This is kind of a hole in the wall but they are quick and I've been using them for years. They are extremely old-school, for example it's $12 cash only with no change for an inspection. However they are probably one of the quickest vehicle inspection places in the Northland.

Been trying for 3 wks they say get here early but they are never here i have waited 2 to 3 hrs here after open time they are never here/open waited till 10 before and no one appears rediculous for a business to run this way

Online says they are open and I’m sitting in front of the shop and they are not. It’s 10 am on a Thursday. Need to update business hours online. I’ve seen 5 other cars pull into also trying to get service. No one is here or answering the phones.

This quirky little shop is a cash-only establishment. I have been coming back for fifteen years. At eight in the morning they are just opening up and there will generally be people waiting. High traffic from customers with easy access to the interstate (I-35). No appointment necessary, first come, first served, but if full they may turn you away. This shop certainly isn't hurting for business. Some may feel like it isn't their cup of tea. As a taste of local business I would tell them to just go to a dealership. No wifi, no Google pay, no ApplePay, no credit card, no debit card (those services do cost more than some businesses are going to pay) CASH ONLY $12 . Remember that please and thank you might not come naturally for us, but here a bit of humble human politeness can go a long way. The inspector showed me one time (2017) someone was trying to steal my catalytic converter and then where to fix it.

Lately they are randomly open and more times then not are not... it makes it difficult to try and get your cars in for inspections. They need to empty their Voicemail or just have Voicemail not an option. Please update your Google listing to give customers an honest set of hours and days you are open.

Well, worth the wait. I didn’t mind the two hour wait when there was a line of people in order to get a good inspection. Robbie Is the inspector and he’s as even-keeled and honest as you can get. Kris Is professional and courteous. I was there at 8 AM and she was bubbly. You just don’t get that anymore. Somebody please give them both a raise.

Refused to inspect my car, treated me like shit for asking why they cant inspect my 2002 VW Beetle. Will never recommend anyone to go here. Wish I would have asked the ladies name so I could call her out.

Rude staff. Waited three hours and realized they forgot about us. Called to see what was going on and it was clear after we watched several people come and go before us that they forgot as when i called, some papers shuffled and she said “oh youre… next”. Would love a refund that im not gonna get 🤬 Super scummy

Have shown up here multiple days in a row and you don’t open for business at all. No sign, no communication. Every morning you have a large group of people waiting HOURS for your business…. To not open at all! Google says you’re open . We make plans out of our days to come to your business that doesn’t open its doors. Do you check your cameras ? Do you see 20-30 people waiting for you to every morning at 7 am for you to open? Your customers time is important to them and we try to give you our time $ money. Such a Poor way to operate a business. Let alone in 2025 . We went to OCEANS on Brighton !!! They take appointments! And our time wasn’t wasted for a 4th day in a row.

This is the second vehicle? My husband has taken to this inspection station to try to get inspected the hours. Say they open at 8 AM it is now 845 and no one is there. There is no sign on the door and you can’t leave a message on their voicemail we will be finding some other place to get our inspections done. This is ridiculous. What kind of business are you running?

Upon updating I will add 2 Stars or remove 2 stars. I used to bring the first car I ever owned to this business for inspections. Never had a problem. Drove my current vehicle 20 minutes just to specifically support this shop. Arrived around 11:30am and they were closed. 2 other vehicles had pulled in before me and left. As I was leaving, another person drove in and of course, followed me out after realizing that they were closed. The hours are listed online as well as on the window. I suggest you follow these listed hours so your customer's aren't forced to go elsewhere with money that should be yours. Company has answered the phone since then and they are super nice. I just hope they understand that we just want them to be open when they say they're open. Update: I showed up at the time they told me to show up. 8am Monday morning. This time I was told it would be a 2 hour wait. I am a mechanic. It does not take that long to do a $12.00 inspection. I'm trying to get my tags not rebuild my truck. Ended up going to 59th and prospect. Didn't even have to get out of the truck. Vehicle inspection passed in under 10 minutes. Got my tags before the expected wait time expired at this location. Stop trying to find things for you to repair for more money. Inspect only. I'm watching
