I had a great experience at ALMAR Auto Repair, where I went in for a safety inspection and it was quick and easy. Though, I had to do make some changes to my car and they were very helpful in explaining what I needed to do, and I came back in the afternoon to finish the inspection. Great service overall. I am very happy with my service at Almar. My experience with auto repair facilties has always been that they promise to call you when they are done with your service. Over 50 years I can count on one hand when that actually happened. One thing that makes Almar special is that they constantly communicate. I got called 3 times during service to update the progress and get approval on obtaining parts from the Ford dealer. Then, when service was done I actually received 2 phone calls: one from the repair man and one from the owner himself. On top of all that they did an excellent job with repair. These guys are definitely different in every good way.

They did a great job getting my Chevy Trax fixed up. Brought it in with a coolant leak and check engine light. They diagnosed both problems promptly and were able to fix them. I live in NJ and my son is attending UNCC. He thought he had a dead battery and went to auto zone. Several hundred dollars and one day later, the typically reliable car died. The towing mechanic suggested it was the alternator. I had to make a rapid choice for where to have the car towed to. I came across ALMAR’s stellar ratings and decided to take a chance. Although it was after-hours, I called to leave a message explaining why there was a random car in their lot. Much to my surprise, I received a phone call later that evening from Rusty, asking about a missed call from my number. I had an idea then and there that I found a trustworthy business, and I was correct. Rusty coordinated the repair with my son, and the job was completed quickly and efficiently, for a very fair price. Rusty and ALMAR have all of my future business and I will recommend them to everyone we know in the Charlotte area without reservation. Thank you, Rusty and ALMAR!
