So disappointed with the service. After filling out the proper paper work, they say we can go on with our day and they would call us when they have an answer, typically they don't want you to leave so you don't get a cold feet about the purchase, about an hour later they called and say sorry we tried everything and we couldn't get it done. So but with average credit and a 6000 trade in for a 16000 dollar car they couldn't??? I've done it before with no trade in and worst credit( of course APR was so high) with my experience i know financing agency may ask for more down payment in order to get approve, this wasn't the case a day after I called and asked "what if we put more cash as down" his answer was "he would check with lender" so after 24 hours he didn't check that option?? I just had the feeling he didn't tried hard enough, I can even say that I felt that for being Hispanic I didn't get the same attention as other customers. I hope this is not one of those dealers I was advised no to go to any Santa Barbara dealers for the same reason I thought they just were exaggerating but after this experience I think they were right

The sales professional was very friendly and helpful. He was very respectful and was able to clarify all my doubts. We went for a test drive and his knowledge about the car was awesome. All the sales professionals were very professional and did not push to buy the car immediately as generally other dealers do. I would definitely recommend this dealer.

Sales department was fine, service department is terrible. I’ve had scheduled appointments and waited 30 minutes to be helped after my slotted time. I’ve never been to a luxury brand dealership that returns your car unwashed and not vacuumed after service. If you want the treatment/competency of a Saturn dealership buy here!

Got such excellent service before, during and after purchasing an Acura RDX here. The staff are so helpful and really care about their clients. Syd spent quite a bit of time helping me with my tech components in my car, resetting things and showing me how other items worked that I was confused about. Jee, in the Service Department, words cannot express. What a kind, cheerful, go the extra mile type of person. Lucky company that finds such great employees! Would highly recommend them.

Tony was so incredibly helpful. I called late in the afternoon saying that I could not link my cell phone to the car. Even calling Acura hands free link hadn't helped. Tony fixed the problem in 5 minutes...at no charge! He said we're here for you. He represents a terrific example of outstanding service and courtesy. Thanks, Tony.

Incredible experience. Our sales consultant Cynthia answered all our questions and kept us up to date on the status of our purchase. She navigated pandemic delays with a great sense of humor! Our patience was greeted by big smiles from Cynthia, Nick and Sam introducing us to our beautiful new TLX. Can’t brag about the team and experience at SB auto group enough! Thank you all

If you need an Acura this is the place to buy . Tony and Sam are very professional . They made the transaction very pleasant and smooth. No games . Great service. Beautiful facilities. I have been in the car business 17 years and can say these guys are pros . They delivered on Everything they promised and more. Will definitely do business in the future. Ask for Tony. Great dealership! Buying process was easy and smooth. Their service department is the same. I will definitely be going back. They took care of a nasty rattle I had on my SRT. Have to say I’m very happy with the service department and Sam for taking care of my issue. Tony my salesman is top notch👌🏼. He made the deal happen before I could even ask for a test drive. Thank you all who made it happen and took care of the rattle.

I originally tried to buy a new RDX A-Spec back in 2019 from here, but unfortunately did not feel welcomed and left to buy elsewhere. I have called 2 times and both times left a message within the last 6 months to try to schedule maintenance service appointment and guess what? I have not gotten a call back. I have left a pretty clear voice message of what I would like done to my wife's Acura. The only positive experience was with Howard in the Parts Dept. I will bite the bullet and take my wife's Acura to a farther dealership for maintenance service now due to the negative experience here. I will also buy my wife's next Acura some where else.

absolutely HORRIBLE customer service from the service center. My husband’s engine malfunctioned on the freeway & gave out. This is due to a recall that we’ve received. When I called the closet Acura to us (this one) the service lady was incredibly rude, telling me I didn’t understand how to read the recall? Had no answers for me and told me she couldn’t help me and I would have to tow it to them only for them to look at it & then make a separate appointment for a recall that will take MONTHS to get. With absolutely NO loaner & no way to direct. (Even though American Honda motors said they would in fact cover the loaner) she didn’t care to listen & transferred me to the maintenance manager and said he probably won’t answer cause he’s not at his desk. GOLD COAST ACURA DID THE OPPOSITE AND TOOK US RIGHT IN WITH A LOANER FOR AS LONG AS WE NEEDED. GIVE YOUR SERVICE TO THEM !!!!!

This is a review of the Service Center. After having my car serviced at this dealership service center, the paint was power washed off of the vehicle by mistake. They made it right and had the area repainted but it was inconvenient. When it was then discovered on the next service that the oil pan had been damaged during the previous service (when the paint was damaged) and that it needed to be repaired, the Service Manager would not take responsibility for damage that could have only been caused by the dealership service center. The service manager required that I pay for some of the repair. Beyond requiring me to pay for the mistake, the Service Department Manager was extremely condescending and did not look into the cause of the damage at all. Its bad enough when your car is damaged by the service center, it's really bad when they make you pay them to fix it. I could have taken it elsewhere, but then I would have been on the hook for the entire amount, which I think was the point of paying a portion but not the whole sum. Spare yourself the drama and just avoid this place. Update: I contacted the general manager at the email address for Scott Westbrook prior to posting this review and did not hear back. Even after the reply to this review, I still haven't heard from him. The responses make it look like they are concerned but there is not any action that backs that up. It's just perception management.

The best experience at the Acura dealership in Santa Barbra! I worked with Cynthia and she was the absolute best. I’m not from the area so all of our communication with her was over the phone and I didn’t actually see the car until picking it up. Her excellent customer service make the process so easy and made us feel comfortable in trusting we were getting the exact car I wanted. We also worked with Nic their delivery specialist who was also amazing and made us feel like a valued customer immediately upon arrival. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. Their customer service is top notch and made the car buying experience better than I could have ever expected.

I consistently have great experiences with this dealership since I bought my car from them in 2019!! To put it simply, I would say that they under promise and over deliver on a regular basis when I need my RDX to be serviced. I also had an unexpected flat tire yesterday afternoon with a nail in it and they took excellent care of me today so that my car was finished earlier than expected!! Gabe is very respectful as well!!! Thank you, SB Acura!!!!

Cynthia was great to work with! Super friendly and gave no pressure at all when we were looking for a car. The dealership overall was great as well. We searched online for deals in Oxnard and Santa Maria, and somehow got one of the best deals in Santa Barbara. Very happy with the overall process and love our "brand used" car!

One of the worst dealerships out there. Reyna may possibly be the worst service advisor ever. Called in to talk about the $800 charge to flush a transmission for my parents who had brought their car in. She proceeded to tell me she never said that ( email with a $800 total says otherwise), then proceeds to tell me is $573, still outrageous but whatever. She then goes on to tell me to never call this dealership again. Don't worry I will not and I will stop referring business to them as well being that I work for the dealer that used to have Acura and customers still come here to ask where the dealership went. I will be referring them to other shops. On top of all that they tried to get my parents to sell their RDX by stating that it will start having major issues soon, and will break down on them, all this before even seeing the car which is in great shape.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE! I was so nervous about going to a dealership for the first time because I didn’t know what to expect. I was on the hunt for a pre-owned car and my saving grace was Cynthia Morales. She went above and beyond to make sure I found the right car for my very specific wants/needs. She answered all my questions and never made me feel dumb for not knowing something. Another big shout out has to go to Sam Tokhi for also being amazing and helping me. And we can’t forget about Mr.“G” for fixing up the car and making sure it was fit for sale! Santa Barbara Auto Group was very transparent about the cost and made sure that I understood all the paperwork before signing. After I officially got the car signed over to me, they even took the time to help me learn how to work all the new technology that I’ve never been exposed to. I could go on and on but basically these people rock and their cars are very nice 😊!

Stay away from Brandon. Terrible sales person, and terrible “manager”. I just had the worst possible experience at Santa Barbara Acura (Honda). I came in to test drive an Integra Type S, having just come from the Lexus dealer (where I had a pleasant experience test driving the IS 500). First sales person was young and did the typical high pressure sales things (what monthly payment do you want, how much are you going to put down?) I told him I was just here to see the car to see if I liked it, and wasn’t ready to buy, but that I was more interested in total cost and (if I financed) the APR, and my down payment could be 10-100%. After he finished “filling out his paper”, I went to go look at the Type S they had in the showroom. Once the sales guy came back I asked if we could take a test drive. He ran off to “go check” and came back with his “manager” Brandon. Brandon wanted us to “go run numbers” first, and I told him I was only interested in test driving. Brandon said we couldn’t test drive without agreeing to a price. He then said “people that buy this car don’t need to test drive.” I told him that was BS and left. As we were leaving I saw Brandon come out and I went to him to tell him they lost a customer. He didn’t care. He said buyers on the Type S “want zero miles on it”, and that he’d never let anyone test drive them. I see the “owner” responding to these reviews, so I hope they see this. Definitely make me want to take my cash elsewhere.

Thank you James for making my first Acura purchase a success. I came in to buy a Civic SI and he showed me this A-Spec Integra and I feel in love with it.
