We just drove 6 hours to purchase a new Crosstrek from this dealership. We dealt with Nathan Young. Nathan was very quick to respond to all of my questions and was the only salesperson who provided me the total out the door price without playing games. The price was significantly less than any of the dealerships in my area. When we arrive to the dealership, the transaction was very efficient and smooth. The finance manager was not pushy and made the finance portion quick and painless. This was one of the better new vehicle purchases I’ve experienced. I highly recommend this dealership if you’re looking for a great deal and not pushy sales people. .

After a bit of a wait to check in for my service appointment I was seen by Eric who was friendly and kept me updated on my vehicle. It got late and diagnostic was still being performed so the assistant manager introduced himself and offered a loaner .I accepted and was given a new crosstrek which was very nice to drive. Next morning I was sent a video of the inspection with voice explaining what was found and recommendation for repairs. That was impressive too. Eric texted me approximation of delivery time and they also washed my car...5 🌟 experience from this Subaru dealership!

Bottom Line Up Front: Worth It and now my family and I are all enjoying our new Crosstrek 🚘 I’ve never owned a Subaru or a new car, so I decided to sign up online for a test drive with Subaru Carlsbad. When I arrived, EVERYONE was polite, not pushy and remained professional the entire time. Yuri was patient and definitely a seasoned professional! He repeatedly pointed out all the safety features and answered all my questions! Yuri wanted me to pick the car I felt most comfortable in and didn’t pressure me at any point in the day! Yuri was transparent and kept me updated about all my options. Miguel and Sean made sure the magic happened when it came down to the money and warranties. Sean made sure my warranty package fit my families needs and not a one size fits all/take it or leave it offer. Military friendly and lots of inventory to test drive. Clean bathrooms and a cozy break room if you have to wait. The manager Kim personally came out to triple check that I was confident with my decision and gave me an awesome Subaru gift bag! The full tank of gas and the last minute detailers who freshened it up one more time definitely made my rainy day! The follow up emails continue, so the opportunity to schedule a time to meet up with subject matter experts about all the gadgets/systems in your car later on is so helpful! Plates are sent to you directly to avoid the DMV line 🙌 When everyone says welcome to the Subaru family, it feels real! Thank you to everyone on the team at Subaru Carlsbad!

We have been very disappointed with my experience at Subaru Carlsbad. For over a year, our tire pressure warning light has been perpetually on, on our Crostrek. The tire pressure itself is clearly fine, and the car has been in multiple times for routine maintenance and tune-ups during that period. Despite this, the service department has repeatedly refused to even look at or adjust the issue unless we first pay a $200 diagnostic fee. Not fix it — just look at it. That’s especially frustrating given the car was already in their care for other paid services, where addressing something this basic should not require an additional upfront charge. This feels less like customer service and more like a rigid policy designed to extract fees rather than help customers. A warning light that has been acknowledged repeatedly and is clearly not a tire safety issue should not require a $200 barrier just to reset or evaluate. I expect better from a Subaru dealership and from a service department that claims to stand behind its customers. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously eroded my trust, and I’ll be thinking twice before returning.

Bought 2 beautiful cars within “3 weeks!” When I say Jayden is a gem and an amazing car salesman, I mean he’s the best there is out there! I didn’t think I would purchase 2 new cars in such a short period of time. He really takes his time to show you the car and make you love them. I can tell he has a huge passion for cars. There was not an ounce of pressure from him towards my wife and I to purchase a car. Instead, he showed us everything both cars are capable of and what to love about them. He’s very knowledgeable with ALL the cars he showcased and passed by and always had an answer.
