My fiancé just got what was estimated to be a 1.6k fender bender job done here for only 800! Literally half the price, everything was buffed out, painted, and popped out perfectly. I know it might be hard to believe you can get honest work for that low of a price but I can assure you this guy knows what he’s doing. Car looks great :)

My daughter is studying in UF. There was a leaking in her car. She got a wonderful repair job done at this place, with a charge of $55. I couldn't believe that the cost could be so low! My daughter called me after the repair and joyfully told me:" Dad, the business owner is like you, small family business, looking after their customers!" I am so happy that the Lord blessed us with people like them 🙏

My car's rear bumper was dented and warped so I visited Mends and Blends at the recommendation of Fishers Auto. The mechanics at Mends and Blends were great! They were courteous and skilled. They not only fixed the dent in my bumper and reattached it, they also buffed out my headlights and tied up a warped piece under the body. They went above and beyond what I expected and I left feeling much better about my car. What was even better was the fact I got to observe them work and ask questions. I will be returning if I ever have body work again.

I recently had a dent in the door of my Tundra repaired by Mends and Blends. The actual cost was less than 25% of the cost estimated by a near-by auto body shop. The repair was flawless and the door appeared as-new. Tim, the owner, found a blemish on body of my truck and repaired it with no additional cost. Tim is very nice and professional. He did not try to gouge us on the price for fixing our Kia. Which had a large dent in the side from a neighbor's tent blowing over the fence during storm Elsa. It was done in a reasonable amount of time. He came highly recommended from Allen's muffler shop across the street. If you need your car worked on go to Allen's. If you need your car painted and body work done because of bonehead neighbors highly recommend going here.🤗

I just have to say that these guys are amazing. They do a great job, they work extremely fast, and the quality of their work overall is excellent. I came in the first time to get a quote on re clearing my carbon fiber trunk that was looking pale and ugly and needed to shine again. Many shops would not work on it because it was too difficult or maybe they just didn't have the experience. Since they quoted me a great price and told me they could totally do it, i went for it and dropped of my trunk. By the next day they had it ready, and all i have to say is that it looked amazing, just like it was brand new. After i saw the quality of work, i decided to drop off my front bumper than had been scratched by valet parking. Once again they amazed me and left my front bumper looking like new. Jimmy ( the owner) gave me the alternative to just fix the side where it was bad ( helping me to try to save some money) but i ended up painting the whole front bumper by choice. Other shops had quoted me an arm and a leg for this repair when here i got it for half the price and could have gotten the side fixed only by 1/6 of the price if i had wanted to. Since by bumper was off, the awesome staff also help me clean my headlights that looked cloudy. These look like new again, i had tried everything myself but never got this result. Overall i am extremely happy with my service and love how humble and friendly the staff was. I definitely recommend anyone to go there if you need any body work.

They've worked on my Mustang multiple times now - dented hood repair, new grille and accent lights, and I just ordered some headlights that I'll be taking to them to have installed as well. The service is fantastic, prices are great (Buchholz quoted me nearly $2000 to fix my hood, Mends & Blends did it for $400), and they're super friendly! Can't recommend them enough.

Best place I’ve ever been! Low quotes for high quality work. Mr. Tim fixed a leak in my roof perfectly. He only charged me $50, when I got a quote from the dealership for at least a few hundred! Super kind and genuine people too! Mr. Tim also showed me how to prevent leaks in the future and to clean up the same issue for free in the future! He cares about his customers. Will definitely be back if I need any car services in the future!

Software companies have convinced body shops to buy expensive software programs with the assurance that the body shops will make it up in what they charge their customers. I got four quotes from “local reputable?” body shops ranging from $2,300 to $3,800 for a small fender and door dent, with 2 wanting to replace the door. Holly, Timmy, and Jimmy at Mends and Blends are awesome. Their “treat the customer right” philosophy is why they stay busy and make a comfortable living, and I bet sleep well at night. Their quote was less than $1,000 and it turned out great. Great fit and finish great paint job. They priced it right and did it right. I can highly recommend Mends and Blends to ANYBODY NEEDING AUTO BODY REPAIR. Go to them first!

A few years ago, I encountered some not-so-friendly curbs and a pillar in a parking garage appeared out of nowhere! It caused some front-bumper damage (a pretty gnarly gash) and some paint damage. Other body shops I took my car to quoted me around $3000 to replace the bumper outright and match the paint, while Mends & Blends took great care of my vehicle and repaired the front bumper and offered to touch up the paint as a bonus for just $600. Great place with personable workers as well.

I backed into a parked car, my rear taillight broke and the bumper was dented. I didn't wanna deal with insurance, so, Mends& Blends was recommended by a friend. I headed there and Holly was there to answer all my questions and provide me with a quote. She was so friendly and transparent, she even encouraged me to shop around which made me feel comfortable. I got 2 other quotes from other shops and they were 3 times the price offered by Holly. She did an amazing job and my car looks brand new! I'll always consider going there without hesitation.

I’ve got quotes from 9 different places in Gainesville and Tim’s Mends & Blends offered the most affordable rate. Quality: Although I was not sure about the quality, I believed in the reviews here and they were all right. Conclusion: I’m adding one more review here myself; if you need your car repair, come visit Tim first and ask. Then, visit different places if needed. I can't say enough good things about Tim! From helping us order the rear light online ("it'll be cheaper than getting it from the dealership") to the immediate installation of the part when we arrived, he did, indeed, treat us like family. Its not easy to find good, kind, honest people in the auto trades anymore, they seem to be a dying breed. But Tim is one of them, and I would not hesitate to recommend him...and have!
