Went in to have a slow leak in a tire patched. Was hoping it would be quick - in and out - and that they would either tell me I needed to replace the tire (unpatchable) or patch the leak and send me on my way. To the staff's credit, they scheduled my appointment quickly and efficiently when I called them, and were pleasant and cordial with me when I came in for the appointment. I waited 20 minutes just for someone to tell me that they couldn't do any work on tires below a certain tread depth. Company policy, they said. That was honestly not the worst news - it's a recently-purchased used car, and I knew I'd need to get new tires for it anyway, but! I had just had one tire replaced 6 weeks before due to a flat, and the receptionist was trying to tell me that I needed all 4 tires replaced and that they were ALL in poor condition. I was pretty baffled at that. After I protested, she disappeared into the shop for a while, then came back and said that upon investigation, one of the tires could *possibly* be salvaged, but she *really* recommended I get all 4 replaced, possibly with a payment plan or 2 at a time over a few weeks? In short, it really felt like I was getting upsold. I finally consented to getting the 3 tires replaced, which I was told would take an hour. An hour later, the receptionist comes back to me and tells me I'll need an alignment, for an ADDITIONAL $150 and 20 minutes. At this point, I was gonna be late to work, and really needed to leave. I told her this and rather than being professional and respecting my time, she scolded me about not taking care of my investment in new tires before disappearing into the back and screaming "Stop! Stop! Don't do it, they don't want it now!" I did some research, and an alignment isn't a bad idea, but I wish they had explained to me that they would want to do one after installing new tires and how long it would take and how much it would cost BEFORE starting to install the new tires. The lack of transparency on top of the attitude this receptionist was giving me just felt awful. I'm going to try my best not to return to this location. Was recommended to me by a friend, but I'm guessing he went there sometime in the past when perhaps the customer service was better.

Friendly service and quick but went there for a oil change and they spilled oil all over my engine , turbo, exhaust, electrical front breaks, front tire, and sub frame. There was also oil on our front window and cab of truck.Truck was smoking and dripping oil they could have at least cleaned it up we have a 1500 mile drive home too. By far the worst oil change.

Always receive a better price than dealership...1st they immediately gave me a 7-tire price comparison printout & explained the attributes & tire ratings, etc....staff patient & very helpful...I recommend that if you're buying tires (which aren't cheap)...get the Road Hazard Insurance..because that's why I'm here..new car tire picked up a nail...somewhere...now gotta spend big bucks to get a new one...due to the damaged tire rec'd, nice waiting area with LED flat screen & vending machines, clean bathroom 🚻 Almost forgot...they have an Air pump out front that's FREE...that's right...you don't have to spend $1.00 + just to put air in your tires

This is my best friends car (See attached photo), he took it to Belle Tire for a new set of tires. When he went to pickup his car it was totaled, an employee backed the car into a PARKED snow plow, or that is the story that the manager has given. Due to Belle Tires terrible corporate management they will not pay for the entire price of his car and are trying to short him $4,700 by not fully paying off car that their employee destroyed while in Belle Tires possession. I will never let this company touch a car of mine or even recommend them to friends or family after the treatment they have given customers. How could you ruin someones car and then refuse to fully pay for your mistake? Best part of this is that Belle Tire also was refusing to refund the new tires on the car, which were never used since they couldn't even back it up without completely ruining it.

TOOK OVER 3 HOURS TO FIX A TIRE LEAK. Do not make an appointment here - go somewhere else if you value your time. The front desk will stare at their computers completely ignoring customers. Weird place.

It took 4 hours for an oil change and new tires. I even scheduled an appointment for both services slightly staggered so they wouldn't have too many cars to work on at the same time. I watched quite a few people arrive after me and leave before my patience was lost. I also asked them to take a look at the breaks so I could anticipate my next purchase. I was told "they have plenty of life, you're good!" I told them I felt vibration often when I hit the brake and they assured me it was just a little rust or something and it wasn't a problem... Well cut to a month later and someone more competent told me that my front driver's side pad is almost completely worn down. I genuinely can't tell if they're overworked, understaffed or just completely incompetent but go literally ANYWHERE else. I've had much better experiences at the Bell Tire a few min away on Washtenaw

I'm a repeat customer who will never go again. They've lost my trust. Went in for a leaky tire. They told me they couldn't fix the leak because the tire treads were worn and the 2 rear tires needed replacing. I agreed to it and waited for the work to be done. They come back to me and tell me they can't do a wheel alignment because all my suspension, front and back, was bad and presented me with a $2500 estimate. I said no, put the tires on and I'll check with my dealer who I already had to go to for my regular oil change. Dealer took the car for a day and gave it a thorough look and told me there was absolutely nothing wrong. They did the wheel alignment and fixed my dead blinker at no extra charge as well to soften the inconvenience Belle Tire put me through. Far as I'm concerned, Belle Tire now owes me for the stress, time and money to get a second opinion diagnostic and now I don't know that the tires they sold me were actually needed. Will not be giving them my business again.

Had my ball joint replaced 3 weeks ago. This is the condition currently and they wanted to charge me more money to fix what they broke! Not recommended for any auto work especially diesel whatsoever !!! After the “Belle tire” customer service…. Issue not resolved or cared about… beware!!!

TL;DR- car was serviced at Belle Tire for rear brakes and tire balance then had shaking issue. Had to go back to Belle Tire 4-5 times & another auto shop to discover Belle Tire made a mistake in the first place. Belle Tire put a new front rotor and balanced all the tires (so they say) which fixed the issue 95%. Then I went to Discount Tire and they said the tires were STILL out of balance. I never write reviews, but this situation absolutely sucked. I went to Belle Tire to get my rear brakes and rotors replaced. I had no issues on my car, it was just time to replace those brakes. Belle Tire replaced them and immediately after I got my car back, my car was shaking when braking and at high speeds. I went BACK to Belle Tire with the issue and they said they feel it shaking “even when idling” (I never felt this) but don’t see anything faulty with the rotors or brakes. They replaced the brakes and rotors anyway to adhere to the warranty. I still had the same shaking issue. I went BACK to Belle Tire again and they said they “mic-ed” the rotors and there’s no warping or hot spots and they checked “a tire” for balance issues. I assumed, obviously a mechanic would balance my tires, right? So I didn’t question that. They suggested I take it to another mechanic, which I did. I paid $50 to have a DIFFERENT mechanic tell me the rotors are warped. I went BACK to Belle Tire with this new info and since my brakes were under warranty and they had the same argument, they said they “mic-ed” the rotors, there’s nothing wrong with the rotors and the tire was balanced (I’m pretty sure they said they only checked 1 tire through this). I wasn’t getting anywhere with the front desk guy so he suggested I talk to the manager so I had to come BACK the next day to talk with the manager. Manager agreed to look into it. I had to come BACK again the next day to have the manager test drive it. Manager said he doesn’t feel shaking when braking, but feels shaking at 80mph. I said it 100% shakes when braking. The manager said they replaced my front rotors and rebalanced ALL the tires and this fixed the issue 95%. After this ordeal, I didn’t trust them with balancing my tires, so I went to Discount Tire. Discount Tire said there was still 1 tire that was worth a “fill” and I asked him, if I drove 100 miles since a balance (which is how much I drove since Belle Tire’s balancing) is there any reason that tire should be out of balance by now? He said, no, the only reason would be if a weight shifted and the weight didn’t shift. So after all that, Belle Tire STILL didn’t balance my tires correctly. I feel like Belle Tire was just straight up lying to me. I missed multiple days at work and had way too much stress over this situation. I won’t ever go back to Belle Tire and I’ve advised others not to either.

Your computer website for payment is garbage. I kept getting sent to a link that did not work. I tried four times then called the store to pay for my grandsons tires. Arianna said that was not possible. She also said she would send me a new link the next day to hopefully try again. She lied. She never sent the link and when I called her after working all day she tried to blow me off with crap. I live an hour away from their store and had to drive down in construction and rush hour traffic. When I got there she didn't want to help me and was RUDE. When I asked for a discount to compensate me for belle tires inefficiency and waste of 2 hours of my time to make a payment she flat out refused and was very unprofessional and acted like a 2 year old. I will never buy tires from your store again. I have bought tires from you for over 15 years and your front desk staff needs to be better trained on business etiquette.

Arrived ugly crying and late for work due to a car problem created by a different company. The staff here quickly (like within minutes) went outside with me to assess the car and make a plan. So grateful for H. and his coworkers!

Got a flat tire today right as I was pulling into my apartment after work around 5ish pm. Last thing I wanted to do was get go back out and get my tire fixed. I called the Belle Tire over in Belleville and was placed on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up. Called this Belle Tire off Carpenter road and immediately talked with someone. Told them I was hoping to get my tire looked at, and they said bring it in and they'll have a look. Got the spare on and drove over there and they looked at the tire and said it would be an easy fix. They told me it was going to be an hour and it only took them half an hour. They patched my tire up and then didn't even charge me. If you are needing a tire repaired and you are looking for a place that will be hassle free, quick, and customer focused then I would recommend Belle Tire off Carpenter road. The person that helped me was Arielle I believe. Thank you again!

Just had a set of tires put on my truck. I ordered them 11/7 and set up the appointment then. On 11/11 I showed up on time for my appointment, and they started work. About an hour later, I overheard a conversation by the staff, and realized they were talking about my tires. Because they didn't have them. Shipping delay. Seems like someone could have let me know that and reschedule before they blew a couple hours of my time. (OTOH, their alignment guy was terrific and showed me I'd need to tighten up the bearings for an alignment.) Went back today for a noon appointment. Three hours later, they finally had the tires on the truck. They said they were short staffed, but they managed to get a guy with a Mercedes in and out with new tires and an alignment while I was waiting. As in, he got there a half hour after me, and was done an hour before me. When I drop a thousand on new tires, I'd at least like equal treatment.

★☆☆☆☆ ZERO STARS IF I COULD — A COMPLETE FAILURE FROM START TO FINISH This Belle Tire location delivered one of the worst automotive and customer service experiences I’ve ever had. What should have been a routine tire installation turned into 18 days of incompetence, denial, delays, and unprofessional behavior, costing me hundreds of dollars out of pocket for damage they caused. I brought my wife’s 2015 Lincoln MKC in on December 2nd for four Michelin CrossClimate2 tires. Nearly $1,100 later, I was left with a cracked rim (a serious safety hazard) and zero accountability. We used the night key drop. The next morning, I received multiple upsell calls—$1,100 for brakes and rotors (later quoted at $670 by a trusted shop), then an alignment, which I approved and ultimately received at no charge due to their mistakes. When I arrived to pick up the car, the rear passenger tire was nearly flat. Instead of addressing this safely, a technician drove the car on the flat tire into the bay. Completely unacceptable. I was told it was a “loose valve stem core.” After allegedly tightening it, techs checked the tire with soapy water—bubbles clearly showed a leak. Only then did they suddenly “discover” the rim was cracked. That wheel was not cracked when I brought the car in. No leaks. No damage. No issues—ever. The story kept changing: First it was one hidden crack Then it became three cracks None were noticed during inspection Yet I was told they “should have been caught before mounting” Their proposed solutions were insulting and unsafe: Weld the rim (absolutely not) Sell me a replacement at cost for damage they caused The Store Manager denied responsibility but admitted the damage should have been caught. His initial offer was $100 toward a replacement. We eventually agreed to split the cost of a direct replacement, despite the fact I brought the car in with four good, matching rims. I was told the rim would be ordered immediately on December 3rd. It wasn’t. Four business days later—after I followed up—I was told there was a 45% tariff and the rim wouldn’t be available until March. They admitted they knew this earlier and simply failed to follow up. My car had now been sitting at their shop for nearly a week with no communication. I was then offered a rim that “looked close” but would not match the others, again with a request to split the cost. When I pushed back, the Store Manager asked, “Where does this stop?” Answer: when Belle Tire stops making mistakes. He finally agreed to cover the full cost. A Regional Manager later agreed to cover expedited shipping. By then, I had done the work they failed to do and located a true direct replacement myself for $570. Belle Tire credited $300, leaving me $270 out of pocket. The replacement arrived December 19th. On December 20th, I returned for installation and requested: The original technician not work on my car A joint inspection of the new rim beforehand The inspection and install were handled properly. However, as I was leaving, the original technician stood nearby staring with his arms crossed and sarcastically said, “Thank you for shopping at Belle Tire.” Completely unnecessary. Completely unprofessional. After 18 days, I finally had my vehicle back. This experience was defined by poor workmanship, shifting stories, lack of accountability, terrible communication, and unprofessional behavior. Save yourself the time, money, stress, and risk. Do NOT take your vehicle to this Belle Tire location.

Jayden, at Belle Tire on Carpenter Road, is due for a raise. His boss, Kristoff, and the entire crew we're all great. Jaden was patient, helpful friendly. Not to mention excellent actor because he didn't seem to mind listening to this old lady with all of my tire questions! And it was free🤩
