I went to AutoNation Honda Fremont Service Center today because I had an emergency tire sidewall damage. Since it was urgent, I didn’t have time to schedule an appointment and decided to walk in. When I arrived, I waited in my car for about 30 minutes. During that time, at least four employees walked past my car, but not a single person asked if I needed help. I then went inside, and an employee asked if I had an appointment. I said no because it was an emergency situation. He told me, “Okay, go back to your car and someone will come to assist you.” I waited another 40 minutes — still no one came. By the time it was close to 4 PM, I knew waiting longer was pointless. They close at 6 PM, and there was no chance they would help me with a tire repair or replacement in time. So I left. If they had simply told me “We do not take walk-in customers” from the beginning, I wouldn’t have wasted over an hour there. Extremely disappointing. If you don’t have an appointment, do NOT come here.

Great service and friendly staff. The technician did a good job — my car runs very smoothly after the maintenance. The price is a bit higher than outside shops, but they use genuine parts and offer a one-year warranty.

This place has poor customer service. Upon arrival, I waited 10-15 minutes for someone to come and greet me. They gave me a way higher quote than what I received over the phone. Then they said they would only provide a one way ride home while I waited which I was fine with, but when it came time to ask for a ride home, they said their system was down. Another customer was told the same thing as he waited for over 4 hours to get his car fixed. I don't think I'll return.

We brought my pilot in to repair the rear seatbelts since the sensor was not functioning. The vehicle was still under manufacturers warranty, so if the seatbelt had no external obstruction, it was covered financially. This proved to be the case, so they ordered a replacement part and it arrived overnight. The seatbelt works great now, they also performed software recalls, and all went great.

Max was my service provider and helped me out with financing options and answered my questions about car issues and parts. My technician, Percy, was also very helpful and friendly and provided me a thorough video of car inspection notes and what+why certain parts needed replacement. My car is driving much smoother now after taking it in and I can always count on AutoNation Honda to help me out with honest and ethical work without overcharging anything!

I’ve always been satisfied with the service I’ve received at Honda of Fremont, but my most recent visit was very disappointing and left me feeling frustrated. When I called for a quote, I was told my service would cost around $400. However, when I arrived, the price suddenly increased to about $800. I asked to speak with a manager, and my service advisor said they would get one—but no one ever came out to speak with me directly. Instead, I was told the most they could do was take $150 off the total, which still didn’t address my concerns. In addition, I was told that certain things were wrong with my car, including an issue with the engine mount. When I was asked if I’d been experiencing rattling, I said no—but since this service visit, I’ve actually started noticing rattling that wasn’t there before. I also asked for specific service advisors I’ve worked with in the past, only to be told that everyone was new and still learning. On top of that, I didn’t receive the inspection video from the mechanic, which I normally get and find very helpful in understanding what’s being done to my vehicle. Overall, this experience was not what I’ve come to expect from Honda of Fremont. I left feeling extremely dissatisfied and would appreciate if someone from management could reach out to discuss this matter further.

The quality of the service seems good. However, the check-in process takes far too long. I waited almost two hours on my last visit and over 45 minutes just to get checked in today. They really need to hire more staff or improve the check-in process to avoid these long delays.

I’ve been coming to this service center for about 10 years now, and while I've generally been satisfied, I’ve noticed some changes in recent years that I think are worth mentioning. Unfortunately, the customer experience seems to have declined in terms of timely service, quality, pricing, and the overall professionalism of some of the advisors I’ve encountered. I also can’t help but notice that there’s a high turnover of staff, and I’ve primarily seen new faces—mostly men. I do wish there was more diversity, especially more female advisors, as I've had experiences where I felt rushed or not taken as seriously when discussing car maintenance. It’s important for any customer to feel confident and respected, especially when it comes to something as vital as car care. That being said, the staff is still generally friendly, and I’ve had some good interactions. Just be aware that your experience might vary depending on who you get, as it can sometimes feel a bit hit or miss. Despite the downsides, it’s still a reliable option if you need car service.

I had a really good car-buying experience. The team was friendly, honest, and patient from start to finish. Honda Fremont has been my go to place when it comes to service my 2019 HRV for almost 7 years now. First of all locations are always been clean and organized. Second, staffing are well uniformed. Lastly, staffing are very helpful and attentive. Two of the service advisors used to assist me is no longer working there. Angel is my new go to service advisor now. He's great customer service, pretty straightforward and tells me what service my HRV needed even though the cost almost gave me a heart attack. 👀 😅 This is good for my HRV so I can drive it for more years to come. They take good care of my car very well. Kudos for the technician or mechanics too. I will continue coming here. Highly recommend this place better than other Honda locations. Had bought car from another AutoNation had really bad experience there, so thought of bringing the car to Honda Fremont. Car had Starter issues. Had excellent service and customer satisfaction at Honda Fremont. Deigo was very helpful and patient to understand the issue and then suggested proper diagnosis for the car. They know the car and the service offered was very good. Constant updates about the car diagnosis and also photos and videos about car being worked on, from technician was very informative. Definitely worth the time. Appreciate all the work. Thank you.

really incredible customer service here at Honda Fremont. Both of the Service advisors I’ve worked with have been very helpful. Jason H helped me schedule my original appointment, pointed out a safety concern with my tire tread and help me find a nice set of tires to install with my wheel alignment. Unfortunately, one of the tires went flat within warranty. Angel Gutierrez was the Service Advisor when I came back in yesterday to replace the flat tire. Angel got my tire replacement ordered right there on the spot under warranty. He provided me updates on the tires arrival and got my car in and out of service once it arrived. Completely under warranty. my experience at Honda Fremont service center has been great, the service advisors take great care of you. Thank you Jason and Angel!
