Their prices are reasonable. They were able to see me and finish the window tint job in a short period of time. However, the rear window had bubbles after a week. I called, they asked me to bring back in to fix. I came by that morning, the guy said he worked the bubbles out(after about 30 minutes). It wasn't till I got home that I realized that he did not do a good job. I would not recommend. Edit: 3->4 stars. I returned recently and they replaced the rear window tint. Looks good so far!

Brought my 2005 Hyundai Sonata for tints and 2 way alarm about 2 months ago. Best priced I received out of all the other local shops. I was hesitant because as the saying goes "you get what you pay for." I must say I was extremely happy with the job that was done. The tints looked great and the alarm worked perfect. Edgar is very helpful and kind. I just moved here from NYC and had only one car. I dropped off my car and he had one of his guys drive me home and pick me up when he was done. Amazing customer service. I just recently bought a 2013 Hyundai Sonata and brought it right back to Edgar for the same two things. Another great job done! Also my 2005 Hyundai Sonata had very very small air bubbles that never left on one of the windows and Edgar took care of that as well once I told him. Great workmanship, customer service and loyalty (They stand by their work).

Found their receipt when I bought my 2019 Mustang, with the words lifetime warranty on it. Now almost 5 years later from the original installation, when the drivers window tint went bad, I went over with the receipt and they were indeed good to their word! Kudos to the original owner for keeping the receipt, and props to AAT, I've got clean and smooth tints again, for the price of removal of the old. If that don't deserve 5 stars I don't know what does!

2nd Time going back to this Business for Window tinting. Each and every time has been quick, perfect and great quality. My first Tinted Vehicle was my Weekend Toy Jeep Wrangler. This vehicle has seen extreme weather inside and out. from sub 0 Weather up north to 110+ degree Death Valley getting beat down by the sun. The window tint looks as good as new. 4 year Review. The New Jeep just got tinted within minutes. Staff is very knowledablel and friendly. No wonder they've been there 32 years. Great Job.

I have been shopping around for a while to do window tinting on my Ford edge SUV. I wasn't even aware that American Auto Tints was so close to where I live and went in just to get some ideas and Edgar was extremely helpful and I told him I didn't have the car with me, but that I would be back another time. I just had a good feeling about him and the place and decided that's where I wanted to have the tinting done. I went this week and had it done and I could not be any more happier with the results. It's actually seamless which I understand. It should be that you shouldn't be able to see any marks from where they put the tint, but it came out absolutely great. I also want to include that the price for what I had done was Perfect. It was in the price range that I was looking for, and it was actually a little cheaper than what I had anticipated. I definitely would recommend this place and I know that if I have any issues that I can take it back and it'll be taken care of accordingly.

The worst place for tinting! Came in there with good intentions, placed SEEMED great. it wasnt until we got the car back and i noticed we had a crack in our windshield. Told us that “sometimes people don’t notice cracks until the film is placed on it”…I was offended that they thought i would actually believe that. a crack that size is noticeable. these photos were taken RIGHT we got our keys back to the car. And dont you think we wouldve noticed the crack all the way down to the black molding on the window with or without the film?? exactly. save your money people. absolutely absurd. In response to their response, we asked for our money back and wanted to keep the tint because we were the ones that are inconvenienced, how are you going to expect us to leave the shop coming for a tint and leaving with a cracked windshield with not protection? Then you wanted to tell us your cameras weren’t working all of a sudden to prove you guys didn't do anything. regardless of the cars year/age we wouldnt have bought a car with a crack to the “naked eye”. The crack was still noticeable after the tint was removed. you told us it wouldn’t be visible without the film on it but clearly it was. their first instinct was to lie to us and to tell us to get it “replaced through insurance” which is absolutely absurd to me as well. the only “red flag” here is their first response to us was to lie. Thank you again.

I had to change my review after safety concerns with a recent installation by this shop. I had them install a spare tire subwoofer since I didn't want to run the cable myself. Not only was the 0 gauge cabling I provided not used or returned to me, but rather than running the subwoofer power cable inside the car, it was run loosely under the FRAME OF THE CAR UNDER A JACK POINT! I wouldn't have known had the car not had to be jacked up to rotate tires. The wire is chafing already and I'm absolutely terrified of being ELECTROCUTED TO DEATH or dragging a wire that another car could hit! I have no idea what this shop was thinking but they clearly care more about churning cars out than customer safety! Years of customer service killed by one extremely dangerous install!

I been bring all my cars here for over 7 years and I love how the work comes out. I even come all the way from sunny isles beach because I moved out of Pembroke pines and refuse to go anywhere eles. They honored their life time warranty and make sure you are fully happy with your car before you leave or if you have any problems. I had my drone on me and I’m licensed pilot so I took some legal drone picture while I waited today

This review is long overdue. In January of 2020 we drove down from Orlando in my wife’s brand new Model 3 for the weekend to visit our old stomping grounds when we were in college. We remembered going to American Auto Tints years and years ago to get work done on my Ford Expedition and we decided to stop by and say Hi. Needless to say they ended up giving us a killer deal on tinting the model 3 and we left it immediately and took an Uber to our destination. I called them and got a same day appointment for t my car. They were super professional and friendly. The lady at the front desk explained everything about the different types of tints, cost, warranty, advantages and disadvantages. The time they told me it would take was very accurate, so I sat and waited. I would totally get my windows tinted here again. I got the carbon tint with the lifetime warranty. Get a lifetime WARRANTY! she said that it doesn't warranty against fading or turning purple. Research says the carbon tint does not fade over time. It has only been 2 days so I cannot clean it, but so far it looks great.

Had our F150’s Twin panel sunroof tinted here. They suggested a ceramic tint. They laser cut the tint based of the make and model of my truck. Now we can keep the sun shade off in the day and we don’t feel the burn of the sun. Our fur baby approves their Work. Quick in and out and perfect every time. They have tinted 4 of our vehicles and always a pleasure to work with. It really keeps the heat out of the truck.
