I was having them inspect a truck before I bought it and they told me nothing was wrong. So I purchased the truck, then 2 weeks and $1800 later my brake pads are metal on metal, 3 of 4 spindle caps are off, upper and lower ball joints we're going bad. Paid Basic Auto $100 and they didn't even take the tires off to look at the brake pads and rotors or the ball joints or anything else! kind of pissed off about that!!!

I had my car repaired with them. They told me that just adding oil to the transmission would fix the problem, they charged me and the problem persisted. I called to see if I could take my car back so that now they would fix it. They didn't want to accept the car. They told me to take it to other shop

I was thinking by the owner understanding my cancer situation and all that they would respect me and my car, well everything they did to my car messed it up worse. I have a bigger oil leak. My water pump wasn't put in correctly and my car still leaks anti freeze and oil. It was a over $3000 paid to them for my car to be doing the same issue. I've tried to reach back out and they have ignored me since. Don't take your car here. Instead of compassion they use it against you

When my 2007 Honda Odyssey, purchased from Carhop, sprung a major oil leak from the rear main seal I brought my vehicle to Basic Auto for repair, originally for warranty. Carhop denied the warranty…big surprise…I was stuck fixing it out of pocket. John and Michelle really helped me out, and the cost for repair was very reasonable. Since the transmission had to be removed to repair, I wanted a new torque converter installed, a weak point with my particular vehicle, and they located an affordable replacement and installed it. In addition, there were a couple small things that were found that needed to be addressed, and they were taken care of. The repair took about a week, which was expected for this particular repair. When I got my vehicle back, it drives like brand new even with 154,000 miles on it. I’m very happy I took my vehicle here for repair, John and Michelle really went above and beyond. I will be bringing my vehicles here for repair without question, and highly recommend to anyone who needs quality repairs, at an affordable rate. Vehicles these days are more expensive to maintain than ever, and its important to have an HONEST, affordable mechanic, and John is exactly that. And Michelle was very helpful keeping me up to date on how the repair was going. 5 stars and highly recommended! Thank you guys for what you do!
