Top tier mechanic. Honest, efficient, and patient enough to explain exactly how my car is doing to a bit slower of a person like me.

Arrived on time to check out a Service Engine light. Mechanic rolled in in 1 hour late. Replaced spark plugs, charged $400 and did not solve anything. Machine still could not pinpoint problem. "For next step I recommend....." To -AVOID- this place.

Took my car today for changing Angel Light on my BMW. this mechanic does not even know how to replace a light. took 30 mins to realize the light i gave for replacement is aftermarket and does not fit. He does not even know from where he needs to replace the light. he is trying to do it from under the hood instead of removing the front tires and cover. This would hardly take 15 mins to replace both the lights and he took 30 mins for only right side light to open. I did not replace the light and asked him to keep back the original lights. should have an option to do negative ratings on this service center. Waste of my time waiting there.

Al is great Mechanic with a deep knowledge on all the inner workings of the car. But more importantly he’s a nice human being. I’ve been going to him for all my car problems for over two years now and will continue to do that for a long time.

I needed some work done on my BMW 530. Have had similar work done at the dealer over the last couple of years to the tune of $1600+ per visit as its not warranty work. Al was recommended to me, and I called to set an appointment that same day. Dropped the car off at 5pm, and by noon the next day I had it back. He changed the plugs, tuned it up, flushed the system, replaced filters, etc. All for under $700. He also spent about 30 minutes answering questions about another car I am about to purchase. I will be going back to Al for all my repairs and maintenance from now on.

I have been taking my BMW to Al since 2002. Does a great job of preventing issues beforehand and Al still has this car going strong despite being a 19 year old car with 275,000 miles. Definitely recommend!

I have been a very satisfied customer of Al since 1991 or 25 years. I trust him blindly for all my car repairs. He has repaired BMW, Mercedes and Lexus for us as well as my motorcycles and even a lawnmower. Al is very knowledgeable and experienced. I have recommended Al to friends who are all very satisfied customers today.

Al at Bellevue Motor Works did a great job on my BMW, which had some complex issues he was easily able to diagnose and repair. My dad's been going to him for a couple of decades but this was my first time bringing my car in. Al was very transparent and trustworthy throughout the experience. He was able to keep the cost down too. Will certainly be using him in the future.

Al has been my mechanic for 10 years. He is extremely knowledgeable, works quickly and charges very reasonably. He is especially knowledgeable on European Cars, literally like an encyclopedia of car knowledge. He is also the friendliest mechanic I have ever had work on my cars. He has fixed my SAAB, Audi, and BMWs perfectly and reasonably. I highly recommend Al at Bellevue Motor Works for any and all auto repairs.

My Uncle had been taking his older Mercedes to Al for a few years and had great things to say about the service. I’m writing about Al. That same uncle came came down with dementia. We sold his car to Al and my uncle accidentally left $1200 in cash in the car. No one knew. Al called my Mom who was helping sell his car and move him to tell her he found the cash stashed deeply in a hidden pocket. Wow! What a great, honest man! If you’re looking for help with your car one thing’s for sure…Al will be totally honest about the work and cost.

Al is the best mechanic I used as a 20+ year car owner. Recently my Mercedes was leaking coolant badly. The dealer said three things have to be replaced and quoted me a hefty price. Al was very professional, honest and knowledgeable. He diagnosed my car and only suggested things which really needed to be replaced. In the end he replaced only one thing out of the three which the dealer suggested and saved me thousands of dollars. Definitely recommend Al to anyone, and I will come back to him with my car needs.

I recently took my 2016 BMW to Al for service, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Al is an incredibly knowledgeable mechanic who not only serviced my car thoroughly but also took the time to walk me through specific issues that needed attention. These were things that had been overlooked by BMW’s authorized service centers in the past. Al’s attention to detail and expertise made me feel confident that my car was in the right hands. If you’re looking for a trustworthy mechanic who truly knows what he’s doing, I highly recommend Al.

Every once in a while, you meet somebody who restores your faith in humanity. Last Saturday, I was just getting ready to leave on the final leg of our move to another State when I had a car problem. I had to get on the road as soon as possible. I called this Shop and the owner Al said he would fit me in despite a busy schedule. He stayed late in order to get me back on the road and I was able to complete my move in time. Al is a super nice guy, very capable, and soft spoken. I will go out of my way to use this shop any time… he actually cares about his customers and doing a great job. Also, reasonable price wise.

Al is a good guy but technically incompetent. He messed up the wiring on my 2020 AMG on a simple door hinge job. First the door was misaligned, letting air in. (Which he later fixed Then came the kicker. My car has a bunch of codes and my reverse camera is inverted (left is right and right is left) and Al claims he doesn’t have anything to do with this. Touching the CAN bus (the wiring) on ANY part of the car can affect any other part of the car’s electronics (ChatGPT it to verify if you want) Please take your car to any other shop unless you don’t care about the car. Al is a good guy, but doesn’t know how to work on modern European cars. Big mistake on my part to bring it here Edit: Al started blaming me and coming up with fabricated records to show that it was my fault. After a week of driving I noticed my door mirror is also loose so he must’ve damaged that in the process too. He then said he would fix it but when I asked him if he has the equipment to fix it, he said no. I gave Al the benefit of doubt thinking he’s a good guy, but I didn’t realize what a manipulative schemer he turned out to be - crossing every line on how to interact with customers (yelling, screaming, insulting)

I took my 2004 BMW 325Ci to Al after what I suspected was a belt related failure that caused my power steering to go out, the car to overheat, and the battery to stop charging. Since this car is my daily driver, I explained that I needed the repair done quickly. Al was able to fit me in on a Saturday around 11 a.m., diagnose the issue (serpentine belt and water pump), order the necessary parts, and complete the work the same day for a very reasonable price. He was great to work with and even let me look over his shoulder while explaining exactly what went wrong. The pricing was extremely fair, and the service was honest and efficient. Highly recommend.
