From what I've heard and read—this place does a terrible job at fixing vehicles. Hopefully they can fix my cousin's jeep correctly. If we would have known ahead of time how bad this shop is, then we would not have picked this place out.

Took my car in to have transmission checked. Later they tell me the motor is gone. It never smoke . They told me there's no oil in it and when he drove it around it heated up and now want start. New rebuilt motor $4400 new one $8500. Paid $221.69 for what? I email owner of Aamco Transmission on 23rd and he said it was all a miss understanding and wanted to check it out he has new manger Jon Had it towed home the tow truck driver got in it it started he back it up took it to my house The next day husband checked the oil was full also radiator was full. I drove it to work 5 days on the 5 day it died. Again. I talked with Jon he wanted to check it out No charge He said they don't charge for diao Was told motor is now gone So if they don't charge to check it out why did I pay $221 Again told to Jon about refund he told me I'm changing his words around and was never told what I heard STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU HAVE EXTRA Money

Quality repairs at a fair price! This is the only place I trust to service my families vehicles. They offer nation-wide warranties and helped me get financed so we could get our truck fixed and back on the road better than before!

Would not recommend. After I was told my car was ready for pick up, I went to leave the lot and discovered my key fob no longer worked. I was told them would need more time to reset the fob. After further investigation I was told it would be an additional $500 to fix the fob issue, even though there was no issue before work was preformed on the car. Now I’m left with a car that the alarm sounds every time I unlock it.

I was lied too and cheated. Don’t come here. Don’t trust just any of those warranty companies. If the shop damages ur vehicle, too bad. Two different locations had my vehicle for 366 days and I’m having to repairs their repairs! Every single month there was a different new manager. Paperwork was missing or missing info. This last round the new face had no clue about pricing, thinking 3100 for one wheel bearing is normal.

I can’t say enough good things about the service I received. Logan was professional, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what was going on with my car in a way I could actually understand, and he didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need. The work was done quickly and correctly the first time. It’s rare to find a mechanic you can fully trust- but Logan has earned that trust. Highly recommend!

Ironic. I rated this place a 1 star because it was evident that their communication was definitely off key. Plus their Better Business Bureau Rating. They almost immediately called afterwards and gave me almost all of the relevant information needed. However, one of their employees stated I had a bad valve cover gasket that was leaking. How so? I literally just got this vehicle from the dealership, and drove it around 50-75 miles. As of now, nothing said about the valve cover gasket. Strange? So I rated them from a 1 star to a 2 (for almost better communication). Now I cannot trust if they are going to fix my vehicle correctly. And to mention the people with physical evidence about their vehicles not being fixed properly. Now all of a sudden the dealership is calling me asking me about the reviews I left with this mechanic shop? Wow. Like they are not going to entirely fix my vehicle? Or charge me an outrageous price, that I should not have to pay for in the first place? So I will give them a benefit of the doubt. Raise this from a 2 star to a 3. If I can drive my vehicle out of the parking lot and back home without it crapping out. Or have a mechanic test drive it with me in it for a few miles—then I will give this mechanic shop the correct rating.

So we had a hard time with my car and I'm not going to lie, I was a bit skeptical but they helped me out and they took care of me and my car. I am forever grateful! Shout out to John for taking care of us. I would definitely not think twice about going to them again. I don't know how to express how happy I am with their service. And also thank you to the owner ☺️

The management and staff are professional and caring, and do an outstanding service on my car/jeep whenever work needs to be done. They are fair in their pricing and tell you exactly what needs to be done on your car.

Upon my visit front desk guy was knowledgeable, helpful and advisable. The crew from what I seen and heard is well experienced on repairs , although pricing is a bit on the high side .. but if I needed more automotive repair I would trust them to do job correctly

Took my car in February and they said they fixed my axel bearing and wheel bearings. My car started having the same problems again 3 months later. When I took my car back they wanted to charge me again for the problem that they didn’t fix. I took my wheel off and they never replaced the axel bearing or wheel bearings that I paid for. Oh and whoever put my wheels back on needs to learn how to use a torque wrench, because we had to chisel the lug nuts off the wheel to fix the car. I would stay away from this place

Took my suv here a month ago was told it was items costing over 1200 financed to get it fixed $2000 + and been having one issue after another since then. At this point I feel like I’m being scammed because I’m a woman and their gonna say it’s unrelated issue even though the issue that happened after they fixed it is still messed up and probably caused the things happening now. I have missed out on so much work taking the car back n forth up there. And they not in a hurry to correctly fix the issue! I was told to leave it there yesterday when I brought it around 930 am so it can be looked at first thing this am and I had to go up there this afternoon before they decide to pull my car back they worried about getting more customers when they should be worried about making sure customers don’t have to come back! Went from having a supposed oil pan and transmission pan leak to paying for that leaving n then realizing their is an antifreeze leak after they swore in the original diagnosis there was no antifreeze leak to them fixing whatever that was, to the antifreeze is still leaking and now my car stalling out on the highway while driving! Seems like they trying to make my engine or transmission go out so I can need more repairs and that is what is frustrating me the most cause I could of lost my life on the highway the other day and no one cares about how these insufficient repairs put me in danger! I originally took the car in asking about a antifreeze leak n they said there absolutely was no leak their instead their were leaks in all these other pans so tell me what’s really going on with my car and the “mechanics” here? If I take a car to a mechanic to get an issue resolved it is not my expectation to have to bring it back a couple times in the same month because more things start going wrong after the “repair” I’m not paying for another thing to be done due to mechanic negligence. And of course they are denying that anything is still leaking when I watched it with my own eyes when the mechanic started my car. And now their saying it’s my throttle another repair of over $600

Stay away from this place entirely. Please read the entire review.. They first received my truck back in January due to some spark plug issues with having mismatched spark plugs when I had purchased it. They had reportedly fixed my issue of loss of power and I had came to pick the truck up after being charged $4000. My truck didn’t even make it halfway down the road before it broke down again And I took it back just to find out I had another $2000 in repairs because there was more wrong in my engine so I had paid that through their financing was told the truck was ready a third time, The third time I ended up having piston failure, which I had to take back to them and had to pay another $1500. Altogether, I had paid this location a little over $6000 For engine work and now guess what my engine is blown up because of the incompetence to properly diagnose all of the issues with my engine. The first time around instead I had to keep bringing my truck back-and-forth back-and-forth because it was never diagnosed it properly. And through all of this I’m expected to buy another engine and his only solution was free labor. I’m sorry for $6000 I should have a new engine in this truck which I would have had it been fully diagnosed properly the first time. Instead, I had to take it back-and-forth pay all these tow bills and now I’m drowning in debt. I’m sorry, but an engine don’t just have one thing fail immediately after another on multiple different occasions within just a couple of months. This engine also only had 150,000 miles. So with this being said, I’ve been in contact with multiple different lawyers who all said to present a lawsuit and I have currently taken up a lawyer, which I will be presenting a lawsuit against this location. Unless the owner decides to refund me my money, this will all be going to court. There is no reason with how much I spent putting a delicious truck. Should my engine have blown up the way it did not one time after any of the repairs hasn’t made it home and lasted more than a day. Also, the last photo just proves these guys have no clue on what they’re doing on anything. I mean they who the hell parks under a lift like are you kidding me and it has a vehicle on it

We needed our van transmission replaced and my warranty provider suggested AAMCO. I am now loyal to AAMCO. John was extremely friendly and flexible. I called outside of business hours and he still worked with me. They were very communicative and very timely. I'd recommend them to anyone, they were great. And after a HORRIBLE experience of an engine replacement (on another vehicle) at McCarthy Hyundai Blue Springs, I really needed a reliable shop to do major repairs who wouldn't take advantage of me.

I had a great experience with Jon at AAMCO. From the start, he communicated clearly and kept me informed every step of the way, which made a stressful situation much easier. My car was finished quickly, the price was fair, and there were no surprises. I truly appreciated the professionalism and care. I would absolutely come back and recommend Jon to anyone.
