Glen was referred to me by another Mobile Mechanic , Glen from the "The Auto Doc" who also seemed to know what my problem was but was honest and told me i really needed to take my truck to a shop because the repair was going to be extensive. I had a serious brake issue and i was under pressure to get it fixed as i was only in town for a few days and i did not have enough medication , clothes etc. to go any longer and i use my truck as a hauler. When i called S & S and talked to Glens wife and told her my story, she said , bring it in as soon as you can. When i dropped off my truck and talked to Glen from S & S he said the same thing was wrong that "The Auto Doc" said and said and he could repair it for me asap due to my circumstances. And because i was stranded in the area with no family or aquaintances yet as i had just moved to the area, they even provided transportation back and forth from their shop to my new home. Glen fixed my truck and it was exactly the problem he diagnosed after hearing my story! I cannot say enough good things about all these Great People in this review. BOTH GLEN AND HIS WIFE WERE SYMPATHETIC TO MY NEED'S AND GLEN IS EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE !!! I would recommend this shop to everyone! And a shout out to Attorney Smokey Brown who did a magnificent job on my closing and recommended these fine people to me! It's Good to know there are still PEOPLE in this world and not just businesses. THANK YOU ALL !!!

My mother-in-law broke down in Columbia and had to have her vehicle towed. Tow truck driver recommended this shop. They were able to diagnose several issues. They made the repair that she could afford. They REALLY worked with us while I made arrangements to have it towed back to SE Georgia. Highly recommend this shop. Everyone was very helpful and nice. Great customer service!!!

After hitting a large object in the roadway, I wanted to make sure my car was safe to drive. When a friend from church recommended this auto shop, I was able to get in and share my concern. The shop owner himself, who also attends our church, was able to check my car and found just one minor issue. He easily fixed it and got me back on the road. I'm so appreciative of the honest service I received!! I'll definitely be back for all of my auto repair needs and will be sending others here too.

My front passenger tire started unraveling on the Interstate on my way to work this morning. I know auto repair shops stay busy so I wasn't optimistic about having my tire changed at such short notice and I especially wasn't optimistic about the price tag. Not only was Mr. Glenn able to get me in first thing this morning, but he had my car ready to go with a full new set of tires before the end of the day. I was nervous about the price but Mr. Glenn was incredibly reasonable and I genuinely don't think I could've found a better deal in the Midlands. I saw another review mention that Mr. Glenn walks you through how to treat your vehicle as a sort of preventative maintenance, and he did just that for me! All while being so kind and understanding. I didn't have a regular car repair shop before but Mr. Glenn's made a repeat customer out of me. THANK YOU, AFH Automotive!

Highly Recommend: Glenn(owner) spent many hours on an electrical problem on my wife's 2011 Lexus. He called in a friend of his who worked with Toyato who when inside to 'program' the modules. Glenn did NOT Charge me, due to the fact he did NOT know if it would work or not. I offered multiple times to give him something for his time, he denied. Most if not mechanics would charge you for their time, minimum. What I am giving him is MY Business going forward. Honest, dependable, & has a very good knowledge of foreign cars. Chris

I had to return my vehicle several times to Glenn's shop. Every time I got my vehicle back something else went wrong with it or the job wasn't completed properly. I gave this shop several chances because I blindly believed in it. My phone calls were never returned and my vehicle was held to a minimum 2 and half to 3 weeks. In the end I was forced to find another, more proficient mechanic shop.

I visited the shop after getting a recommendation from a person who had his car repaired by AFH recently and he really felt that AFH Automotive had done a great job for a very reasonable cost. I called AFH, and was able to get in quickly for same-day repair. I met the owner, Glenn, and he seemed fair, sincere, reasonable, and most importantly a person you could trust with your car. I waited a half hour for the work to be completed on my tire issue. Glenn was super nice, great to talk to, and most importantly, seemed like a person you could trust with service work. Thank you so much for your help! I now can also recommend this auto repair shop.
