I live closer to the Advance in Granite Falls but choose this store because of the management and staff which is top notch, wish I could say the same about the Granite store. The LR Blvd store is also always clean and the parts are always stocked.

The hours are still wrong. I saw a post from about 9 months ago stating that the hours of this business are wrong. I work long hours and went here after work to get a headlight so that I wouldn't get pulled over for having a light out. Wasted my trip here and wasted time that I could have went to another store before they actually closed or another store that was open so I wasted my time when their hours are posted to 9:00 p.m. but the doors were locked at 8:15. I had to drive O'Reilly's and guess what? Open.

Awful....I asked for a particular item, he said if we have it , it will be here..looks like we don't...and then he walked away....when I first went in, the girls working in the parts isle were eating, looked at me and didn't speak. I stood at the counter for three min or longer and people were lining up behind me..a person offered to check people out, at the other end of the counter. And still didn't acknowledge me..20 minutes later, they are finishing their breakfast and I'm standing in the place wondering if he went to look for my request or what.....never will I go back.....if there was a minus star they would get it.

Check engine light came on. I knew where this advance was located. So, I stopped by and they checked my car out super fast! I found out it was nothing major and was able to drive my car home. I didn't purchase anything just because I don't have the ability to repair my own car. But, for those of you able to work on your own car, they are fast, knowledgeable, and seem to be eager to help you out :)

It's been some time back, I was looking for a light bar for my truck and figured if there was a quality piece of electrical equipment that I can install myself on my truck... well there's no doubt I'll find it here. I looked around at the selection on hand for probably fifteen minutes or so until finally the young man behind the counter got all the paying customers taken care of and noticed that I didn't really know what I was looking for so he decided to walk out on the floor and give me some guidance. He asked if he could help me find something and I explained what type of truck I have and what I was going to be using it for and the kid turned out to be quite knowledgeable about the subject of off-road lighting and recommended a super nice looking unit that I would loved to have purchased..... but I told him that although I like it and it's exactly what I'm looking for, it's priced a bit out of range of my allowance and I pointed at another one that wasn't bad but much less expensive. The young man leaned in my direction and told me in a soft voice that if I would be content with the lesser light for the price.... Walmart has the exact same one for about ten dollars less than you can get it here , he said. What an admirable thing for this kid to do, I thought to myself, ... I went ahead and threw in another thirty bucks for the top shelf light bar that he suggested initially just to show my gratitude for being straight up with me....my wife will understand once I explain why it was the right thing to do. I'm still not sure who got the best deal that day but....

Don't plan on coming here especially when they close within 5 minutes. Because we had 3 minutes until 9 and the lady at the register seen us running up the front doors to grab a headlight bulb as she was just smiling at us as we walked up to the front doors to find out they lock the doors early and that was a sucks for you smile! #SucksForYou

A little less than a year ago, I took my newly-purchased used car to this Advance Auto Parts to get the battery replaced. As I watched, the man on staff struggled to get the old battery out. I mean really struggled. I've seen batteries replaced before and never had I seen someone have such difficulty. What I didn't know at the time was that by wresting with the battery and housing like he did, it's possible to cause an arc from the battery to the engine which can potentially fry a part of the transmission. I know this now, because not long after I left the Advance Auto Parts with the new battery finally installed, my car started slipping between first and second gear. I have since taken it to multiple transmission mechanics and told them the story, each one shaking their head and saying the same thing: that the guy at this Advance Auto Parts likely caused an arc and that he should have known better. I'll likely never be able to prove this or be reimbursed for the damage done to my new-used car, but I can tell you this much: I'll never get a battery installed at an Advanced Auto Parts ever again and this location has lost my business forever.

The Review that's says Sophya Charles is also mine but just left a negative review at Conover location under this account so thought I would come here to leave a positive under the same account. As stated Cody really made my day, I am up right now working on my truck and just genuinely appreciate his customer service. My frustration with advance had gotten so bad I wanted to never do business with them again. But I had always come to this location but had booked and made the mistake of continually going to the Conover one. Well yesterday I was like let me go back to the one I loved for years. Well guess what I STILL LOVE THEM!! I don't have time to waste I run a business and am very busy ...Cody just made things as they should be. Really appreciate him so much. Have a blessed day Cody!!

I went to get my battery checked. It just took a minute, very friendly staff. The man said my battery was fine. It was fully charged. He said my battery cables might be the problem, and sure enough that was it. While I was there I bought some antifreeze and some stuff to spray on my windshield to take the ice off in the mornings. I would recommend it to anybody.

My Audi needed a new battery which needed to be programmed and Larry was a big help. He changed the battery out, programmed it and put everything back together again. He was very pleasant and even changed it out in the rain for me. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this place!
