Took 2.5 weeks for what was estimated to take 1 day to repair. Rat droppings throughout inside of car upon pick up. Car was still not repaired, had to take to Tom Williams to get the job done. Customer service was extremely poor throughout the entire ordeal. Don't waste your money.

Paul and his guys know their stuff. He's done a ton of work for me, and it's always quality work at half the price of the dealer. If you want an old school mechanic who eats and sleeps and breathes these cars, this is your guy. He knows a Benz inside and out, and makes sure the work is right. A good honest mechanic is hard to find, so I'm glad I found this one.

Call the day before to have my car looked at, they told me to bring it by the next morning to look at it to see if they could repair it . Got to the shop this morning the owner Paul came out and was very rude . I use to take my other car to him years ago he was always nice. I don’t know what his problem was today but I will never go back. I have never made a post on any business because I have two, but this is unacceptable and no customer deserve to be mistreated. Paul work on that attitude!!!!

In the middle of our road trip to our fathers funeral in New Orleans we broke down in Steele. Called Mercedes dealership and was told couldn’t get to our car for a week. Called Birmingham Benz and said bring her in. We got towed and Paul fixed our ML350 in a few hours so we could get to our fathers funeral on time. Was the best experience ever. Straight shooting, quick turnaround. No Star software machine, but if you have a less than new vehicle Paul will give it a shot. Somehow he missed the memo on a requirement to be either condescending or a convivial thief that most Fatherland mechanics seem to have. He's a good guy. Recently I left my car for brakes. It was grinding in front and a rotor was scored. They are big cross drilled AMG units and I was prepared for an eye watering invoice. He called me after a bit to explain I'd picked up some debris....brakes were fine, no charge. Just about any other place would have performed the (unnecessary) work I'd requested. Good Shop!

My wife’s car needed a new battery so I replaced it myself with one from autozone. When I started up the car with the new battery installed, the SRS airbag light came on and would not go off. Side note - Mercedes is ridiculous and makes it a PITA to DIY any sort of service on your car, they want you to come back to the dealership so they can make more $$$. Well my wife told me about this place she found online and I decided to call them about the light, expecting to pay at least something for them to fix it but I wanted to totally avoid the dealership regardless. When I called and explained the issue, the nice girl on the phone told me to bring it in and they’d reset the computer to see if that’d fix it. So that’s what we did, dropped it off one day, called them the next morning and they confirmed that a computer reset fixed the problem and there would be no charge, even better than expected! So even though my issue was minuscule compared to others, I highly recommend this place for anyone that owns a Benz and doesn’t want to visit the dealer. They seem very honest and respectable, good people!
