Taylor Sznaider thats the same car you have listed reporting it has no issues drives excellent if im not mistaken that was your exact words, and this was after you got it from Backwoods !! You are 18 but your father brought the used parts to Alex and instructed Alex to use the used parts! Im sure if anyone wants to find out the real story behind this young man's review , the court records do not LIE like some reviews from people that are unhappy with the parts they bought used , the judge in this case dismissed Mr. SZnaider's case against Alex/ Backwoods when Alex proved he did exactly as he was instructed to do by Mr. Sznaider's father even though Alex advised against it, that's what the customer wanted, Alex is a wonderful mechanic and I would and have recommend him to anyone!!

Please don’t go through what I went through. I trusted Alex with my 2007 corvette to rebuild the motor, and instead he installed used parts, wrong-sized pistons, and incorrect piston rings. When he gave me the car back after I paid the full $9000, the car was ticking and blowing smoke out of the back. He told me this was normal for the brake in process. After addressing the issue over and over with Alex he lied and claimed that I had brought him a cracked block and said it wasn’t his fault. A second, reputable shop later confirmed that the damage was caused entirely by Alex’s work. Despite this, Alex demanded that I pay full price again for him to “redo” the engine. In total, I lost over $9,000. I am only 18 years old, and it is honestly disgraceful that a shop would treat a customer this way—especially someone so young who trusted them. Also having to pay another 8k to a new shop to fix what Alex messed up. I’m over 18k into this car and it still isn’t running and this shop is to blame! Because of this situation, my car was tied up for over a year and a half while Alex claimed he was “working” on it. During that time, I missed out on having my car for some of the most important moments of my senior year of high school, including prom, formal, graduation, and many other events I will never get back. I’m sharing this so no one else has to experience the same loss, stress, and disappointment that I did.
