I was rear ended, first the owner saw my vechile he said it should be totaled. I was told by the receptionist that the insurance approved my 1/4 panel to be replaced. I drove by 2 days later and saw my truck outside covered in bondo. When I questioned them. I told that the damage wasn't as bad as they thought and they put it on a frame puller. I picked my truck up after they said the work was done. It was absolutely ridiculous! Very poor quality of work! Huge gap under my taillight, body lines didn't match up, bottom of the 1/4 panel was flat, paint didn't match, lift gate was they replaced on my truck with one that was damaged so badly they had to Bondo it and moved my latches to try to get it to close properly and it still didn't, I had to slam it to it to close and it still didn't seal and wasn't water tight. The bumper that was put on my truck didn't even match up, the step pads didn't snap on properly. There was also a noise from the rear end of my truck, the shop said they couldn't find the problem. My husband looked at it found that the noise was my driver's side rear shock and bracket and been damaged in the wreck. I contacted the shop numerous times about the issues and was told I had to talk to the insurance company, the insurance company said I had to talk to the shop. So finally I 3way the shop with the insurance company on the phone and they were told that the issues had nothing further to do with the insurance and they needed to fix it. Finally after arguing with the owner, he agreed to see my truck. My husband and I took my vechile to him and he kept apologizing about the poor quality of work and guaranteed it would be fixed to my satisfaction. I left my truck with them for the work to fixed properly. I went to inspect my vechile after some repairs before paint and inquired about the lift gate and was told that he would try to have it replaced. I also spoke with the owner, Pat about an email that his receptionist sent to my insurance company stating that I was harassing them and lying about the work on my vechile. The owner said he would also address the issue. I picked my truck back up from the shop. The lift gate was never replaced, the lift gate still has to be slammed in order to close. The Bondo work is better, but body lines still do not match up. The shock and bracket were never replaced. My husband picked up my vechile, while I was unavailable, and the work is still far from quality work. I have pictures of all stages of the work done. Wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone! Absolutely horrible and very unprofessional!!!!

Showed up 3 times to see if they are car guys, their paint looks good from the road, they don’t want to paint any of my cars for some reason. Just sat there when I said I have 8 cars to paint and their work looks good. That’s enough for me to figure out fount get involved with this business and the way they treat possible customers. Acted like I was some homeless guy .... awesome

A true one stop shop for anything automotive related. I have dealt with Pat and his team for several years and their work is always top notch. He’s done paint and body work for me, paint less dent repair, paint protection film and most recently, a wrap on my hood. They have also done a lot of mechanical work for me. Everything is done to a super high standard and the service is top notch. You will not find a better shop to deal with in this area, I can promise that.

I had my truck lowered by these guys. After it was lowered i kept getting a vibration. I took a long trip and got it up to higher speeds and the truck feels like its about to come apart. I feel it is unsafe. I made an appointment at their convenience. I actually work across the street. It set outside for most of the morning. They took it for a ride. Then it set for a couple more hours. I finally emailed and asked if they found anything. They said it was fine. It just seemed like they did not want to mess with it. Now I have to spend more money to figure out what is wrong. It is not exhaust droning. I was hoping for them to stand behind their work.

ABM replaced my front rotors/pads and changed out my front springs to a performance spring on my CLS63 AMG and they did a great job! They made me feel as if my car was the only one in the shop. The overall experience was effortless and Pat, the owner is a true Professional! In my past, finding a shop that puts more attention on QUALITY over Quantity is tough to find….I was able to find that with American Body Works. Pat and the team have worked on 3 of my cars from all aspects – the roughest my car was this year after the hail storms which now looks flawless. The type of service they give speaks volume for the type of cars they work on. They were very detailed and explained everything upfront.. I even over heard them telling a customer that with their car having old paint which is faded and rusting, the piece they will replace will look off due to it being a brand new coat of paint. No surprises and I have referred close to 10 people here and they all love it. The lady at the front was really amazing and very polite.

Dropped by the shop to get an estimate on having a few small and one good sized dent taken out of my truck. I was scheduled for a week out and I was good with that. The shop called me 30 minutes later and said they could do it that day. I dropped it off at 130pm and picked it up at 500pm. The work was impeccable. I couldn't be happier. This place is awesome. Shana is a badass. She always has excellent communication and transparency. I've taken 2 vehicles, three times in 3 years.They always knock it out of the park. This is easily the best body shop in all of dfw, hands down. Also, they don't work for any insurance company so they will actually fight to get your vehicle back to perfect. My first experience with American Body Works was when someone backed into my Corvette in a restaurant parking lot. They felt so bad about it that they insisted that I take my Corvette to Pat at American Body Works. They literally came into the restaurant and found me and insisted on returning my Corvette to mint condition. They were so sincere that I trusted them and took it there. The repairs were so perfect that I could not tell it had ever been damaged. Since then I have sent numerous friends and family there and the results have been outstanding every time. My elderly aunt's car is there right now and the level of customer service has been fantastic. Shana the office manager is exceptionally good at what she does. She wrestles with insurance companies every day to ensure that all necessary repairs are completed. Their prices are very fair and reasonable unless you ask an insurance company of course. I have very high expectations and they exceed my expectations every time. I give you the highest level of assurance that they will take great care of you and your vehicles.
