If it weren’t for Sheila and Lorne I would not have a vehicle. They are helpful, informative, and overall just a joy to work with. I have learned more the past 3 weeks about vehicles than I ever have going anywhere else. I really recommend them to anyone who needs their car worked on. You won’t be disappointed.

I have gone to Advanced Auto Repair twice now, and every time they service my car they do a fantastic job. The first time I went here was when my car was in critical condition, I came after hours and Mr. Lorne still took time to service my car. He ordered the parts and got to fixing my car. He charged me an affordable price---not an arm and a leg like other mechanics. I wish I had a mechanic like him back home! Mr. Lorne, his wife, and their whole team are very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and honest. Today I got my brakes fixed and they did it in a fast and efficient manner. I don't usually refer my friends to mechanics, because I have never had a truly good experience, but I will keep referring Mr. Lorne and Advance Auto Repair because they are not only affordable and friendly, but they are also the best at what they do.

This place was recommended to me by friends and I'm so glad I took Buckey there! Unlike most mechanics they sent me a video of what was wrong with my car and what needed to be replaced as well as why. Very professional, reasonable and realistic pricing, informative and nice. We had the best experience of our lives with this place. The owner is very intelligent, and he knows what he is doing. I highly recommend him to anyone with car problems, specially Jaguars. Lauren and his wife and his son make a team. Their honesty says it all. I have changed my vision of mechanics after dealing with this place. He worked on our car after hours, on Friday night and gave it back to us within one hour. We never expected to make it home, and we did it. They ordered the part and received it and replaced it. We thought it was something more expensive, and he said that it was not. He could have changed all parts and charged us an arm and a leg, but his integrity is untouchable. We left his place feeling blessed. Thank you!

There's no other place in Gainesville that I will leaving as satisfied as I do when Lauren and his team of mechanics work on my cars. I've been bring my cars to Lauren for 6 years and never once felt overpriced or taken advantage of. The reason i return so much is because of my car addiction and not because of the repairs they have done to my car. The attention to details is why I never go anywhere else to get my cars worked on. Once your sick of the run around, being your car to Lauren and see how your car is really supposed to perform. By the way, that's Lauren standing next to my baby. NO ONE ELSE CAN TOUCH HERE!

What a wonderful experience! Mr. Green not only diagnosed the issue quickly, but was always smiling and happy to answer any questions. His wife was gracious and sweet as can be. What a great couple these genuinely nice folks are. Came across a couple of angels masquerading around as humans. Needed A/C work on our 2015 Sienna, and knew it would be a costly repair. Called around for a few quotes and decided to go with Sheila and Lorne. Best decision I could’ve made. From the initial contact for a quote, to picking up the van, Sheila was extremely friendly and responsive to all of my calls. Our van was ready when promised, and the blast of cold air for the first time in several months was amazing 🥶. I will not hesitate to bring our vehicles here again.

They fixed my Isuzu Rodeo once. I was in the ditch early one morning. Truck shut off while my girlfriend was driving it. Wouldn't start back uo for her. Mr Lorne driving by in his tow truck saw me trying to get it going. He offered to pull it out the ditch just being a courteous kind of guy. I told him it actually isn't starting that's the real problem. So he towed it out the ditch and over to his shop to diagnose the problem. All of this was just a courtesy to a member of the community who broke down not far from his shop. Turned out to be the fuel pump. My luck couldn't have been any better that morning... So I always thought the place probably had a long waitline to look at cars that's why I never inquired here before, but no not at all. Mr Lorne proceeded to replace the fuel pump for me, and he did it all in that same day. Sheila who speaks mostly with the customers, is a wonderful lady as well. This business is honest, helpful, and valuable in our community. This is the place to go for your car troubles. I highly recommend them.

They fixed my Isuzu Rodeo not once, but twice! My truck broke down, i usually fix it myself when I am knowledgeable enough and if I have the necessary tools. But this time I just didn't have the time really. I knew my alternator was bad, but it would take me at least 2 days, maybe more like 4 days to actually do the job by myself. So my resolve? My husband and I were driving from FL to NC and suddenly our water pump blew. We searched for an open mechanic and found Advanced Auto. We rolled up at 5:30 knowing they closed at 6. They were amazing; dropped everything to make the repair and get us back on the road in an hour, and at a reasonable price. Lorne, Sheila, Charlie, and everybody were super nice. We recommend them to anyone!
