How long does an oil change take? 30 minutes, 60 minutes? No, 2 hours is what it takes Premier Chevrolet to do an oil change on a 1.5L Equinox. Oh, and don't forget to get an appointment to sit and wait that 2 hours for your oil change! How does something so simple take that long?

The appointment details sent from Premier said 1 hour. The actual service took over 3 hours. The dealership arranged for transportation for me, which was appreciated!

All I needed was an oil change and tire rotation. I brought my car up a day early to drop it off. Staff was great. Actually finished my car a day early. Thanks

On my first visit they sent me a quote for recommended service that I approved but when I came to pick up the vehicle the total was off by over $500 more, when I confronted them about it, they tried to blame me and say it was wrong. Luckily I still had the copy and held them to the price they originally quoted. On my second visit ( for the same service warning I brought it in for the first time) only a month later and they would not stand by there work, they said it would be two weeks to even diagnose my truck and I would have to leave it with them. I did not, went to orielys for free code reading and a $40 part fixed the problem, saved me over $500

I had originally taken my vehicle in for multiple services. I was wrongly told the date my vehicle would be ready and when I did go get my vehicle, not even two hours later, my oil had almost completely spilled on the floor of the street. I had to get my car towed and when I went the next day to try and see what had happened, I was met with resistance from the service advisor. along with being told that I was"lucky" that they had techs in that day (a saturday). After some back and forth they put me in a rental. Afterwards, only the shop foreman contacted me and apologized. No other staff took time out of their day to apologize. They say their motto is "Get it right the first time" but that clearly was not the case.

I had an amazing experience buying a car at Chevrolet Premier Carlsbad, thanks to Derrick Stewart and his friendly team. I’ve bought many vehicles over the years, both personal and for business, but this was the easiest and most enjoyable experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. Derrick was really friendly, thorough, and explained everything clearly. He even went above and beyond to get me the best price and lowest APR possible. If you’re looking to buy a Chevrolet car, I highly recommend visiting Derrick and the amazing team at Chevrolet Premier Carlsbad. I’ll definitely be going there again for any business or personal vehicles I need.

Premier Chevy did a great job! Fernando was a great communicator and helped me decide what was urgent and what could wait. The service took a long time, but they were straightforward about it from the start, so my expectations were met. Thanks Premier Chevy!

I CLEARLY mentioned to not rotate my tires when i did a oil change service on my 2020 chevy impala. And of course, my tires were rotated. I get my rotation done elsewhere so this screws everything up and it’s simply a waste of my time. Unfortunately, there is always something wrong that happens in this dealership. I remember I got my oil serviced and the filter was defected and had to go back and get that issue fixed during my personal work hours not that long ago. I have the paperwork if you’re curious about that. Anyways, this is the last time I will service my vehicle there. I gave too many chances to this dealership and was very patient but enough is enough. Hope this helps for your future customers.

My husband and I decided to come to Premier based on the recommendation of our daughter, who is a fan of your service team. We decided to try your location after disappointing service from another dealership. We discovered our daughter was absolutely correct. The service team is fantastic! They were friendly, responsive, accommodating, and on top of what's required for my car's regular maintenance. They even helped me understand a problem that surfaced during my visit. I wish I had purchased my vehicle from your location, because the service team can make or break your business, and your team will keep people coming back. Thank you.

Horrible experience. Communication was really bad. After dropping off my vehicle I called to let them know that there was another issue besides the coolant leak. I could not get a hold of an actual person, so I left a detailed message, and asked for a call back. I never received one, instead I started receiving texts from the dealership. I referenced the voice message I had left and asked repeatedly about the additional issue. Every response I got totally ignored the question I asked, and was focused on letting me know that the part for the original issue was on back order and they did not know when it would come in. They offered a loaner vehicle, after having my car for 3 days, but they informed me that they could only provide a 5 person vehicle. I bought an 8 seater, because I have a family of 7. I don’t know how you can sell vehicles that seat 8, and promise customers that if anything every happens you can bring it in and the warranty will take care of everything, and you will be provided a vehicle for your family, but when it actually happens they don’t have sufficient vehicles. This is the 4th time I have had to bring my 2024 traverse in for different repairs, and it still has an issue I have to take it back in for because the dealership did not address it. It only has 20k miles on it. Very disappointed in Chevy

The good: Dropping off the car was quick and efficient. Our service advisor, Don Olsen was great. I explained the problem with the car, he explained the process. Don indicated that the minimum turnaround time for EV repairs was likely 48 hours as there was only one EV technician and a sizeable list of cars needing service ahead of ours. In this particular case, that was fine, as we were leaving for a long weekend and would pick up the car 5 days later. The bad. One day later we received an email saying the car was ready. As I read the details of the service, I found that nothing was actually done that I had not already done. Because we received a warning on the dashboard "Propulsion reduced, see dealer asap" and the MIL was illuminated, we brought it to the dealer. I had already used a scan tool that I have, which indicated "Lost communication with Hybrid/EV Control Module 2 on Powertrain Expansion Communication Bus." The service department ran a scan and found the same issue, along with other error codes. They then cleared the codes, claimed they did a road test , but the odometer reading on the invoice showed no mileage difference - MILAGE IN/OUT". No codes or warning re-occurred. I guess this is what passes for repair these days. No attempt was made to get the source of the problem. No inspection of the control modules, the expansion bus cabling or connectors, etc. I am left wondering whether the car will be reliable or whether we will be left stranded on the road. And, by the way, I had to dispute a charge of $275 for this so-called service. The powertrain warrantee: The 2022 Chevy Bolt warranty includes a bumper-to-bumper coverage for 3 years or 36,000 miles, and a powertrain warranty for 5 years or 60,000 miles.' The car only has about 22,000 miles, but we are approaching 5 years. Is this service just an attempt to run out the clock on our warrantee? I have every expectation this will happen again since nothing was actually repaired. I just purchased AAA in anticipation of the car breaking down. This whole experience is really too bad. I really liked the car until now. At this point I am going over all my options as to independent repair service, or replacing the car. If we do decide to replace the car, it won't be another Chevy, if this service experience is representative of what to expect.
