We have had a terrible experience with Aamco in Kennewick. They have had our truck from over 10 weeks and still no movement. We have a lifetime warranty on the truck and we have spoke to warranty, they are saying that they are waiting on Aamco. Aamco is saying that the owner is on vacation and the employee has to wait until he talks to the owner. Our warranty covers up to $300 for a rental car. So we have been paying out of pocket for a rental since it’s been now over 10 weeks and the rental car was only cover for about 6 days.

My Nissan was losing freon overnight after being filled. I took my car to AAMCO and I have cold air, no loss of freon. They are very courteous and understanding. Great service an my truck also!

I went in for an oil change and a transfer case fluid change this morning and was pleasantly surprised with how quickly they were able to work me into their schedule and perform the service. The office was clean as were the bathrooms, and the space was comfortable to work remotely. The manager, Chris, was very personable and helpful and explaining the repairs that I needed done as well as the upfront costs to do the work. The experience was great and it made getting car repairs done, painless! Highly reccomend!

April 4,2025 Update so had them rebuild my transmission February 16, 2024 and it went down a month ago maybe two months ago so it only lasted a year and they charged me just as much as I would’ve got a better warranty through another company. This is really ridiculous. The hydraulic pump went out on it and they supposedly replaced it so yeah, not too happy with these guys. So Casey, the guy that told me that was going to be about $6500 to replace my transmission bottom dollar was almost $10,000. When I got my My pick up back the transmission temperature kept on climbing up past 188 190 which is not typical for these vehicles that I have he said well it’s your fan clutch plate. It won’t cool down. So he gave me a quote on that. No problem. It was like $1000 but did my research a little bit more to find out. It was transmission bypass that he never replaced when he rebuilt my transmission supposedly he rebuilt this transmission and everything and supposedly he knows everything about transmissions but if you knew everything about transmission, why didn’t he replace the bypass which now my temperature for my transmission since I replaced it is running at 1:30 to 140 normal operating temperatures huh kind of weird that somebody that pretty much screwed me and took a vantage of me took all my money from my savings would try to get more money from me forewarning this guy does not know what he’s talking about and he’ll talk Sound like he does. So update I emailed the company never got a response back, I think he was just trying to make himself look good By saying hey, give us a holler to see what we can do To help you out. Literally, the guy took advantage of the situation and pretty much took all my hard earned money And then was trying to take even more by trying to say it was something else that wasn’t keeping my Transmission cool. When it really was a thermal bypass Guy that deals with transmission you would’ve think he would known that it was a thermal bypass.

I got my dream car years ago and it has given me nothing but problems. I’ve used many different shops including the Cadillac dealership. After using this shop there was nowhere else I would take it again. Not only is their work phenomenal but their prices are even better. It’s great having a place you can trust. Look no further bring your vehicle here, 110% recommend.

I did not want to come back here after the first experience.i thought things would get better with new management; And now I know never to come back, this started in july 2024 with an ac. They eventually replaced everything come April 2025 but we kept having problems and telling them it would overheat the engine or not blow cold. Over 7 times back and forth they kept thinking it was an issue with the compressor which was under warranty and still is. Well again we had a problem and at this point we are fed up wasting our time. The moment I want a refund they find out its something else and the whole system is fine. No refund. Its an electrical issue or the fan. Over a year and they couldn't figure it out until I wanted a refund. Even tho we stated multiple times it would overheat when using, they couldnt figure that out until we were done with it all. 2k later and need to spend more money for another fix. Communication has never been good either via phone, its been very frustrating and i am going elsewhere for any problems. Can't use the ac even tho its all fixed. Waste of time and money. Dont come here.

I have had multiple services completed at this location and the one in Richland. Staff is friendly and price is reasonable. This team is not afraid to think outside the box to get me back on the road when parts were not available. Very trustworthy and big on education. Love this shop.

Stopped in for a tire pressure check since my tpms light came on and was told I was due for a transmission service by mileage. Nice to know shops will look at more than just what you bring to their attention.

Review for AAMCO Kennewick, WA If I could leave a -10 star I would! I bought my 2008 F350 brand new and put over 300,000 miles on the stock transmission before needing a replacement. In 2024, I brought the truck to Casey and Vince at AAMCO in Kennewick to have the transmission replaced. I was originally quoted around $7,000, but my final bill ended up being several thousand more — totaling about $10,000. Despite that huge expense, I had to bring my truck back four different times for issues. Eventually, I even had to tow it back to AAMCO at my own expense, only for the warranty period to run out. When I asked for help, Casey told me it was NOT there problem!! Vince initially told me that the truck was still covered for parts and labor. After months of back-and-forth, I finally hauled the truck back from Montana to Washington, expecting them to honor the warranty. Instead, I was told that if I left my truck there, they would have it impounded. Their excuse was that I had “abused” the truck — a claim I strongly disagree with. My advice: read the reviews carefully (most of them are negative) before deciding to trust this shop. In my experience, Casey and Vince — especially Casey — are not qualified, and their business practices feel dishonest.

So disappointed about the way i was treated as a customer. To bring a vehicle in to a shop and get it back in worse condition then it was too begin with is unacceptable. And i would feel sorry for the ones that can’t afford to pay the Bill and have to sign up for a loan there. The interest rate is doubled the price. I would not recommend or ever go back. You only get once to make a good impression.

Got my oil transmission fluid change done here, was recommended by a friend to come here and their customer service was nice and friendly. The new office guy was really nice and sweet. The whole team was amazing. They told me any thing else that may need done on my car that they noticed and etc. Definitely will be coming back, and I see why my friend recommended coming here! Everyone was amazing.

Took my Cadillac in because after 20 miles an hour it wouldn’t stay in overdrive, aamco told me I needed a whole new transmission.i was like what.. picked up my car. Took it somewhere else. Ended up paying $40 for a sensor and the guy put it in for free. That’s all it was. These people are crooks. Get a second opinion or just don’t go to them at all.

My fiancé and I had a terrible experience with AAMCO (Casey and Vince), and I would never recommend doing business with them. We brought in our truck with over 300,000 miles on its original transmission—which had never given us issues—to have it replaced. We were quoted one price, but the final bill ended up being thousands more. After getting the truck back, the transmission failed within just a few months. We had to return it four separate times, and each time there was no resolution. Instead of standing behind their work, they blamed us, claimed we had “abused” the truck, and voided our warranty. It doesn’t make sense—our original transmission lasted 300,000 miles, yet the one they installed couldn’t make it a fraction of that distance. The experience was extremely frustrating, costly, and disappointing.

Worst experience ever!!! Had a transmission fluid temperature sensor code on, told them about it but they still insist on diagnosing the car, they charged me $234 for that even though it says $199, then about five hours later they told me we couldn't find the issues we need another hour to find it! After charging me the $234 they still wanted to charge me for the one extra hour !!2 hrs later they said yes it was the sensor if you fix it with us we will charge you including the diagnosticwill go toward the fix!! At the end of the day I didn't know what the cost and what the story is, next day they called me they said yes it would cost $1300 to fix the car and transmission fluid change. I said leave it don't fix it. So now I paied $440 for a paper that says it's transmission fluid temperature sensor which is exactly what the code said at the first place!!!

After a recent experience with another auto shop, I've had very little faith in getting a truthful help from some shops, but not here. They tell you straight up truth with out the up sale to help you keep your vehicle running at its best. Vincent is an amazing man to work with I have the utmost trust in his knowledge and his team.

2011 Crown Vic had the A/C seize and give fits to the belt and tensioner. Brian was very helpful to remind me about contacting my insurance for tow, as I was still stunned by the fact that I was about to experience a repair bill. I am still stunned. They did get paid but they did the repair well from what I can tell and turned it around quickly which I do apprecieate. Go Navy!
