AAmac saved me big time on having dumptruck starters and alternators rebuilt. What I paid to have three starters and one altenternator rebuilt, I couldn't have bought one new/reman starter for, and everything come back looking like it had been to the factory. Superb work and quality. Looking forward to doing business for years to come

The ONLY PLACE I will take my car if it is anything electrical (and/or anything that they are willing to work on) : ). Great people that do great work. Trust is a tough thing to earn anywhere.....but this is especially so in the auto repair business. These guys have done it and earned it period. They rebuilt the alternator and starter for my 2001 Corvette and did both quickly and correctly. Cheers to this team !!!! . . . . Brian

I wish I had known about these guys years ago. I had starter problems with my truck for years, and I replaced everything and the issues never got resolved. I went to these guys for the first time today to get my battery cables replaced, and they found that my starter was sparking. After they rebuilt it, I went to crank it up and it turned over like it was new. I honestly forgot what a new starter sounded like. If you have electrical problems, take it to these guys. Jimbo and his staff are pros. The pricing is super reasonable too.

I dropped off my 2006 Ford F150 at AAMAC late on Tuesday with two problems, a failing starter motor and an ignition wire that had been burned in two by a hot engine. As a result of all that I had to essentially hot wire my truck with a push button to get it to m start it some of the time. They called me the next day with the diagnosis and cost to repair. I was out of town and picked it up today. I am so glad to have my truck back and glad that it starts with the key. The cost for the new starter and the wire repair was much less than I expected. The guys at AAMAC were courteous and knowledgable and fair in their pricing. I recommend them.

I have taken several trucks here to have various alternator and AC issues fixed. They are always fast, professional, cost effective. I have had alternators rebuilt, and AC systems charged, repaired, and troubleshot. I really like the shop and quality of service. I have and will continue to recommend this shop for auto electric and AC service.

John stopped what he was doing and saw me immediately (the dealership would not have time to see me for another 2 weeks!), he ran the test on my A/C because they have this specific equipment that I needed (not many places in town do apparently), and even though he could not fix it because it needed a part they didn't have, he was very friendly, spent almost 1h with me to diagnose it and didn't charge for it. If you have a/c problems make sure to go see them. It's not the cutest place, but friendly and efficient!

I definitely recommend this place for all your AC problems. I've taken several of my vehicles here and sent a few friends there as well. The price is affordable, they don't try and take advantage of you, and will tell you the best route you should take. They are fast and friendly and the problem was always fixed that day.

Pulled into their lot to find that my partners vehicle stalled out beside their business as he was headed to them. Before knowing that, I asked if they had seen him or his vehicle. One man didn’t speak and pointed to some bushes and the other one said “back there” without even looking up from what he was doing. When I drove over to him, he was with another man from their business who just gave him a jump. When he walked back inside, my partner’s car didn’t start again. So we used my car to jump it. All the while, 3 men were there and w never once checked back on us. An hour later at 5:00, they all got off and drove right past us leaving work without even a question to see if we were alright. Horrible Customer Service and what a way to lose business! By appearing you could care less. He ended up having to be towed.

My AC went out and John was ready to diagnose the problem and offer a few solutions if I didn’t want to buy a new compressor. Friendly and informative, I’ll be going back if I have issues again

I've been here once to have an alternator replaced and more recently to replace a starter and both times received fast, friendly service. The service was very fast, even though they seemed to be quite busy, and very reasonably priced. To top it off, the gentleman who helped me was very polite and friendly, and even apologized for the wait when the repair had taken less time than I had anticipated. I will absolutely be going back here the next time I have a problem with my car's electrical system.

I started going here several years ago, mainly because it was right around the corner from my house. I never found the staff to be particularly friendly, but they got the job done, and I got my alternator and a few batteries from them. However, it appears things have gone downhill significantly recently and I won't be using them anymore. The attached photo is for the last battery I bought from them, which clearly says on the receipt "60 months warranty." However, when my battery died recently and I went back to them, not only were they supremely rude and unhelpful (I could go into a lot more detail on this point, but I'll spare you), but the only answer greater than 1-syllable I was able to get out of them was "Well, what I can tell you is that we don't have any batteries here for you. You'll have to go to Battery Source to redeem your warranty." The folks at Battery Source were in fact quite helpful, though they had to inform me that, unfortunately, AAMAC had sold me a battery that only had a 3-year warranty, despite what they wrote on the receipt. They even called AAMAC on my behalf to try and straighten things out, but to no avail. So they gave me a discount on a new battery (one with a warranty that they'll actually back up) just to be kind, and I guess this is where I'll be taking my business from now on.

I pulled into the lot for the first time off a recommendation from a friend. I wasn't sure where to go, but I saw the owner chatting with a customer/friend. I wanted to be polite and let them finish talking, so I approached but left some space. I'm positive he noticed me, I was the only other person in the lot, although he didn't acknowledge me at all. I waited about ten minutes for a very dismissive, curt "hey." He didn't ask me what I came in for, as much as stared annoyed at me until I started nervously explaining. It's a problem with the dashboard that takes some time to reproduce. Since I couldn't show him immediately in that moment, even though I explained why, he said something to the effect of "then I guess I can't help you" and just walked away. I'm just glad I left before they actually worked on my car.

It is so refreshing to see a shop where they have the knowledge and skills to do repairs at the component level vs being parts changers like a typical shop. They rebuilt the alternator on my son’s Toyota truck in only a couple hours and got his truck back up and running perfectly. Highly recommend this shop!!

Got my alt and starter replaced and installed, up front/ out the door prices. All I had to do was hand the keys over to the pros, and come back when everything was done. Competitive prices and hard working group!! Definitely recommended.

John and Jimbo have always been great to work with for over 35 years. Had a directional problem on my old truck and they diagnosed the "electrical ground" problem. Can't thank this family enough for keeping us on the road all these years. A trusted small business that's stood the test of time because of how they treat people. Thank you AAMAC!

I took an alternator from a bus there and they had it rebuilt very quickly for me at a very reasonable price. They also tested a starter off a semi for me. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their services.

These Guys are AMAZING!!! We were at the Gainsville Dragway for a race, and our RV slides stopped working. We took our slide motor unit to these guys and they had it repaired within an hour. They made, what could have been a disaster, a pleasant experience. On top of it all, the price they charged for the repair was a lot less than what I was expecting. Thank you Guys for everything!!! 5 stars all the way!!
