If I could do zero stars I would, folks don't count on this guy showing up when he says he will. When he does show up he'll bring a posse with him. Was a no-show four times.. the first time he was supposed to show up I waited four hours.. I finally got a hold of him and he tells me *sorry forgot about you..and his diagnosis when he was there for 20 minutes looking at my engine was totally incorrect. Don't waste your time with this guy

I'm Kenneth Barnett, as I look at some of these reviews, I see it's hard to satisfy every one. Some cars have problems that customers don't know about and even as a technician i cant always figure in a timely manner. This is a tough business.

He is NOT a man of his word! Instead of fixing the initial problem that was wrong with the vehicle, he caused other issues ontop of NOT fixing the initial problem that he was paid to fix. He kept saying he was gonna return a call when the parts came in, but he is yet to do that. You get by, but u don't get away....keep conducting customer service like this & the money that was lost on my end will only be a fraction of what u lose in the end. Professionalism & customer courtesy does not exist with him, its all about the dollar. He "claimed" that he is the best at what he does & according to these previous reviews & my RECENT experience, he didn't lie because he's definitely good at making a BIGGER mess of things! So, I would advise that everyone take heed to the previous comments of peoples experiences......especially since he dosen't even try to right his wrongs!

Great auto repair shop. All the people writing bad reviews must be disgruntled customers who didn't have enough money to pay for the work or failed their inspections. Speaking of inspections, they only charge $20 while it costs $30 everywhere else. My truck needed a water pump replaced. Not only did they replace it for considerably less than anyone else quoted me, they found an oil leak I didn't know about (oil was leaking onto the exhaust and burning off, not leaving any trace). When I said thanks but I can do it myself, the owner not only got me the new gasket using his business account, saving me almost $20, he also said I was welcome to use his tools and replace it on the spot for a small fee (less than what he saved me on the part). Thanks Barnett, don't know why you're getting all these negative reviews, but you guys are good in my book and are now my go to shop.

Nice guy but Went a month ago to get my Cadillac Converter and gasket cover valve replaced day later check engine light came back on. Took it to auto zone and the same codes came up and the engine light is still on.

We took our Impala to Barnett for a specific issue, Barnett and his crew then took it upon themselves to “fix” something completely different, which then in return caused a completely different issue, on top of the initial issue. He then put a “band-aide” on a part and said “let’s see, because cars are stupid”. We have taken our cars to Barnett before several times, and thought we could trust him, but he has since proved us wrong.

Great place to get your car repaired. It is run by a very knowledgeable veteran who truly cares about his customers and saving them money. I brought in my Mercedes after picking up one of their cards advertising $20 state Inspections, as my car was due for one, at a store. They pointed out a couple issues (one of which I was aware of) and quoted less to repair both than others wanted to fix just the one I knew of. The work was done quickly and efficiently right in front of me. Their prices on routine maintenance like oil changes and brakes are hard to beat as well. If you would rather pay several times more to spend all day in an air conditioned lounge with free coffee, go to a dealership. But if you want to spend a lot less money and time on the same repair and don't mind waiting in their shop or leaving until your vehicle is ready, come here, you won't regret it. It is hard to find knowledgeable mechanics willing to work on my car without charging an arm and a leg. These guys know what they are doing and their prices won't make you cringe and think about buying another car instead of getting your current one repaired.

Wow, I must have caught Barnett’s Garage on a bad day because my experience with them is one I would not want to relive. However, I can say there was a young female receptionist there who was very nice. I’m normally good with getting names but I got so distracted with the owner of the business and his analysis of “taking a bite out of a hamburger” in comparisons to my vehicle being towed to their lot and having to pay storage fee(s) for a vehicle sitting on the lot less than 7 hours. Our main purpose there was only to see if the vehicle was drivable and if so, we were going to drive the vehicle home, if not, the vehicle would have stayed there until the insurance company decided on their course of actions. The owner informed the receptionist that if we wanted to drive the vehicle, we had to pay for the tow and storage first before getting the keys to our vehicle. Paying for the services would not have been a problem but we were not at that point yet. We just wanted to see if the vehicle was drivable. The owner was persistence in us paying for the storage fee(s) to the point where he stated that he has pay his employees and the money needs to come from somewhere, so he decided NOT to wave the storage fee(s). I could write on the entire incident that took place, but this encounter lasted for a good while to where the police were called out to the location. The officer informed us this is a civil matter that could be settled and/or handled in court. The officer did express that the wording on the paperwork is confusing and can see how we came to our conclusion. I’ve heard six months ago under the old management this garbage was outstanding, sometimes management makes a difference.

Mr. Burnett was kind, funny and honest. He fixed my brakes and the stem on my rotor. I am not sure if that’s what it’s called but stem broke off with the lug nut when he took off my tire. Definitely highly recommend going to get your car worked on.
