They saved us so much money I could cry, we had been quoted $1,940 to fix a problem at another auto mechanic shop, called around and others were saying it would be $1500 to get fixed, luckily we were recommended here by a friend, so happy we listened, we only paid $540 for those fixes, we will only be going here from now on.

Honest mechanic i recommend this auto repair shop prices not expensive i been here manytimes.... is you see the negative review down just ignore them .. they don't like pay attention and they don't accept what he,she has problem on there car..

Avila's Auto Repair is a rarity. Jose Avila is not only technically strong and efficient; he is HONEST. He and his crew have done work on four vehicles of mine. That work has involved everything from an oil change to an engine swap. All great work. For non-Spanish speakers: be patient with his self-consiousness with English (it's better than he gives himself credit for) or his quick use of an interpreter. You'll end with someone you can rely on.

I took my car for smog check 3 times cause never passed the smog "cause " was something and I took my car to another mechanic and everything was fine. So I had to take my car to another place and everything was fine, and passed the smog check. So i will never back to this place. And never recommend to my friends.

They said my moms trucks failed the smog check when it didn’t!! We had to pay $100 extra bucks to see what the problem on the truck was & there was NO PROBLEM! We came back & they said it failed again? Like what in the hell. Turns out their machine for smog check wasn’t working well. What type of business says that? You’re supposed to know that your equipments are UP TO DATE!

This person takes advantage of female owners. Not trust worthy. I didn't pay attention to basic warranty on catalytic converter on truck because I had 2 people say right side and that part would be 800 and not labor but when I got receipt the part was $187.00. That should have been my red flag. Never again would I go here or recommend anyone. He was to have fixed right side and could have just put left side and mean while 1400 gone.

Honest, humble man that will not lie to you about your car. Reliable employees always working hard. I will keep going to fix my car issue with him. My challenger had a issue to fix it at dodge I had to pay $2100.00 dollars with my boy Avila $600.00 you make the math.

The did a good job on my brake replacement but I came back for a diagnostic for a vacuum leak in my Mercedes. They kept my car for two days and charged us $60 for a diagnostic but couldn’t tell me and husband what was wrong with the car. The owner Jose and his mechanic was very rude to my husband. They hung up on us when we were inquiring about our cars. They made us feel like they did not want us to be there because they had lots of clients who spoke their same language. We also took our BMW to get sparks plugs to them and they kept my car for 2 days and did not even look at it and kept telling us he is busy. So we took both cars away from them and found another Mechanic shop who turns out to be a blessing so truly knows about their cars!!! But most importantly they were very professional and advised me on what was need to repair both cars!!

He got it all done for a very fair price and even made sure I’d pass smog. He’s honest, skilled, and won’t try to upsell you unnecessary repairs.
