My wife went to AutoZone to get the battery replaced on our VW car while I was at work. She calls me later to inform that the car's alarm won't stop going off every time the employee tries to hook up the battery. My wife says to him, "I think that the battery is backwards" and the employee assures her that it's not, stating "it's because the car is a foreign model". After a bystander, who actually knew the basics they teach on day 1 of battery replacement school, tells the employee he is installing it backwards she is finally able to start the car but now my car is throwing all kinds of codes and I have to take it into the dealership to get it fixed. I will not be returning to this store. Would be nice if the store set a little bit higher standards of experience for their employees or at least provided some kind of training for them.

I went in this afternoon to get a new battery for my vehicle and hopefully get a little help installing it. The surly, burly lady behind the counter came to take a look at the battery. She then said she couldn't change it due to corporate policy regarding the setup of the battery in my car (but didn't go into much detail). I commented that was strange since the last time it was changed was by an employee at an O'Reilly Auto Parts and they had no difficulty, but that it was fine if she couldn't do it. She then became loud and argumentative, claiming I was lying about where I had my battery replaced and that the battery was "Wal-Mart Brand". I told her that I know where I got my battery replaced previously (O'Reilly, not Wal-Mart like she insisted) and left. I wish I got her name so I could include it here, but the rude, argumentative and factually inaccurate comments from her are a horrible way to treat another human being let alone a potential customer. Despite being the closest auto parts store to me, I will not give this place one cent of my money in the future.

Had a guy order an oil pan gasket, he says "we'll let you know when it comes in", and THEN proceeds to help the customer behind me without even asking for my contact info, OR even asking if I done shopping, OR needed anything else ordered. Which I did. But after siting there staring at him for 3 minutes, with no acknowledgement i just left.

I'm giving this place 1 star only because of the manager. She is rude, ignores customers, stays on the phone on what is obviously a personal call, and if you have any melanin in your skin, she assumes you're Hispanic and speaks to you in Spanish. Once they didn't have a part I needed. Instead of offering to get the part for me, she told me to buy it online. So I took her advice.

I walked into the store and asked the front counter guys to help me find a fuse to replace in my truck. My radio wasn’t working and I researched and then asked to confirm the fuse I need to buy to replace. The guy at the counter told me that if the radio was on that it wasn’t the fuse. I told him that per the research I did it was an amp fuse. He the was trying to convince me that it was an aftermarket amp (which it is not) it’s a B&O system with an amp built into the truck. He then tried to tell me I needed a whole new radio system. I asked if I could just buy a fuse and try to replace it and he suggested I take it to Ford. I drove down the street to O’Reillys. They confirmed the fuse, showed me which one I needed, I replaced it and now my audio works. Just disappointed I wasn’t listened to and had a bad experience.

Pablo was amazingly knowledgable, patient, and helpful. He helped me troubleshoot the headlights on my 2016 Toyota Tundra and saved me hundreds of dollars and countless tears. Today Pablo taught me how to check my fuses, check headlights, and ultimately trade my faulty headlight plugs. I have been going to Auto Zone for years, and today was the best visit yet. I will tell my friends AND family!!
