My husband and i were having issues with our AC in our truck, we knew it was not something extremely major but could not figure it out ourselves, so we stopped by this shop, the owner was there and he looked at our truck for just a few minutes and found the problem right away, he did not charge us for figuring it out because it was just a bad connection with our condensor fan, he tapped on it and it started back up, we went home and ordered a fan, but id like to say it was really refreshing to have such an honest shop that did not take advantage our situation :) Id recommend them for work on your vehicle because they are a very honest shop!

I'm a delivery driver for papa John's pizza. When I had car trouble, they were not the first I called. I phoned other shops around town only to be disappointed by their prices and attitudes. I have taken my vehicles in to American Auto on multiple occasions over the past few years and received some of the best automotive repair service that I have had anywhere. Radiator, heater core, electric window motor R&R, brake job, etc. The brakes on my F-150 truck work better now than they ever have. I normally do my own repairs, and was a Dodge mechanic years ago, so I am pretty picky about getting service done. I have had zero returns/call backs for any of the repairs done at American Auto.

Took my Nissan Altima to American Auto because it sounded like the motor was getting ready to blow! Jeff and his mechanic ( sorry I didn't get his name) looked at it and seen where the pulley was popping in and out of my alternator! He told me about how much it was going to cost to have it fixed so I left it with him and they had it fixed and ready to go before I got off work! Very honest and professional! And my bill was actually a little cheaper than what he even said! I DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!

My brother dropped his truck off on October 8, 2024 with Jeff at American auto. He was going to Diagnose an issue that he was having with his truck. Jeff called My Brother to come back and pick the truck up today, which is the 10th. Jeff says he could not diagnose the vehicle. My brother gets in the truck, cranks it up and come to find out the muffler and exhaust tip have been dismounted from the truck. My Brother calls, Jeff and And asks if they have any cameras, and Jeff says no. He tells My Brother that he has never had this issue before. Just want everybody to be aware that this is very unprofessional. The truck should have not been left outside. And American auto should be responsible. Beware this is not a good place to have your vehicle repaired if it has to stay overnight..

A tremendous group of honest people who care about the customer and want to do the right thing. Morals and integrity are hard to come by and these folks demonstrate great values daily. They provided me an honest quote that was fair, even reducing the manual labor hours due to certain duties not being done. Nobody else did this when I was trying to get a quote. Although I’m not typically in a situation where I need my automobile repaired, this is a top notch place and I’d go here first every time and recommend anyone to as well.

This is one of the most honest garages I have ever dealt with. They do great work and they do it quickly. The owners are extremely nice and very knowledgeable. I’ve had two of my cars worked on by Jeff, one for the alternator and one for the a/c and rear bearings. I will use them in the future without hesitation. Great garage!
