Mike, Zachary and the team bend over backwards to make sure my car was done right and in time! Great customer service is their goal! I would not trust my car anywhere except with Sal’s AutoER.

Came in for a brake inspection and was given a free full auto diagnostic so I knew what needed my attention and what I could plan to complete in the future. Mike was very straightforward and gave me an affordable quote for my vehicle.

Mike was extremely professional and helpful. I’m an elderly woman with little knowledge of automotive issues. Mike did not try to sell me anything I didn’t need or take advantage of my naivety. He check my automobile and just did what was required, also giving me suggestions on future items. It’s hard to find someone like Mike nowadays. I would highly recommend this business and will continue to give him my business in the future. Thank you Mike

While traveling toward Lake City, I heard a tapping noise which sounded like it was coming from one of the tires. I pulled into Auto ER and had them check the tires. One had a screw stuck in the tire. They took care of me promptly, and had me on my way. Excellent staff. Very clean and organized waiting area. I highly recommend them.

This place is one of the best in Gainesville. It was recommended to me and I definitely do not regret coming here. I got an oil change and was in and out in just under an hour. Not to mention I called the day before for a last minute appointment and they got me in the next day. The staff is kind and professional. Very easy to talk to and don’t try to push sales on you. Not to mention you get a text update letting you know who is working on your car. I am overall a very happy customer and will be making this my place for the foreseeable future for any concerns that come up regarding my automotive care.

My family and I were traveling from far Northeast Georgia to Orlando. We were literally getting off exit 390 for a pit stop when my truck began to stall and overheat. I Googled “mechanic,” and they popped up. I coasted in and told them what happened. They immediately diagnosed the problem, fixed the issue, and provided excellent customer service. Most places would take advantage of an out-of-towner, but they allowed us to enjoy the rest of our trip and pick it up on the way home. I wish we had places like this in my town! A++++++

Be careful taking your car here I was misdiagnosed paid 1,300 to fix my car. After 1,300 I was told I needed about 5,000 more worth of work done and still may not be fixed. I asked from day one if my engine was blown and was told it was fixable. I ended up trading the car in for 1,000 so lost the full 1,300 all because they made a mistake.

Had my car towed here because my tire flew off on I75. Once it got there they right away ordered parts for it. The waiting area was very nice and clean They even offer drinks and snacks for free. Also restroom was very clean. The manger and employees were very nice. Essentially the manager was very nice and always making sure I was okay. They fixed my car and I was able to go back home in Georgia. Thank u.

The only ER you’ll actually enjoy visiting—Auto ER on NW 97th Blvd in Gainesville, FL! Mike, the manager, went above and beyond with incredible attention to detail. He took the time to educate my teen daughter so she feels confident and safe on the road, and even let my younger daughter safely watch the service—it turned a routine car visit into a family-friendly experience. This shop is built on honesty, integrity, and kindness. And the waiting area? Amazing—great music, snacks, drinks, and none of that “auto shop smell.” For service that keeps your car (and your family) safe, Auto ER is the place to go!

Honda told me I needed a few repairs costing around $2,800 (with discounts). I came here to compare prices, but they asked to inspect the car for free. After inspecting, the mechanic assured me that my car was perfectly fine and didn’t need any repairs/maintenance. It’s nice to find trustworthy people these days. Thank you.

I came in only for an engine oil change. During my visit, I was given a long list of recommended repairs, including rear brake pads and rotors, suspension components, shock absorbers, wheel alignment, and an air filter, totaling several thousand dollars. I understand that shops may point out items to monitor for the future. However, I felt uncomfortable with how strongly some of these were presented as “necessary for safety,” especially since I am in the process of selling the car and did not request a full inspection. In particular, wheel alignment was recommended even though we replaced all four tires just three months ago. After I clearly stated that I would not proceed with the additional work, the attitude felt noticeably less friendly. I was also uncomfortable when the cash I paid was held up and examined to check if it was real — something I found surprising and even a bit laughable, as it was my first time experiencing this in over three and a half years of living in the U.S. Transparency and maintenance recommendations are important, but professionalism and consistent customer treatment matter just as much. I hope this feedback is helpful for improving future customer interactions.

They were wonderful! They had an appointment for the next day (which is amazing considering the type of work they do), when I got there for my appointment they were on top of everything! Their price was very reasonable for their service! Everyone was so kind and professional! They had complimentary snacks and beverages.

Excellent experience. I brought my car in at noon and they were able to get the needed part same day, make the repair, and I picked it up at 5:30. The price was lower than competitor quotes. Very happy and will definitely return for my auto maintenance/repair needs.

My first experience with Auto ER was amazing. My car was towed in, I later spoke with Mike and Brandon ( extremely knowledgeable and helpful and understanding) about my check engine light on. They recommend a diagnostic test to determine what’s wrong with my car. My car warranty declined repairs and guess what: Mike worked with me on the repairs. The repairs done was engine work: gasket, spark plugs etc. Long story short. When I arrived to pick up my car WOW!!! I liked the red carpet treatment, being an elderly with use of a cane every one was so courteous, and offered free snacks (chips, sodas and coffee). To all reading tell your friends and family come on down and check out Auto Er for your car needs. There Great!!! And you’ll be happy when do. I’m a beyond satisfied customer.

I was on my way through town to Tampa when my 21’ motorhome encountered issues while driving on Interstate 75 (issue with rear differential, but it felt like an issue with front passenger side which was pulling to the right). The tow company suggested Auto ER. I explained that I am stranded here unless this is fixed. They indicated bearings on right front, and brakes dragging (I had them inspected 6 months ago) requiring new brakes, calipers, rotors and if that was the case I agreed to both passenger and driver side. At first I was happy to get in , with promise that they would get me out and on the road. I sat around all day watching the crews working on the own projects, possibly own cars. While at first we waited on parts to arrive. It wasn’t until late in the day that they pulled my vehicle into the bay and we kept hearing a snap, and clunk during sharp turns. I was informed that they can’t lift or get under my vehicle to review, but it might stop with the front work completed. One technician started working on the brakes. He was pretty good, and he also reported there was nothing wrong with the bearings (why the hell am I having this work done?). I was charged under $2k. While he worked on my vehicle the other techs set up chairs and stood in front of horsing around” slowing down the effort. By the time the work was complete, and the test drive to confirm issue was not fixed, and I couldn’t drive it, the shop was closing and I had no ride to get a rental vehicle. I had to get a Lyft to Enterprise, rent a vehicle, return to the shop and unload items from motorhome. I was told that they had a shop across town that could lift this motorhome, and it had to be towed. It should have been towed there in the first place. However, they couldn’t even fix it (couldn’t find a replacement differential), and it had to be towed to a 3rd shop. I feel that the issue that left me stranded was never addressed and I was taken advantage of due to my stranded situation. I would have been very happy if they actually diagnosed the issue, and not replaced expensive parts that were not the issue.
