This visit, unlike my previous visits to Auto Doctors, was just for an oil change plus anything else recommended or found to be necessary. They quickly found (and showed me) that an essential bolt was broken, so I authorized the repair. Service was still very quick, as always the folks were genuinely friendly, and I will be back next time my car needs (or wants) any service they can provide.

My girlfriends car had an oil leak, we found one spot, brought it in and they found another, and tried to charge about $800 for a $70 (on the high end) part and the rest labor, they charge rates higher than dealerships while marking up parts 50-100%. Do not come here. Awful.

My car was in the shop last week. It was taken care of promptly and professionally. The fluids had never been changed so that was done when the mechanic asked about it because he didn’t see a record of it. It was overdue by many miles and i appreciate the attention to details.

Trust is so important with mechanics. At my recent visit, Auto Doctors said I needed to replace my spark plugs (about $500), but they were practically new. In fact, Auto Doctors was the shop who had replaced them. I won’t be going back.

This is not my first time or first vehicle dealing with Auto Doctors of Overland Park. They are professional, knowledgable, thorough and very reliable. They can handle everything from an oil change to a rusted out engine mount, gas only and hybrid. And they are pleasant and responsive. They us high quality parts that are warrantied for manufacturing failures. That means that you don't pay rock bottom bargain basement prices. But it also means that a repair by Auto Doctors is a quality repair, with OEM quality parts, and done by knowledgable mechanics and technicians. I have nothing but good things to say about Auto Doctors of Overland Park. The company is run by committed and caring people. They know your name and what car you drive when you walk in the door. I would not consider going anywhere else.

My experience with the Auto Doctor team was very positive. Tanner is very knowledgeable and helped me prioritize repairs without being pushy. The team was quick to fit me in, despite it being the holidays, and even attempted to find me a loaner car, although that didn't work out. They slightly underestimated the cost of one item, but offered to absorb the additional expense if I thought that was just. Their updates were timely and the explanations they provided for each repair item were thorough. Despite a hefty repair bill, which was justified, I was pleased with how the repairs went.

They are very good at diagnosing issues. Took my Hyundai Elantra in for oil change, tire rotation and asked about the front hood not flush with the body. They did the research, figured out the solution and it now fits flush with no gap to the body. Even the Hyundai dealer hadn’t found the solution to this common problem!

Drop 2017 A6 for a yearly checkup. This isn’t an inspection for plate renewals but a bumper to bumper check for anything needing immediate attention and anything that might need taken care of in the near future. And that exactly what the mechanics of Auto Doctors did. They checked vehicle top to bottom, front to back. All findings of the inspection were documented in a email, with pictures to illustrate the issues. The email also included severity of the problem and recommendations for repair. Been coming here for just over 2 years and couldn’t be more satisfied. Their pricing is fair in my opinion, honestly I don’t shop around. So maybe it’s high but when it comes to making sure my vehicle is running correctly and safely, well I don’t think I can put a price tag on that. I know that all work provided comes with a level of professionalism, accuracy, and accountability. And I don’t mind paying for that one bit.

I went in for brakes to be replaced, to not only find out they were completely unsafe. Needing to be fixed not only did they treat me respectfully and kindly when I was waiting for hours because that was my only car, they even took me to the store so I can buy a phone charger. Because my phone was dying and tanner the manger I think was super realistic with the pricing , and everything going on. I was able to drive safely back home and see my parents and my car has never been driving this smooth! Thank you all for helping me out

I recently came in for an oil change appointment, and the service was both quick and affordable. The entire experience was excellent. Tanner was at the front to great me and to help finish everything at the end of the appointment. He was incredibly kind and honest. He informed me of several recommended services, but the way he presented the information was truly helpful: he had everything listed by priority with estimated costs. I never once felt pressured to agree to the additional services, which is something I deeply appreciate in an auto shop. Unfortunately, I know my car has a lot of maintenance ahead of it if I want it to last for the long haul. Fortunately, I now know the Auto Docs crew will take great care of me when I bring it back for those bigger jobs. Thank you for the wonderful, honest service!

I cannot say enough good things about my first experience with Auto Doctors. From my initial phone call, to the appointment, to the customer service it was beyond what I’ve experienced at other shops. Smooth and hassle free. They helped me with an extended warranty process, showed me all results of the work that was done and provided me with a list of items to keep an eye on for future repairs. While my car was being worked on, they were making the calls to the warranty provider to get utilize it for the repairs. I waited in the lobby and one of the things that impressed me the most was their honest pricing. Vehicle repairs are expensive and time consuming. Plain and simple. But they delivered prices to multiple people over the phone provided reasoning as to why the cost would be as quoted. When going over some of the aspects of my vehicle to keep an eye on, they made sure to tell me ways to do things myself to avoid higher costs from taking it to a shop. Auto repairs aren’t fun especially if they’re unexpected. But Auto Doctors will take the time to help people understand the most effective way to get back on the road. 10/10 recommend to anyone needing some work done. Thanks again!

I hope this helps someone else. Don’t go here to get your alarm system fixed or replaced, or taken out. Don’t waste your time and rush to an audio and alarm system specialist. My car’s alarm was going crazy because it has a faulty aftermarket system. I explained that from the start. The lady upfront said they wouldn’t charge much or maybe not at all, if the issue was easy to find or self-explanatory. Instead, they charged me $160 plus tax (about $180) just to “check and test” it. Couldn’t find a real solution or fix, just told me it would need to be removed. They basically repeated what I had already told them and then quoted me around $1,110 to remove it in 4-5 hours of labor according to their Google search. I went to a different audio and stereo specialist with 20 years of experience who was able to handle it in an hour without trying to charge me $1k. If you look on Google, $1k is overcharged for an alarm system removal 100%! Honestly, if they saw it was aftermarket by looking at the key fob or just looking at the system’s module and didn’t know how to deal with it, they should’ve just said that from the start instead of charging me almost $200 to tell me what I already knew. I think since they couldn’t do anything about it they wanted to gain whatever $$ they could out of me. 😐
