I’m writing this review in hopes of someone seeing this from the dealership so they can make changes on how they follow up with their customers. I was contacted by a gentleman a month ago asking how my car is doing and if I would be interested in trading it in as I purchased my current vehicle from BMW of Tyler. I was out of the country and was told by the salesman that he would email me trade-in value and send me several vehicle options. I have yet to hear back from him. Last week I was emailed randomly by Amber, which I’m assuming was a generic email, but I responded and never heard a word. I’m in the market for a new vehicle, but I can honestly say that I won’t be buying one here. I’m not going to beg someone to sell me a vehicle. Do better BMW or Tyler! Do better!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with John Richardson at the BMW in Tyler. I've had the pleasure of purchasing not one, not two, but three BMWs from him, and each time was an absolute delight. John is incredibly knowledgeable about the cars and helped me find the perfect one to suit my needs. But what really sets John apart is his customer service. He goes above and beyond to make sure his clients are happy and satisfied with their purchases. He's patient, kind, and always willing to answer any questions I have. I truly appreciate how much he values his customers and their time. If you're in the market for a BMW, I highly recommend working with John Richardson. Dylan went above and beyond to make me a deal on a car that is extremely hard to find. I got a better deal on a new car than someone who tried to take me on a pre owned locally here in Houston. Had a wonderful experience in my most recent purchase my used vehicle from BMW of Tyler! My family had purchased a vehicle here 20 years ago and had a pleasant experience. We still chat about it! It was refreshing to come back yesterday and have another pleasant experience. Our salesperson TR took the time to listen to our needs and provided a no hassle, clear and prompt service. Both TR and Rhonda were easy to visit with and provided efficient and genuine services. Highly recommend TR at BMW of Tyler for your next vehicle!

DONT EVER DO A LEASE WITH BMW!! This place is an all around joke. Unprofessional and untrained Sales Team!! I should have went to Dallas and that’s my recommendation to you. There lease is a trap that keeps you tied into your car no matter if you want out or not. They expect you to pay the entire lease upfront if you try to get out of the car and then expect you to leave the car there for them to sell and make even more money on. It’s a total SCAM!! Stay away from this place.

Absolutely loved my experience at BMW of Tyler! My salesman was Aaron McDade and he took amazing care of me! I purchased my first BMW and was blown away at not only the badass car I got but the customer service that I experienced throughout the entire process was first class! The owner was present and hands on with my car deal, finance was very personable and service was hilarious!! Love my car and extremely glad that I purchased with Aaron and his team!

Update… bought our 3rd BMW for our son. Special thanks to Devin and Jim the owner. Best service and wonderful experience again. Lifelong customers. Picked up my 2nd BMW Saturday from BMW of Tyler. 1 year ago an X5 for my wife and this past weekend M2 competition for myself. Let me say that Devin our salesman took exceptional care of us with zero pressure and no games. Honest, helpful, courteous, and a genuinely great person. By far the 2 easiest and uncomplicated purchases of vehicles we've ever made. And we've purchased many over the years. We will only shop at BMW of Tyler from here on out. And a special thanks to the owner Jim. Jim went out of his way to make our purchase special and went above and beyond to be helpful and so generous..... and literally rolled out the red carpet for us. Cant say enough about Jim and Devin. Wonderful dealership, exceptional service with my wife's X5, and great people. Another quick note......i contacted the owner Jim about window tinting this week. He said bring the car over, tell me what you want, and ill take care of it. So I dropped off the car Monday night, Jim had a new vehicle waiting for me to drive while he took mine to the tint shop. Had it parked out front ready for me after work today. I just gotta say Jim.....thank you. For the exceptional service.....you've spoiled my wife and I! We are so proud to be customers.

I have had my bmw 8 months. It was preowned but it has some hidden issues. Since I’ve had the car I’ve had to replace the battery, the car shakes like crazy, and it has a coolant leak now. They buff the car to cover the front end damages. After the first wash I can visibly see yellow streaks on the front end of my car. When I went to trade the car back in they said no because they know they sold me a lemon!! I’ve bought several cars from Peltier and never had any issues in the first year of having it. They fraud and I will never do business with them ever again!!

Today I pulled in to the service drive with somewhat of an emergency. My son who I gifted my 09 528i and purchased the oil change program from( BMW Tyler mind you) he tell me he did an oil change and I asked if he took it to bmw he replied no. So after asking more discovery questions he got the low oil message and decided to put 7 qts of oil in the car. I immediately took it to BMW and explained to the service writer the situation told me I need an appointment which I understand. That being said it was an emergent situation and I had already purchased the oil change program for his car. The service writer again told me that I needed to make an appointment and they could not help me today. That’s some quality service folks. I ended up leaking and making a u turn to the nearest spot for help which was Valvoline . Those guys got me in right away and I paid for a full oil change despite being turned away from bmw whom I had already paid for this service. Thanks BMW

I was unable to reply to the response i received to my review, I will include the response below, That being said I am not sure where you gained your information from ? Possibly the same person on the service drive that was unable to help me in a time of need, I did not want any lights or noises looked into what so ever and never mentioned neither of the two. What I did ask for was a simple drain of the multiple quarts of oil my son added on top of a full crank case of oil or yes an oil change as I stated to this review originally and to the female on the service drive that greeted me when i pulled in. (summary) car was over filled with multiple quarts of oil - I asked BMW for an assist as I already have paid for the oil change pkg that costs how ever many hundreds of dollars for x amount of years on this particular car - BMW declined to assist me in a time of need. I was in disbelief that a fine establishment of this nature would not help a customer out in such a time of need. Now the response I received below to my original review 75% inaccurate information. Good Morning. We reviewed the experience you had on our Service Drive and our notes indicate that you arrived at 3:25pm wanting lights diagnosed, a noise looked at, and an oil change completed. Our Service Advisor informed you that we would not be able to get all of these items completed in one day and attempted to set you up with a Service Appointment. You indicated that this wouldn't work for you, but never acknowledged the 7 quarts of oil that were previously added. After failing to schedule an appointment, you pulled off the Service Drive at 3:28pm. We are more than happy to help with future concerns, but depending on the work required, it may require an appointment.

Horrible experience working with this dealership! I would go elsewhere, Travis from BMW of Tyler is a rude jerk. I was working with Blake from BMW of Tyler, who ultimately ended up quitting here. He was great, super personable. The dealership wouldn’t allow me to e-sign and with an upcoming international trip I decided to hit pause on the transaction as I didn’t want it to arrive after I had left. A few weeks later I noticed the car was still for sale. I reached out to Blake, he told me he’s no longer working there and he would have someone reach out. Travis called and I said hey is there any room to move on price, they were basically at this price 3 weeks ago. He lectured me about how they’ve dropped the price $7,000 (yeah over 3 months) and I said well I guess maybe you didn’t price the car well to begin with? Travis was just rude and said where are you calling from? Yeah this is the best price in the country. Ended up hanging up on the guy! I would never buy a car from here!!!

I've been meaning to submit a review for a while. When I purchased my car back in May 2025, my salesman was Toni. He was very knowledgeable, he knows every little detail about a BMW you can imagine. He was fun to interact with and helpful getting the sale completed. He made sure all of my settings were updated for my preferences and delivered the vehicle that same day. He even noted my birthday and texted me that day :) Really above and beyond. He has definitely earned a lifelong customer here. Fast forward a month and the (shark fin) malfunctioned. The sales team/management team worked together and came up with a solution to get that covered and replaced for me at no cost. To say I am grateful is an understatement and I cannot convey the amount of appreciation I have for that. A couple of months later, my driver window wouldn't automate and I took the car in again. There happened to be a starter recall but they said they didn't have parts in yet. My service Advisor, Jennifer, connected with parts and located a starter. She made sure that they replaced that starter and corrected the window issue in one trip for me! Again, I was very grateful and appreciated that she made sure I got taken care of. I have been very pleased with my interactions with BMW Tyler and everyone that has assisted me.

The salesman quit a few days after he lied to me about the new BMW I purchased. I called BMW and they investigated my complaint and had the owner of BMW Tyler call me. He was useless and absolutely did not care, he said he’d look into it and call me back but didn’t which is bad business and pathetic. I’m only giving 2 stars because the service department is great.

Just purchased a new m4 convertible here. Was an absolutely amazing experience. I flew across the country to do business here and am so happy I did. Time was respected, service was prompt and professional, clear numbers, everything was fantastic. New note: I called my local dealer for winter tires and basically was told they were out of stock and nothing they could do. BMW of Tyler called me just to check on my new purchase and I mentioned winter tires. Hours later they are ordered, they found a way to get me a set of tires and are dealing with the shipping hassle to get them to me even though I am nowhere close. I am consistently impressed with this dealer and they have gone above and beyond to earn my business. This is exactly what buying a luxury car should be like! Super impressed with this dealership.
