Excellent service - Shawnee location should come here as a class and take notes. Bryant R. Got me an absolute steal on my new tires and wheels, I called around prior, no one is beating discount tire on price, or service of new tires. ended up having a blowout 2 days later and went above and beyond to find the one tire replacement in shop that other employee was unable to find Alejandro N. Also provided excellent service when I followed up to get my spares tire replaced. Went above and beyond. No, they aren't perfect, but they will make it right for you. That's really all you can ask.

Went in again after getting 4 tires installed to fix four bad sensors and get an alignment. Everything went fine, I drove off and went to do some errands, then I realized a hard drive was missing from my center console. I searched all over for it and I couldn't find it. I went back to the shop and told them about it, they said it "accidentally" fell out of my car and gave it back. I was gone for 30 minutes, no calls about it, didn't mention it before I left the shop that it fell out. I would never go here again, they have a thief on staff.

It's been a while since I visited but I visited years ago. I went in to get my tires replaced because a misalignment made have my tire smooth like butta. Well, I went in and came out with new rims and tires and boy lemme tell you, my baby was looking sseeexxxyyy! They did an amazing job with her and for a great price too.

I met Bryant here today after a flat trailer tire. I am extremely pleased with his knowledge and his Customer Service skills. He jumped on my situation right away. Got me great information. He’s part of a well trained team. What I really appreciate is that they take the time to make sure everything is right. I’m just a number elsewhere. I appreciate that they don’t have a Just get me out the door as fast as I can so they can go home tonight attitude! Great shop!

Tired popped on me yesterday so I took my car here. They were the only place to answer the phone and when I got up there the service was unmatched. They’re prioritized my safety and really took care of me. I’m forever thankful. They got a customer for life out of me.

I experienced a blowout on the interstate and was able to make it to the Discount Tire on Metcalf Ave. in Overland Park with the spare tire. Needed a new tire and wheel. Everyone in the store was polite, professional, and extremely helpful to get me back on the road with a new tire and wheel more promptly than I had expected. This experience truly exceeded my expectations and provided further proof that Discount Tire is my go-to place for tires!!

Edit: I was contacted by the store manager and he explained in depth how sensors work and everything, but he also replaced a sensor that was bad and replaced my tire which was making a noise, so a happy result in the end, sucks I had to submit a bad review for it to get taken care of though. Got my tires changed here last week and now the TPMS sensor is on, went in to see if they could fix it and was told its my issue and not theirs and will be $63 per sensor.... more than I paid for the tires. Sensors worked fine before I went here, so no it is not my issue, but regardless I won't be coming back here and you should not give them your business.

Bought tires online and paid for everything but apparently the pricing online isn’t accurate or honored so they make you pay extra when you bring your car in to get new tires or anything online I guess. Weird not to honor the online pricing… Update: was provided a solution to my issue and reflecting in my review.

Don’t trust the face value, confirm yourself. I dropped a wheel for tire puncture repair with Caleb about 1pm, was told it will be ready to pickup 4:30. Called to confirm at 3:45, spoke with Alex who said that my tire is taken off and they are fixing it, that it will be ready at 4:30. I came 4:40, had to wait over 30min to get the wheel put back on, only to find out the next day that it was never fixed - yes, same silver screw in same spot with same air leakage. Sure some will say no biggie just drop it off again. I am a busy guy, i had to rearrange my afternoon to be able to get that back and forth. Not only i was lied to when i called to confirm, when i picked it up Caleb confirmed that its plugged and patched. Today i call and his answer is „I thought it was fixed…”, well Caleb, these are your guys doing the job, its your job to confirm… I was going to get full set of tires there but will just get it elsewhere. Thanks for wasting my time and damaging your reputation.

The staff working the Thursday night shift (11/6) at the 11640 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS store offered stellar service and installation. Very attentive and we even talked a bit after the install as I installed a different OEM wheel/tire setup. Will be back for the replacements when needed. Price match was on point as well. Easy process and bought the tires right after approval.

Today I had a very disappointing experience at the Lenexa location, but I'm very happy with the North OP location! Several weeks ago, I called Lenexa to inquire about pricing for swapping a set of tires onto my rims. I was given a quote of ~$280. This was a reasonable quote to dismount 10 total tires, then remount & balance 5 tires. After the call, I went online to schedule my appointment for that service two weeks later. Today, when I arrived for my appointment, the Lenexa associate told me that my total was going to be ~$410... I was confused. I explained that I had called before scheduling and had received a quote for $280. The associate told me he was sorry, and he couldn't be sure who I spoke with, but there was nothing he could do because the prices are fixed. So I canceled my appointment and immediately called the North Overland Park location. I did not explain the situation to them because I was curious how they would quote it. They priced the service at ~$250 and told me they had a walk-in available, so I drove straight there, and they had my work finished in 45 minutes. Despite being disappointed by the Lenexa location, I'm thankful that Discount Tire did end up getting it right at the North OP location! Shoutout especially to an associate named Bobby, who said he was filling in at that store today, but he was great to work with and made everything quick and easy!

Alex really helped us out in a time crunch yesterday. I called and needed 2 new tires put on unexpectedly. They pulled up the tires I had previously purchased from them, had them sent over from another store, put them on, did an alignment, rotate and balance all within a few hours so we could have our vehicle back before the end of the work day. Very appreciative!

Besides having about the best price for the tires I needed this was a good business experience -- #1 They can do your work while you wait and they have a large waiting area or there are coffee & food places in that center to wait. #2 Their employees seem to enjoy working there and that is a great sign of a well managed business.

This location will not actually help you! And will hang up on you when you call for answers! And don't keep records or notes of what they did do to your car in the first place! Went in Saturday morning to fix a flat. Specifically asked them to check for tire damage, and to check for rim damage. Because it was a brand new tire. And I didn't understand why it's going flat. They sent me out the door thirty minutes later without any explanation of what they even did. I checked my tire 6 hours after leaving the shop (unfortunately after they were closed already) and it was flatter than it had been before I brought it in to them that morning. Didn't take it anywhere else til this morning (monday), where Ford informed me that I had a nail in the tire. If discount had checked the rims and tire for any real damage, like I explicitly asked them to, why didn't they find the nail? I would have given discount tire my money for a replacement instead of going to ford. Called them today to ask if there's record of what even they did, worker Alex put me on hold after saying they probably didn't make any notes, and then left me on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up on me (I heard the receiver pick up so I thought someone was gonna finally speak to me, but nope. Click. Guess I don't get any answers.) I normally am a big fan of discount tire but y'all have lost me. I'll go to Big O or Ok Tire from now on.

Stephen and Alex were amazingly helpful. I was expecting some fairly intense repairs, and they were able to put me at ease with it just being a couple tires and alignment. They had me in and out in a couple hours with no appointment. Would definitely come back to these guys!

The location on metcalf is absolutely HORRIBLE! I waited a hour just for them to tell me they can’t do my wheel alignment due to my rear wheel doesn’t fit. Didn’t give me any other alternatives just simply stated they can’t fix it. I wouldn’t mind if I had to pay for another rim considering the fact I already spent $98 on the alignment that they refunded me but he didn’t say anything at all. I will never come to this location ever again. Discount tires in independence is way better & gave me options instead of turning down a paying customer.

Had some tire issues and went to my car dealer for a check. Found out there was a screw in one of my tire that could be repaired. However, because they were all booked out and won’t be able to get it done soon even might not be ready within the same day. The service adviser actually recommended me to give a try at Discount Tire to save me money and time. I was a bit hesitant, because I haven’t used them before and worried if they will get things done right. The last thing I wanted at this moment was to get things worse. Because of the urgency, I gave it a try and I’m glad I did. They got my job done for about an hour, and it was free for a tire repaired! They have 3 garages and many technicians were working at each of them. Lots movement happening in each of the garages. I saw many cars were working there, but the store was not too crazy. The staff who helped me was very friendly and helpful. He asked me couple questions and walked me to my car to check all my tires. The whole process was quick and easy. No wonder the store wasn’t crazy and loud as some other ones. The shop was surprisingly very clean and bright, which is a plus. Honestly, one of the things that always prevents me to go into an auto shop is the atmosphere there and its environment. I understand that usually that may not be an important thing to consider for an auto shop, but sometimes it can be very intimidating and unwelcome to some people, just like me. However, they didn’t make me feel that way at all. The customer service was very nice. The system they used was very streamline. Once they put you in their system, the computer will show you the real time status of the car which is in service. They also sent me a link through text right away, and I could check the status of my car whenever I want. Definitely, better than some of the dealership links. The shop was in a shopping plaza close to McDonald’s, Taco Bell and Mochinut. Wholefood was also close by across the road, which is nice because I could walk around to get some coffee to wait for my car to be done. The tire repaired was done about an hour, and I got to get back to work right after and not delay for too long. I will definitely recommend this place for my family and friends. P.S There are also some charging stations next to the shop. The customer service, the quick turnaround, and the clean facility—they definitely know how to do business! Highly recommended.

Bryant is an outstanding representative for your company. He does not oversell, and does not overpromise, so from the many times I have dealt with him I know what he tells me is honest and accurate. Bryant knows quality is important to me so when I brought up the issue that the new valve stems were too short which would make it difficult to air up with hub caps, he understood and took care of it within 45 minutes the next day. I used to deal with a store much closer to my home (Shawnee) but after many visits that store showed me poor service (almost always a tire or two was out of balance) and poor attitudes. Since switching to the Metcalf store where Bryant works I have only interacted with respectful employees, and any problems were always promptly taken care of. Kudos to former Manager Jack, and also to current sales person Samuel, as well as Bryant. Thank you!

Fundamentally a great experience. I guess I'd bought a certificate on a tire that was destroyed, so I didn't have to pay for it—only for the certificate for the new tire. Initially people were really nice at the front counter. Unfortunately the curly-haired gentleman who somewhat resembled the film actor Jesse Eisenberg, was, again, quite friendly at first, yet inexplicably extremely rude at the end. I had gotten a text message that my car was ready. I just went to the counter where he was standing—not attending anyone; I innocently told him that I'd gotten a message that the car was ready. He rudely snapped at me that the mechanic had been just bringing the car out. He said it as if I'd been incredibly demanding or something. I simply hadn't known from the text message what to do. It soured And otherwise pleasant experience considerably. Fortunately, the mechanic who brought me the car was, to say the least, quite pleasant (he seemed to be Hawaiian somehow). The people at the front counter were ultimately less than savory in their attitude. Otherwise, The experience was near perfect: short wee time, initially polite counter stakk, and excellent work from the garage.
