Besides selling all my information to insurance companies, this place has obviously no knowledge in car repair or customer service. I wrecked my car last winter and didn't really have a choice in mechanics because my car was overheating due to a "broken" radiator and I wasn't able to drive much farther. They informed me I needed a new radiator and I blissfully agreed, not knowing a thing about cars. Ended up charging me over $800 for a "new" radiator. I put that in quotations because when I took it to the next mechanic they informed me that it was definitely not new, and should not have cost more than $200, it that. Anyways, after being swindled and overcharged, I went home and within 24 hours of paying received over 16 different insurance agents asking if I needed a quote for my recent accident. After furiously questioning every caller after the first two, I found out that my name and number had been sold out. My credit card just happened to have an unexplained charge as well, coincidence? I think not. A few months later, now in the summer time, when my car is overheating and leaking coolant. I take my car in to get fixed to another location (obviously), and they tell me the previous mechanic did not connect the fan or the coolant hose correctly. Leading me to believe, abbott's mechanics are quite literally the dumbest mechanics in the state of Indiana. In my opinion, you're better off watching a youtube video or fix your car with duct tape rather than go to this terrible and awful place.

Abbott’s is awesome. Everyone there is super friendly. They get your work done in a timely manner and finish the job when they say that they are. They have rentals onsite to make it easy for you. I will definitely be going back to Abbott’s if I need body work done on my car again. Thanks guys!

They are awesome! I had spent the day waiting at different body shops only to find out it would be a month before they could even get me in. I went to Abbott's, and I knew within minutes that they could get it in within days. Chandra even set everything up for my rental and took care of everything for me. Exceptional customer service!!!

These people were extremely helpful. I knew nothing about this process but they were very knowledgeable about what they were doing with my car and how to deal with the insurance company. They even fixed some things free of charge. The staff seem like very friendly and honest people. I just pulled up, asked for an estimate, they sent it to the insurance company, they made sure I got a rental car, and once it was approved, they fixed my car in only 3 days. I wouldn't recommend any place else.

Absolute horror story of a place. Terrible workers, unprofessional. I got in to a small fender bender and took my car there because it was the only place covered under insurance, big mistake. I had spent a year building the engine in my car, it was my pride and joy. The car was in the shop for nearly 2 months untill I get a call that the car won’t start. Looked at the car with a friend who is a professional in the car I owned at the time. All of my electronics were fried, an $800 computer, a gauge, my brand new stereo, my alternator had been overcharged. 9 months later of calling over and over and no returns on calls or emails back Jason the owner says he is not liable and that I can take him to court if I want my money back from all the parts they had broke. He made rude comments towards me saying he has money and calling me poor. I saw him at Meijer and he yelled “broke” at me over and over again, very professional. One time visiting his shop he charged a lady $700 for a simple headlight change. Ridiculous. Multiple aftermarket car tuning shops have said they’ve taken their cars in there and had the same results with their cars being broken. My car had 12+ scratches, bumps, and dents that weren’t there before I took it in. The car had so many problems I had to sell it. It was my prized possession. Jason did not care and showed no sympathy and would not take the stand and be an adult and fix the mistakes he made on my car.

I had a little accident with a snow bank and decided to have Abbott's Precision Collision fix my car. They were wonderful. They arranged for tow trucks to come to my home and get my car. They worked very closely with the insurance company and I had no headaches. This is a local company and I spoke with the owner several times. Very knowledgeable and very kind and courteous. The work they did to my car was amazing. Update 2/15/2016: A deer ran into my passenger side of my car. I took to Abbott's Precision again and they did an outstanding job on my car again. My car is a 2009 Pontiac G6. It did take a little longer as finding a few parts took a little longer to find. I have no complaints with Abbott's and have recommended this body shop to many people and will continue to recommend them.

I took my car to another shop at first because my insurance recommend them. I got an estimate and even though they knew I had no rental coverage they said it would be 3 weeks at least. I heard a commercial for Abbott's on the radio and thought I would see what they could do. He said it would take 8 days, it was done in only 3 days!!! My car looks brand new! They even detailed the interior! I love this place, I will NEVER go any where else!!! Very polite, helpful and explained exactly how everything would work, even with my insurance. Abbott's is amazing and I will recommend them every time I get a chance. Thank you Jason and all your crew!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. It’s what this place deserves. A little while ago we had a car taken there for a regular fix that any shop could do. They jumped the vehicle backwards and fried everything. Jason the owner then said he was working to fix it. Months and months later he then said he doesn’t feel like it was his fault. We just gave up after 8 months of trying to get this car fixed. Our family was so drained and exhausted from this company. Never answered our calls or returned calls. Absolutely horrible. It has been a few months since we just took the car back. Me and my boyfriend got a new vehicle because his car was totally ruined from this place. We went to meijer last night and when walking out Jason Abbott was walking in and starting SCREAMING at us. I’m not 100% sure what he was screaming because it was so loud we couldn’t make it out. It sounded like “ broke” over and over again. That’s how professional this place is. It was disgusting and just unreal. I cannot believe he reacted to us like that. We simply looked in his direction and kept walking. Please do not go to his shop and trust him.

Everything went great from estimate to repair! Two things kept me from giving a 5- When scheduling the repair, we called several times during the workday & got no answer. Secondly I’d recommend when they call to notify that vehicle is ready , they let you know that there is a 3% fee for credit/debit card use.

Had repair done to my Honda Accord. Everyone was great to work with! They even gave me a rental car because a sensor came on and they needed it for a little longer. Great customer service!! Update- Jason fixed my uncles car, that my family and I paid for as a gift . Jason brought me a check for $200.00 a week later . It ended up he said not costing as much to repair . I have never had anyone ever go out of there way to give money back. Thanks again!

** Avoid at all cost ** My car had a collision on the front right bumper. The bumper rail got impacted and slightly bent + radiator leaked (so it had to be replaced). I towed my car here for a repair according to a recommendation of the police officer. After 14 days, I got the car back but they did really poor job at repairing (especially aligning the frame; see pictures). They could pull just a little further to make all parts aligned, but chose to deliver me anyways. The impact I got is minor as you can see from the picture of frame under hood. Complained about the misalignment and all they did was putting glue & trying to make side and front bumper stick together. The glue lasted but only for a couple of days. Went back again to and was told to pay more for a repair. I obviously declined their offer.

What a nightmare it has been. I took my wrx in to have some light front end damage repaired. The work seemed to take forever. When i was told my car was finished i arrived to notice the work was terrible ( dust particles under/in the paint, and sanding swirl marks all over the hood under the paint) and requested the issues to be fixed. After a couple days i went to pick up the car and it had maybe 5 less flaws then before. 👏 I needed my car so i took it that day. About to months later and the paint on the bumper was flaking off here and there, so i took it back in to have that fixed. I highly doubt they repainted the whole bumper so ill be expecting flaking paint again in the next couple months, not to mention there are sanding marks under the paint all over my hood still. I do not recommend this shop to anyone.

I had a small fender bender and also ended up hitting a deer. I went in and scheduled an appointment and everything was fixed within a week. Only problem was my drivers side mirror had not been hooked up so i could not adjust the mirror. I took it back in and they fixed it right away. I definitely will be going back in the future if I have any issues.

Abbott’s did a great job repairing my 2025 Equinox and repainting our golf cart when unfortunately the golf cart ran into the back of my car in our driveway. Abbott’s was very fair on price and they were able to provide me an estimate same day and did the work the following week. Very happy with the out outcome on both items! Also, shout out to Chandra! She is fantastic to work with from the original estimate all the way through pick up and payment. She is a fantastic employee that represents Abbott’s very well!
