As a regular customer I went in for a simple oil change ,after an hour they came up and said we can clean your batter for $45 and change your brake fluid for almost $200. I said no. My rav4 is 4 years old with less than 17000 miles. I don’t need all that. So another 45 minutes and we’re done. Long time for an oil change. Then the bill was $60 plus. And I asked if there was a coupon available I had forgot to bring one. No. You don’t have it no discounts. I sai ok. Paid it and I’m done with them. Not my first time of lousy service. From day one not great

THE place for Toyotas in STL. Ackerman has a long storied history in the auto dealership business. They take care of you and truly want you as a customer for life. It's probably the most pain free experience buying an auto in STL. Ask, nay, demand you speak to a certain salesman, say, 30 plus years experience. They can work a deal fairly and have you out the door within 3 hours. You know who you are. Everyone else should too! Don't be too disappointed when you find out that most of the autos are already sold. They can find you what you want or order it. Just be prepared to wait a bit. It's worth it. I bought a used RAV4 recently and am very happy. Second Toyota btw. Do yourself a favor. Shop here.

The waits at this place for any kind of service (even with an appt) are extremely long. I also feel they try to add on anything they can to increase the service charge. I won't be going back to them after my recent experience.

This Toyota Dealership is gorgeous. It's not in the best location, which being new, boggles the mind as to why it was built there. Everyone is nice My only issue is, like every other dealership, is the scare tactics used to get you to have additional services performed. I mean, seriously, brake fluid flush? It's literally the only fluid in a vehicle that does one job without "going bad". So unless you've rode your brakes and overheated the braking system, stop asking me for services I've already don't or is really unnecessary. I know they're going by "Manufacturer Recommendations" It shouldn't cost $65 to change a $15 cabin filter that you merely open a hatch at the back of the glovebox to access. A 30 second job cost over $40? Again, this is Toyota, not the specific dealership. The facility is extremely clean, their COVID protocols are great; though vaccinated, I still felt safer while not feeling detached from anyone there. I called to check availability for an oil change and Steve got me right in. Kudos to Steve as I usually have to make an appointment around my work schedule.

People amazing. Very helpful. When picked up my car. Randell sat in the car with me and explained the entire dashboard to me. I first saw it, thought it looked a cockpit of a plane. He was soooo very good in his knowledge of the car and how to explain to me. Most things I already knew, just a little different setup. Still learning, but the reassurance knowing I could call if I need help is a big plus in my book. Thank you Ackerman Toyota, sales people with whom I worked with and to Randell. You have all made this experience for me the best ever!!!

Today's trip was for a state emissions test for the Avalon. I met the service tech in the bay. He quickly and professionally moved through the sign in process. I was in and out of the service dept. In less than 30 minutes. I checked out a few cars and sat down with my latte. Then in a few minutes my inspectuon was complete.

Recently i was in the market for a new vehicle and walked into Ackerman Toyota with all kinds of questions and concerns (mostly about the technology built into new model cars) and was lucky enough to be helped by an angel of a salesman - Ryan O'Leary. Never have i had such a positive experience with a salesman. All my stress dissipated in the warmth and light of his friendly presence. On that day and in the weeks to follow he never once put pressure on me in any way. Instead of leveraging my stress to push for a sale, he respectfully did not do that. He made every interaction feel like a heart-warming, happy occasion involving nothing other than a search for my best interests. Though i didn't end up buying from Toyota, i wanted to give Ryan the endorsement of my personal 5-STAR AWARD for sales service! And a 5-STAR rating goes to Ackerman Toyota for having a salesman like Ryan O'Leary!

It was awful. Oil change time said 45 mins and They made me wait 1.5 hour and charged me for wrong car and they gave me the wrong key .Somebody would take my car as well. And It was different price 55 $ lower than mine . They refund me without taking my permission and informing me even not said Sorry. Then I requested that price as a discount they did not accept that said people make mistakes . Big companies doesn't say that they show their sorry. Even they did not say Sorry. It was so bad experience. I don't recommend their service.

Very brand new service center with great environment. Staffs are extremely helpful. As a owner of a mitsubishi, I initially worried about the service they can do for me. However, I was surprised by their professional. Steve was very kind and helpful. He would solve your all concern. I will keep update when I do other maintenance in the service center in the future.

My wife and I were in St Louis to visit our grandson and Washington University. We had just arrived with a non functioning passenger side windshield wiper. It was Friday at 4PM when I pulled into the service bay. I spoke to Scott in service who immediately came out to the car and confirmed the wiper was not working. He took the car into service and within 20 minutes had the blade working again. Apparently a screw had come loose. Not only was the service fast, he refused to have me pay anything for the service. We are very appreciative of the service provided and if this is any indication of how this dealership is run, you would do well to consider them for your needs. Thanks again, Dom and Marie Agostin

I recently visited the service department and was greeted in a very warm and kind manner. I was feeling overwhelmed as I had just hit a pothole and I wasn’t sure if I would need a tire or an entire rim. It is like Dennis at the counter could feel my anxiousness and he reassured me that they would take care of me. I immediately felt comforted. They took my car away and I made my way to the waiting area. It was warm and the seating was comfortable. The Wi-Fi password was visible and I retrieved my earbuds to start watching something to take my mind off the future repairs and especially the bill. It wasn’t long before Dennis presented the bill for the needed repairs. I asked for a few minutes and he allowed me some time to deliberate with my husband on the phone. No pressure to SELL the service. An expensive repair is the last thing I need before the holidays. I was feeling extremely stressed with the decision when the mechanic Nick sat down to see if there was another option. We were able to come up with a plan to keep me safe on the road with some conservative repairs and allow some time for planning. Once again, I was impressed with the personal touch. I always feel like family and will continue to purchase my vehicles at Ackerman, Toyota.

I have patronized and appreciated Ackerman for at least 9 years, even though I always had to wait hours while my car was being serviced. This time I brought in my slightly used 2020 Carolla because one of it's tires wouldn't stay inflated. I made an appointment a day ahead of time with one of the servicemen, which I expected would be honored, but even though I arrived a bit ahead of time, it was 2 hours before the service was completed (tire was patched). I was, and am, disappointed. I do not intend to remain a customer of Ackerman.

I come here for service regularly. They are prompt and listen to your concerns. Scheduling is flexible and transparent usually. I've had a few occasions when the wait time was not clearly called out but that was prepandemic. I would say the service quality has improved since then.

Made an appointment to get tire checked. Went to drop off car to get a tire checked, stood in waiting room for 10 minutes before being acknowledged. I was told it would be less than an hour if it would be easier to wait. Two hours later I told that it would only be a few more minutes which turned into another 20 minutes. End result was a two and a half hour wait for one tire change.

They always do a really fantastic job with polite service. They make helpful suggestions for car maintenance every visit. They have such quality service and amenities while waiting. They are always on point and always honest. Won't take my Toyota anywhere else!

Today’s service has made me never want to come back to this place for service again. The customer service rep Alyssa was super rude to me from the beginning. I made an appointment online and I thought I made it for today but it was for next week. She told me that they will do my oil change today but not expect to be seen again if I do that again. I go wait for my car to be done and she comes back to tell me that they recommended a service to be done and i didn’t realize that I agreed to the service. They do it and I was told the amount. So if you go here and they say they recommend a service think about what you say because it will be taken as a yes I would like that to be done. I’m really frustrated with the whole thing. I hope no one else gets tricked into paying for something they didn’t agree to like I did. I guess they do not like when you buy a Toyota from another dealership.

Sadly, toyota feels like a lifetime owner as myself and my older trucks don't deserve the same care as a newer ride . Built my 22re with all Toyota and Toyota performance parts. I use the correct oil and fluids .. 10w 30 can be purchased at the part store, but I chose to come to my toyota dealership to get the proper oil and filter. . No longer feel the need to carry or ask if they could get it for me.. Sad service 😢

Last week, I scheduled an appointment for an oil change. After the service, I discovered that my headlight on one side was not working, even though it had been functioning perfectly before the oil change. The following day, I returned to the service center and spoke with the same person, Mark Wright, who had scheduled my oil change. I explained that my headlight had stopped working right after the service. He informed me that I would need to pay for a new bulb and the associated labor costs. I was taken aback and pointed out that the headlight was working before the service and had stopped afterward, so I believed it was the company's responsibility to fix it as it was their fault and they are accountable for that. Mark responded very rudely, saying that the company is not liable for any issues that arise after the service, and abruptly asked me to leave. When I requested to speak to his manager, he refused. This experience has left a very bad impression on me, and I have decided never to return. I will also share my experience with my friends to never visit Ackerman.

Pleased with the customer service and end results I received for some recent repair work. Definitely call to make an appointment in advance as they seem to prioritize servicing appointments over walk-ins which is good practice. Very much appreciated their communication, updates, and timeliness throughout the repairs process.
