My check engine light was on , I called and they told me to bring it in. I was helped immediately and was given a diagnosis and what the cost of the repair would be within 45 minutes. They reputed my car and I was out the door in about 2 hours. Very professional... will definitely be using them again ...

I took my car here because the heat and Air conditioner would not switch blowing on the windshield to the inside vents. I received a call from a woman that runs the front office telling me to come get it. She said the actuator door was out of alignment but they got it adjusted and it was working. She then stated that if I had any other problems I would have to take it to the dealership which I thought was strange. I left the repair shop to run some errands and when I tried to switch the air flow it would not work. I returned to their automotive shop and one of the mechanics told me he was sorry there was nothing he could do and I would have to take it to the dealership. To say I’m displeased with the device here is an understatement. Please beware.

Honest and hardworking. They do excellent work in a timely manner and at an affordable rate. They will keep their word and won't give you the run around or try to pull on over on you. And the whole staff is very friendly and personable.

They seem nice but it took an entire day just to tell me what was going on with my car. They also did not let me know until close of business when it requires me to be charged a second tow to somewhere capable of fixing cars. So now I have to wait until tomorrow to have it towed somewhere else.

Each time my Spouse used this Garage, they are quite friendly. Yet repairs to our vehicle each time he come back home in his motorized wheelchair....we end up having to return our vehicle to Ernies for an unexpected other problem.

I was impressed and pleased. It's a family-ownèd business who seems to treat customers like family. Fixed the problem for FAR less than others quoted. Wait time was minimal and less than promised. Courteous staff. I would go there again. Definitely recommend.

Very nice people. I brought my car their in 2018 after going to several shops. Every shop I went to kept saying that I need muffler and exhaust. And the cost was going to be over $500. So I stopped by Ernies and they told me to drop my car off the next morning. I dropped it off and I got a call back in a couple hours. The only thing I needed was a 5 point somewhere in the motor. Now I’m a faithful customer of their business

Sooo thankful for these guys! My car stopped working while I was in line to get my dogs their shots. I had my toddler with me as well. He came quick and the communication was amazing. He waited with us until our ride came. I hope I don’t ever need another tow but if I do I’ll most definitely be using these guys.

I would definitely leave a zero for these people if I could! My sister's car was having trouble and we ended up in this parking lot. We just needed a small favor, we ask them if they had someone that could take the battery out of our car so that we could take it to another place because we had a warranty. And they said they didn't have time to do that? Do you know how long it takes to take a battery out of a car? 3 minutes max not even 3 minutes, they said they would charge the battery for us for $30 but we had a warranty with another place that was down the road. As far as I'm concerned they just wanted to take our money and they was not trying to help us! I don't recommend people like this, it doesn't take long to remove a battery out of a car that's sitting in your parking lot.

I came there you did not have anyone available that could look at a tire and tell me if it needed to have an repair plug and the lady was wanting to know was I ever a customer there and I was trying to tell her that yes I had been brought car there before she had to look on the computer to see if she could find me and they acted like they really didn't want to help me which I had to go on up the road and I ended up having to get the tire took off the car somewhere else and had to have a new tire that's why you got the writing that you got because you really didn't act like you really wanted to help me. Since you were conveniently about 5 minutes from where I live but I had to travel all the way over to Raeford Road to get assistance which I thought was sad.

Simple tire plug but worth mentioning due to outstanding service. They're fast and polite even though their bays were full. I stopped at 2 other shops first and since it wasnt a money maker I felt they could care less. I worked at a dealership in the late eighties and ernie and sons did all of our towing. They were great to do business with then and apparently they still are. I had thought of them as just a towing company and not a repair shop. I wish I would've realized earlier. I could've saved myself from probably a good 15 repair shop disasters the past 25 years. I've been looking for a new shop as the Honda just hit 120k and I think I've found it. Having 4plus stars at an auto shop is pretty darn good.

We broke down on the way home on a road trip with our two young kids and this shop went out of their way to get our car up and running as soon as possible. They bent over backwards to give us amazing customer service all around. They turned on cartoons for my kids, pulled out a box of toys, and the secretary Sandy went above and beyond to help entertain my kids for the several hours we were there. The mechanics had our car back up and running in a couple hours. All around great crew working here!! Would recommend to anyone!

I did a walk-in NC state vehicle inspection it was in the late afternoon appearantly in a lull as the lady said they prefer appointments. The service was very fast, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and I was treated very well and felt welcome. I don't know how their mechanic services are or their pricing, but as far as the inspection it was excellent.

We've been taking our vehicle to Ernie and Sons for 5 years and have never been disappointed. On December 3rd I was stranded at a shopping center when my vehicle wouldn't start. Within 60 minutes the tow guy came and took it to Ernie's. The shop was very busy but it was repaired and ready for pickup on December 9th. Diane and Sandy in the office are always polite and helpful.

I went on 02/18/26 to drop off my suv for an alignment and was told it was $98 w/taxes and they will do an overlook at the suspension prior at no cost it’s a curiosity thing they do. Since I never had this done I thought this was a normal process. I received a call stating that I needed to get my drive shaft repaired prior to the alignment which was $1,039.56 but if I didn’t want it fixed I would have to pay $54 for a diagnostic (which I didn’t ask for or authorize) however, if I get it fixed they will wave that. I opted out and decided to have my bf and brother fix it. When I went to pick up my car I wanted to know which part needed to be replaced. Sandy stated it was the drive shaft. I understand but when I went to the parts store they asked was it the front or back since I have an all wheel drive. So I relayed that to her. She then stated well since your bf is fixing the truck he can go under and look for himself. I stated that since they did the diagnostic they can just tell me which part it is but it’s okay if she didn’t want to tell me I can just step out and ask for myself. Her response the mechanics already looked over it and didn’t have time. But yet proceeded to ask for payment! So the manager stepped out (which she’s very unprofessional) walked out to the garage came back in and said “the whole thing, whole thing” as she lifted her arms up in the air. So I continued to ask questions because again I was trying to understand. As I was handing over my payment another customer walked in, manager reached over Sandy and said in front of the other customer it’s okay I’ll help him I see this is going to take a while. Sandy responded I am done which we were. So I informed her that I have another car that needs an alignment but will they do the same, inspect my car and charge me for stuff they failed to let me know about? So be careful leaving your cars here. This just sounds like they’re money hungry and they will do stuff without authorization! Beware!!!!
