The owner Ralph is a great guy! No BS! Or so I thought. Took my truck in to get transmission rebuilt March 2017. After 2 weeks I finally got my truck back with shifting problems, a missing transmission pan bolt, and transmission fluid leaking. Took truck back. Was without for another 2 weeks. Got truck back with same problems minus the missing bolt, but now heard a grinding noise when I was sitting at a stop. Shift into neutral, noise gone. Took truck back, same story. Took truck in for a fourth time in February 2018 and finally got the shifting right, but worse leak than ever and still have grinding noise which they keep telling me they don’t hear. Just pulled the drain plug, April 21st and it’s covered in metal shavings. I’m pretty sure there shouldn’t be this much metal after 2 months. Very depressing.

Ballz automotive is my go to shop. I have an older ford with a 6.4 and the damn thing is a lemon. I take it there for all my issues and Ballz always resloves them. I trust these guys more than ford. Ford miss diagnosed my truck by the way. And I can say that the shop owner and mechanics really know there craft. I will not go anywhere else and I would highly recommend this shop!

This place has the two most important qualities that you want in a mechanic: honesty and expertise. I was having injection issues in my 6.0 powerstroke, and they told me it was most likely a stiction issue. It was a $60 fix. Other places might have tried to pull a fast one on me by telling me it was an injector that needed place. I poured the anti-stiction treatment in and it was running good as new in a half hour. Highly recommend this shop!

The one word to sum up today is “Honest” I got my first diesel a 2022 ram 2500 so I’m getting used to some of the maintenance that a diesel needs compared to my 1500 . Anyway, the diesel particular filter gauge showed zero. I went to another diesel specialized repair shop and they begin to give me quotes on a new filter over $4k or an option of getting it cleaned for about $600. Thank goodness they did not have any openings and I found Ballz and met Ralph. He took the time to talk to me explain some of the extra care of diesel needs some tips and then the most important part he easily could’ve talked me into getting a bunch of repairs. Ralph recommended that I contact the dealership because this should be covered under warranty. Sure enough I called the dealer and I had three months left of coverage. I told Ralph this was stand up service now I can get this repair repaired cover at the dealer for free. I definitely will be back to see Ralph and his team in the future. So even though I did not get repairs done today, I can share that Ralphs honesty and knowledge of diesel makes this is the place to go.
