Thank you to Scott's Automotive Repair Shop! My truck needed the carburetor replaced, but before any work was conducted my options were laid out expertly by Conrad. The shop took the time to diagnose the problems I was having and provide me with good honest feedback throughout the entire process. Future recommendations based on my direction with the truck were also offered, good references, and great advice. I have been there three times over the past few years and every time they do a great job. Scott and Horacio are honest and pleasant men. I used to have a favorite mechanic for 15 years that I would drive 30 minutes to, but since he retired, I found this place. My old mechanic will still take me as needed, but Scott's has been good too me and I fell comfortable knowing they aren't good and honest.

I have to give a shoutout for the amazing service I received yesterday at Ascendant Automotive in Lake Forest. I went in for an oil change and they fixed my dented bumper for free. I’ve been going there for about 10 years (it was previously Scott’s Automotive, but his employees bought it from him when he retired) and have always received great service at a great price. A few years ago I had to get a tire replaced and the guy told me I needed a new serpentine belt and a few other repairs that added up to about $700, I took it to Scott’s to double check and the only thing I needed was a $27 oil change.

An honest mechanic is like gold. I was going to Scott's and he was great but a few years ago he sold to his employees. I was a little apprehensive at first but soon realized that these guys not only new their stuff but were very honest. Nahu, the owner, is a Mechanic I can trust, He has worked on my car, and kept it running. My 2000 ,Subaru Outback would limp or be towed to his shop, I would fear the worst, and yet, within short order, I would drive it out with it handling like new. Honest, Reasonable and helpful.
