They fixed a problem with my truck. I had a switch issue with the back of my clutch pedal. The guys there cleaned it up. They squared me away. They were honest about it. They didn't give me any sort of run around. They identified the problem quickly. They did not charge me a ton for the work. Their honesty is greatly appreciated. If I ever need work done again, I will definitely take my vehicle there again.

I was visiting from out of state and my car completely shut off on me (dead, no lights and couldn’t put into neutral) at an intersection at 9:30 at night. I called AAA and they recommended I get it towed to this shop. When they called me in the morning they were nice enough and I explained the issue and that the tow truck driver thought it was the alternator so I asked them to check that out and get it running so I could drive home. When they called back later to discuss what they found I was quoted over $1700 for a new battery ($458) spark plugs, loose bolts on exhaust and a leaking gasket on my rear axle. I asked for the breakdown and never once was told about a $270 charge for them to just look at the car (I would have taken it somewhere else at that point) they knew I was from out town and I am 100% convinced they took advantage of this knowing I was stuck. When I came to pick up my vehicle I was informed my total was over $750. When I inquired about the price difference that is when I was told about the $270 charge and then of course paid almost $500 for the battery (costs $135 at Autozone for same battery) I asked about my discount for AAA and was told it had already been applied (but didn’t tell me how much it was) upon me expressing how outrageous the charges were and that they were not upfront with me in the beginning I was then told the price was “dropped down” to $669. I do not believe this shop is honest or upfront with their prices and really overcharged me because of my situation. I would definitely price check before taking your vehicle here.

I was so thankful that my friends referred me to AUTO INTENSIVE CARE II when my SCAD student was having car issues. They were very professional, personable, honest and great at explaining everything to me. It’s so nice to have honest mechanics in the area while I’m out of State. Lynn was amazing and so are their mechanics. I’d highly recommend them and they’re very close to SCAD so your kiddos can quickly drop off their vehicle. They were fast with her repairs and I had a lot done. I loved that they physically showed me what’s wrong with the car. It meant a lot that they took the time to do this. Thank you A1!!

Auto Intensive Care in Garden City knocked it out of the park. Lynn was fantastic from the start — she verified that they could do the job, gave me a timeline for when it should be done, kept me updated every single day, and made the whole process painless. The work was done sooner than I expected, the cost came in lower than I thought it would, and the communication was solid the whole way through. Mind you, this was an exhaust manifold and exhaust replacement on a 2001 Nissan Frontier. This was also the third shop I had taken the truck to, which said they could do the job. They even let me pay over the phone so I could pick up my truck after hours, which made my life a lot easier. Definitely recommend them. Great people, great work.
