Gave them a 4 only because the part was defective. People there were friendly and the alternator I bought was defective and they were able to give me a replacement after testing the new one to make sure we wouldn't have the same issue

Third store I visited to replace a headlight bulb for my car and the ONLY one who would help me put it in in the dark and cold after I got a warning ticket for it being out. Average auto parts service. Had battery check said it was fine pulled away went home tried starting car, battery was completely dead and it wasn't the alternator. Bought battery elsewhere works fine. Need to train your personal how to use battery tester. Also got charged twice for 1 item. Buyer beware!

We had the best experience in your Joliet location. I managed to get my car to the parking lot with a dead as a door nail battery. I spoke to Davareon about purchasing a battery and explained that we needed a battery that would get us through one more year with this car. Instead of seeing a large sale Davareon took the opportunity to help a customer make a responsible purchase and presented a much more practical option. I was absolutely blown away at his attention to customer care over a commission percentage. But it didn’t stop there - after returning to the store with a purchased battery that I wasn’t equipped to replace myself he came out to my car (in the rain) and replaced the battery himself and made sure the job was done right. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate Davareon and his professionalism - his true above and beyond nature has made myself and my family life long customers. Advance Auto - you have a gem of an employee in Davareon!!

These guys are always so friendly and helpful. You can usually find some sort of coupon if you sign up for their emails. They replaced my battery (that was practically rusted in to place) with a smile on their faces (even though it took double the time it should have taken because the bolt was rusted in to place. I could not have done it my self and I was So thankful that they didn't send me away and powered through it!

My Son took his vehicle here to have his battery checked. Upon arriving the vehicle wouldn’t start. The employees offered to charge his battery to see if that was the issue. We left the vehicle there and they charged the battery for several hours. I went back to get the vehicle and again it wouldn’t start. Isaiah one of the employees assisted me in this matter. I was unable to take the vehicle at this point and asked if I could leave it there and he assured me it was no problem. I tried giving him a tip for being so helpful, and he refused. He stated he just wanted to help and make sure we were ok. I was grateful.

Visited location yesterday morning for a new battery for my 2014 Ford Fusion. Two inexperienced and incapable staff members didn’t know how to test or remove the battery. They told me I had to take the car to a mechanic because the vehicle had to be taken apart to get to the battery. Ridiculous. Go elsewhere. Don’t the employees get any training?!

Anyways they had a little trouble with removing my car battery because of rust, these gentlemen were determined they were going to install my car battery, they put in a lot of effort and they finally did it. My girlfriend was in the store not too long ago to buy a battery. She purchased the battery from a women named joana and when she brought it home to me i realized it was the wrong battery group size. Also when looking at the receipt she was charged an additional $35 for a warranty she was not asked or told about. I will never be bringing my business here again this was horrible.

Walked in needed a bulb. The guy standing behind the counter with his hands in his pockets and ear buds in said, we don't install bulbs, I said I didn't ask to have it install, can you at least help me with the bulb? After which, I just walked out.

I needed a new battery pronto yesterday and after going to a nearby auto parts place, they looked at my battery and admitted they just couldn't change it for me, they didn't know how🤦🏽♀️ I went to Advanced Auto parts and not only was the price of the battery less but a young, 20-something associate named Aiden got his tools and changed my battery in under 20 minutes and was so nice and professional! Excellent service! I was very impressed and I will be back👍🏽

Workers are incredibly rude at this location, system is not updated at all. Called to get a part warrantied out recently for a part bought at a different location was told that the joliet location would have in stock. When I called to check stocking and the warranty. I was rudely told that the system did not have any transaction of sort now I am unsure of the systems are connected or not but I was hung up immediately before being able to ask if they had it in stock. Id recommend going to the bolingbrook or downers grove location for better service but if you want to be treated like a dumbass you should get your auto parts here.

How do the associates have better customer service and respect than Leadership/Management? Lead by example? Cant believe the ignorance and disrespect Yusef the store manager gave. First with hanging up the call while in mid conversation. Then my part coincidentally after almost 2 weeks of waiting gets canceled from the Hub?? Sounds like retaliation to me. Then still continued with the ignorance and attitude in store. P.I.P / Note To File. The way this economy is going, I would strongly suggest to keep the customers you can.
