After keeping my car for a week to do an alignment and resurface my wheel that was in an accident I got my car back with no alignment done and a poorly resurfaced wheel with improperly installed wheel weights. Not to mention they put a bunch of miles on my car. These are not good people.

Missed blatantly obvious damage, poor fitment, and godawful paint with tons of dirt in it. Argued with me about the missed damage and seen no issue with the poor quality of work and fitment of panels.Do yourself a favor and go next door to Lafontaine Collision. They fixed all the issues this shop caused. Avoid Calliber like plague.

I would highly recommend Caliber Collision Ypsilanti to anyone looking for collision repairs. The staff are friendly and knowledgable, and turned an unpleasant situation into a pleasant experience for me. Kayla took care of everything on the administration side and made the whole process very smooth and painless. She was also great about working appointments around my schedule and ended up getting me in for repairs much sooner than I originally thought. Debbie was my Service Advisor and I can't say enough nice things about her. It was obvious to me that she is extremely knowledgable and really cares about her customers. She walked me through every step of the process, told me exactly what to expect, and gave me tips on how to make it as seamless as possible. During the repairs she was in touch with my regularly to keep me updated on the status. The repair technicians are incredibly talented. I had a very large dent on the bedside of my truck behind the rear wheel and now I honestly can't even tell where it was. They did an amazing job matching the paint, as well. In addition to the impressive quality, they also had it done a full week ahead of what was initially estimated. I hope I don't need the services of a collision center again, but if I do, I will be going back to Caliber.

Unfortunately I had to have some body work on my new vehicle- but this body shop made my experience great. The staff were all so pleasant, the work is perfect and they finished earlier than expected. I would definitely recommend this location!!

Someone bumped the door of my daughter's brand new SUV. It had a scuff and what I thought was a dent. I took it to Caliber for an estimate. They looked at it and said it only needed to be buffed out. They took it in back and with in 5 minutes it was back, buffed and shined. It looked fantastic and they did not charge me. I offered to pay something, but they refused to accept anything. They could have charged me a lot of money to repair and paint the door and I would not have even known that it was such an easy fix. This place is friendly, honest and has great integrity. They have definitely gained my trust and business and I will refer them to anyone who needs a repair. Thank you Caliber. Our world needs more people like you.

Brought my car in with a misaligned bumper hoping for a repair quote and was given a song and dance that was almost a caricature of slimy salesmanship. The mechanic claimed that my bumper was "hanging on by a thread", that he wouldn't be able to give me a price until he took it apart and found out what was going on, and that, if he did take it apart and found a significant issue, he wouldn't allow me to drive it off their lot (lol what?). I of course declined to repair with Caliber and took my car to another local shop who simply offered to inspect the bumper damage for $70 labor. Upon inspection, they found that the bumper bracket was deformed but that the car was perfectly safe to drive. They gave me a straightforward quote for the repair ($200) and reinstalled the bumper WITH the deformed bracket so that I could have use of my car while they ordered a new bracket. A few days later, they fixed everything for a total of $270—as promised. So not only did the Caliber mechanic way exaggerate the seriousness of my bumper misalignment, but he also chose not to provide a straightforward quote and tried to put me in a position of not being able to refuse whatever price he'd eventually charge me. Very distasteful.

Best experience I've had in my 50 + years of driving at a collision shop. Elijah and Jeff kept me informed all the way through. Fantastic job on the front of my car, you would never know I had a accident. Obviously they have some skilled people working there. I highly recommend them to anyone for a smooth process in a not so great time for your car. They make it easier to navigate through.

I am very unhappy with the lack of communication and timelines in regard to not as much as the repair job but in the lack of concern in getting my car returned to me. Caliber Collision has had my car for three weeks to replace the back passenger side bumper. After two weeks of not having an update on the progress of the repair, I went there personally on Monday of the third week and asked for an update, I was told the only thing left to do was calibration and cleaning, I finally get a call on Thursday (three days later) and was told the only thing left to do now was the paperwork. Friday at noon I still had not heard from them so I called and once again I was told the only thing left to do was the paperwork. 3:30 no call, so I went in person and was told "I said I would call you, there are other people in front of you we are taking care of" as there was an individual waiting to get an estimate, an estimate over getting my car returned to me. Mind you my car was just sitting there in the front lot. So just how long does it take to do paperwork? It is now 4:30 and I still don't have my car.

I had an excellent experience at this collision shop! From start to finish, the team was professional, honest, and kept me informed throughout the entire repair process. Amy was great and went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle looked brand new again. The work was done on time, and the quality exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality auto body repairs!

I must report that my overall experience with Caliber Collision was a nightmare. I had been hit from behind by a driver without insurance. After my accident occurred, Caliber Collision called me within 40 minutes of the accident to see when I could bring my car in for evaluation. This should have been the first of many red flags to come, since I hadn’t even made it home yet nor gotten things squared away with my insurance company. From that point on they called me several times a day even after explaining to them that I needed to wait for my insurance company to finish their portion of their investigation as I have a clause in my insurance policy that would prevent me from paying my high deductible if the accident is found to be not my fault. I read reviews online and they all seemed to be positive including that in addition to being a collision shop, by even their own admission and website, they are also a mechanical shop as well. This should have been red flag number 2 as none of this is true, as they are strictly a collision shop. Once the insurance company finished their portion, I contacted Caliber to have my car evaluated. I called to make an appointment and after asking what time they opened (I work a very early schedule), I was told either 7:30 or 8:00. Red flag number 3 as a business should have a steady reliable time of business. I made my appointment for 8:00 just to be safe. I arrived on the day of my appointment on time and was told that there was no one there yet to look at my car. At 8:15, someone finally arrived. Things were looking up though as I met the nicest person Deb, who was courteous and honest. She looked over my car and gave me an estimate of it taking 4 total days to complete (including any mechanical issues that they might find due to the accident), as she ordered my damaged bumper right then and there. I made my appointment to drop off my car and got in contact with a rental car agency that Caliber recommended as they mentioned that I would receive a discount through them. This also was not true, as I received my own discount through my car insurance company. There was no communication from Caliber so I reached out the day before my car was due for completion only to be told that they ordered the incorrect bumper and didn’t like how it looked on my car. This should have been red flag number 4. They claimed that it would only be a few more days to complete, so at that time I renewed my rental car that I was paying out of pocket for. Again, no communication from Caliber so the day before my car was to be completed I called to get an update only to be told that my bumper had not arrived and they had no idea that the company they ordered from did not deliver on this certain day. Red flag number 5: How are you a collision shop and not know the deliver schedule of your distributors? At that point I renewed my rental car yet again. The day that my rental car was due to be returned I gave Caliber a call for an update and was told that they have no idea when my car would be completed. At that point I mentioned to them that I was paying out of pocket for my rental car and had “shade” thrown at me for not having rental car coverage on my car insurance policy. I was also told that they could give me my car back without a bumper and I could drive it until the new one arrives. What?!?!?! Talk about a disaster waiting to happen. I explained to them that I wanted them to pay for my remaining rental cost since it was now a week and a half into this disaster with no apparent end in sight. They initially resisted but after much shaming towards them, they got my request approved by their RD. This is literally the only positive thing that came of this situation. A few days later my car was completed, and I was told to show up between 3 and 4 pm for pickup. I arrive at 4 pm, and I did not receive my car until 5:15 pm. As a whole, this was probably the worst experience that I have had with car repairs. I should have listened to my gut and gone to Gerber instead, and so should you.

Caliber is a great place to have your car repaired. My representative kept me informed and diligently identified opportunities for improvement, addressing them effectively. I rated the shop a 4 because a couple of items needed to be redone to restore the car to its original state. However, they quickly accepted responsibility for that.

Debbie was my adjuster! Her Communication was phenomenal! Very informative! She also let me know that the first bumper that came in, wasn’t to her liking so she had them send it back and I love that she did that! It made me feel like she treated my car as if it was hers!

I was told that the repairs were complete and scheduled to pick up my car. When I arrived, I asked to review the repairs prior to paying the deductible. The repair was not to my satisfaction as the hood was touching the fender on the passenger side, was missing a push pin on the radiator support and I requested the headlight that was removed. Caliber Collision ensured that the repair would be completed and if there was no core charge on the headlight, I could have it the next day. They would call me back I received a call later that night told that the part was discarded even though it states in the contract, I could review the parts. Also, the fender to hood margin could not be fixed. I asked if the push pin was replaced and told she would have to check. I expressed my disappointment with this.

Most of us have heard the song It's the most wonderful time of the year. I must say it was the most wonderful experience I had with Caliber Collision and the supervisor Michael. I called the office to inquire about a blend actuator I was told by two automotive companies I needed to replace. Michael who was very professional, patient and knowledgeable gave me tips in regard how to run through the HVAC system, with changing the settings. I decided to stop by the shop the same day to recap and say thank you again. Michael advised me his company does not repair this type of service however they work with an outside company if I needed to schedule. Michael took a further step and did a quick check/test with my vehicle and from that day to this I do not hear the sound of wrapping paper. Thank you so much Michael and Team Caliber. God Bless you.

CC did a great job repairing my car and making it look brand new. They were timely and kept me updated throughout the entire process of what stage my car was at. They did a full walk through when I went to pick up the car to make sure all of my concerns were addressed.
