The owner is not always available when you need him and he doesn't always answer or return your phone calls. Sometimes the problem is not always fixed right the first time. He has given customers cars to drive until you car is fixed.

Bad business all around .guy is dirty. He gave me three different prices after he quoted me a price in the beginning so I took it to another shop.remind you when I left my car it had full tank of gas.when I sent wrecker to get it the tank was empty.no good people .

Unprofessional, unethical idiots are running the auto repair. Does not respond to customer needs , no waiting place. Fixed wrong parts to my car which leads to complete engine failure, I thought they dont have license to run auto repair and running illegally. Man by name quereshi is threatening with his behaviors and gestures. I don't want to give a single star also, I hope not to see these idiots in future. Guys please stay away and keep you vehicles safe from these scrap idiots.

They don’t value customer needs, very horrible and intimidating service. Totally messed my car which leads to 7000$ complete loss, it’s a lifelong regret to take my car to this AVILA AUTO REPAIR. I am helpless and unable to take any action on these morons except writing a review, please safeguard your cars from these irresponsible, unqualified people.

I took my car to Avila's in December of 2019, and didn't get my car back until January 2020 over a fuel injector that needed to be repaired. We ended up having to pick my car up after WEEKS of not hearing back from the owner on the status of my car. My father called the shop, and every answer was "He isn't here. We will have him call you back" and nothing happened. Horrible customer service and it is absolutely impossible to talk to the owner for anything. My father and I ended up asking them to put the car back together so we could take it to a mechanic smart enough to fix it. When I got my car back from Avila's, the mechanics were too incompetent to put my car back together. My interior lights were turned off, my radio didn't work, and the computer system was messed up because he took it out, even though the issue was not related to the computer. He also took out my battery and didn't put the original one back, and the one I have now completely died on me and I had to spend $200 for a new battery. I took my car to Benson's Wheel Alignment where I was able to get my issues fixed. Avila's had too many cars waiting in line and the customer service was awful. Do not go here or else you'll waste your time and more money!!!

I'm extremely disappointed with the service here. Both of the guys are super nice people, but they did not do their due diligence on this repair. My car was randomly not starting several times in the day. I took it to them on recommendation from a friend. Best guess was that it was a starter issue, but that didn't make complete sense because sometimes it would start just fine. When they couldn't get the issue to replicate, they just gave up and put in a new starter, charging me $350. Lo and behold it didn't fix the problem. Took it to a different shop that found the issue buried in the codes of my car and changed out a $50 part. If you know for sure what's wrong with your car, they can probably do it for you, but definitely don't let them handle the diagnostics.

On Next-door Kemah area today, I read about Mr Horacios Avilas great deed. He was photographed on a home front door camera returning a lost wallet that he found to the rightful owner. You can read his name and business name on his work uniform shirt. Mr Avila; I applauded you for your ethics. Being an old out of service Texas Police Officer, you are indeed a rarity. We need more individuals like you in our communities.

His rating is benefiting from reviews about the fact that he returned somebody's wallet, and it was posted on Nextdoor. But that has nothing to do with his business. I went there BECAUSE of the Nextdoor post, and was very disappointed. I wasn't even going to post about it until the guys who helped me with my brakes after I decided I didn't want him to do any additional work, told me that they had to break studs to get the wheel off. They said that I never would have been able to get it off if I had gotten a flat. That was the last straw. I have an invoice that says that I paid him $50 just to CHECK the brakes, when he represented this as a courtesy that he was going to do for me. So he couldn't even put the wheel back on in the correct professional manner??? I paid him $631 to replace two rear studs on a Toyota Corolla. It was my fault that I didn't do my homework better on that issue because I was too caught up in the good will from the Nextdoor thread about what a wonderful guy he was.
