Wide selection of parts and accessories Competitive prices In-store services Online ordering and pickup 30-day return policy Cons: Customer service can be slow and unhelpful Returns can be complicated Some stores are poorly stocked Overall, Advance Auto Parts is a good option for finding automotive parts and accessories. However, it is important to read reviews before visiting a store to get an idea of the customer service you can expect. Here are some of Advance Auto Parts' competitors: AutoZone O'Reilly Auto Parts RockAuto PartsGeek NAPA Auto Parts If you are looking for a different option, I recommend comparing the prices and selection of these stores before making a purchase.

Updated review. AutoZone, 1 Padanaram Rd, Danbury. Recently returned to find new staff versus staff that was in place when I posted my initial 1 star review. The new staff is respectful, always helpful, and maintains more awareness on how to inquire on parts compatibility and availability using their online systems. I returned to this location 3-4 times over the past 2 months and it was always a positive experience. As a result I am upgrading my rate from prior 1 star to 4 stars. Prior review: I found The Autozone rep (female) at the 1 Pandanaram Rd, Danbury location to be of little value add / help or assistance. In some cases her demeanor to customers was rude and disrespectful. I observed her making negative comments about a customer who recently left the store having not been able to make his intended purchase. As a result, I will not be using the retail location and would recommend others seek an alternative supplier to meet their auto parts needs. I found Adavance Auto Brookfield, CT to be much more knowledgeable, helpful and respectful.

I straight up don’t write reviews on anything, but jeez I gotta be honest; I have zero clue how this place is still open… has been a lost location for a very long time. Staffed entirely by people who seemingly have no clue what’s going on…. I’ve let this same issue slide a couple times, this is maybe the 4th time I’ve been there; where genuinely they refuse to grab a part for me from the back… quite genuinely if the part you need isn’t out in the aisle, you WILL not be walking out with parts. They actually have the audacity to say “yeah I’m not gonna go look back there, if you would like to be my guest”… and this is on stock that the computer says they have multiple units of. They genuinely just can’t be bothered to go back and find/grab it… and this is not some boomer just griping online, I’m 26 and even in my short years I don’t think I’ve seen the same lack of professionalism anywhere else except good old padnaram autozone!

I’m changing my review rating, this place is close to me and use to come frequently, before the employees was give me wrong parts (come and go, loosing time) however in last couple weeks I seem a big difference all of them look very professional ready to help everyone, even trying to help you to find the parts what you need it! I feel bad for my last review but, I really like this place, professional guys who now’s what they doing!! Keep it like this !

The heavy set Hispanic female manger at auto zone on North Street, had poor customer service, was rude, argumentative and appeared very miserable. First of all, when I walked in, nobody greeted me. I brought in wind shield wipers that I thought I purchased from auto-zone on Main Street . I confused advanced auto zone with auto zone . I asked if they could help put them on and the very heavy set Hispanic female who happen to be the manger, grabbed them , looked at them and aggressively said “ no they ain’t from this store. “ Then walked to the back, I said yes they are let me get receipt. She then began yelling no they not acting extremely ghetto. I brought he receipt in and a man explained that the two auto zones were different. The professional way would be to say . It’s our policy that we can’t put those on your car unless you buy them from us. If she doesn’t like her job, she should go somewhere else . I plan to also leave a complaint with corporate.

This Auto Zone is awesome! They are really friendly and always willing to help! Riddhima was so kind. And went the extra mile. She came outside to check on my windshield wipers. She also recommended products that were at the best price. Hard to find that kind of customer service today.

I bought wiper blades here today. At checkout, Rami double checked that I had the right ones. Then, about 20 yards from the store, as I was fitting the blades, Rami showed up again to ensure I was having no issues fitting them. And he took away the old blades and packaging. Outstanding service!!

The staff at this location are so kind and helpful, I cannot get over it!! I went there today in a bit of a panic because one of my wipers was not working and it was raining. Two employees helped me out and one got his own toolbox from his car and tightened the loose knob. This guy seriously saved me!! I am beyond grateful and I highly recommend this location.

Second time i have come here and they have been super helpful. But this time Rami went out of his way at night in freezing temperatures (low 30s) to help me with my headlight. He went above and beyond to put my headlight in for me which he technically didn’t have to, but he did. I appreciate him. Great job with whomever hired this man. Grateful for him

SHE FOUND IT!! Kudos Lindsey! I came into the Main St AutoZone in Danbury CT (#3245) this afternoon looking for a 6V battery for my 1949 Ford 8N farm tractor. After numerous blank stares Lindsey came over and "ran with it"! Taking measurements of the example I brought in; she even called said example's manufacture. She found the cross reference--better yet: There was ONE in stock! Done! Great work! Thank you, Lindsey for clearly going the extra mile!!

Five stars! Rami was the most helpful auto zone team member ever. I am going on a long trip and bought some tie down straps to secure my luggage on my luggage rack, and I was having a lot of trouble using the straps. I ran into Rami in the parking lot and showed him the straps I had purchased and he helped me secure my luggage and showed me how the straps work. Very helpful and pleasant and just wonderful service .

This guy that works at this establishment on padanarum rd. Should be reprimanded for his comments, behavior, and actions! He didn’t know I had a disability!! He called me lazy, ugly! And I told him sorry your having a bad day!! Then he escalated it and yes I did swear at him called him rude, crude, he isn’t the manager I believe in this store! If he is you see why people don’t shop there! It’s the worst store and nobody knows what they are doing? The other locations are great! This clown with his tattoos and disrespectful attitude should be fired!! You don’t make comments to one customer when there’s 2 doing the same thing! Parking lot cop while he’s smoking a cigarette in front of the store!! Yup not good for business!!

Vinny was generous with staff and prompt to diagnose and help get my battery replaced. Alex acted deftly and performed helpful work. It would have been faster had I done it myself and I was grateful for the support.
