I can only give Bobs Transmission shop 5 stars and I feel like that’s less than what he deserves. He went above and beyond to make sure that I got the best transmission for my Hummer and something that would last. I’m really happy with how my shifts are firm but not annoying. I purchased a few heavy duty parts on my own and one was a factory defect and even though it was not Bobs problem he worked with his supplier to get a hard to find replacement part delivered at a moments notice. Bad news is I need another transmission in my other truck, Good news is I have found the right Man for the job! I never review anything hardly but I was treated so well and helped out so much as in 6 phone calls asking questions and 1 visit and even though Bob was busy he took time for me! Get your stuff fixed right and get it done at a fair price and ask for Bob! His shop is cleaner and better organized than my house! Lol

Bob is an honest hard working man. I would trust his judgement with anything transmission related. He honors his warranty/guarantee so you can rest assured that you are in good hands when you come here. I was weary at first but as soon as I found out the type of person he is I was relieved and knew I was in good hands. He even dealt with the warranty company to get them to cover more for the car repairs and ended up saving me way more money. My whole family is sold on his quality of work and now whenever we have a problem we just call Bob.

I’ve spent many years in the Las Vegas valley finding the best shops around. This is my transmission specialist.. Honest and knowledgeable. My truck was done before I expected. I’ve turned wrenches throughout my life and the work that was done was quality and honesty beyond my expectation. Looking forward to doing business with them in the future.. Thank you Bob! Update: Just had them replace a clutch on my Jeep on October 2025. They did a great job as usual. This is the only Transmission shop for me. Thanks again!

Bob saved me a lot of money. As a woman, you always want a trustworthy mechanic. I was told by another auto shop, after a transmission flush, that my transmission would cost $500 to diagnosis and may require a rebuild/would have to be towed to a shop in north Vegas. I decided to go to Bob for a second opinion. Bob looked at my car for free and said he couldn't find an issue with the transmission. He's very honest! Thank you Bob!

So where do I begin? We bought an Impala from what I now believe is a less than reputable dealership that Had to know the car needed a new transmission, had an oil leak, and needed new brakes! (But that's a story for another time) The dealership was responsible enough however to provide a 30-day warranty.... Thank goodness! And lucky for us Bob accepts extended warranties! Bob was very open and honest with us regarding this Very expensive job right before the holidays. He was able to get the warranty company to pay a good portion of the job up front, but the rest was out of pocket. He strategically streamlined the repairs so he could do all of them at once rather than have to take the car apart multiple times thus saving us some labor costs! He also noticed our brakes were in horrific shape and could not see himself letting us drive away like that, so he added those to the repairs! All I know is that it is difficult to find a mechanic you can trust, but I truly believe Bob to be a fair, honorable and trustworthy mechanic! Thank you Bob! I will be sure to refer you to others who need a mechanic and to continue to use you for our future repairs!

Fuel Pump replacement. I was referred to Bob's Transmission by a friend. I called Bob on Monday morning and explained I smelled gas on my 2014 GMC Terrain. He scheduled me for Wednesday morning. Bob called and explained the Fuel Pump needed replaced price was fair and I Received a call on Thursday morning the vehicle was ready for pickup. Highly recommend Bob's Transmission. Took my van into Bob's transmission shop cause I thought I had transmission fluid all over the place...Bob checked it out..good news transmission was ok turned out to be a problem with the engine, it was oil leaking instead. Bob called me gave me the diagnosis, price and had the major oil leak repaired the SAME DAY!!!! PRICE WAS THE BEST IN TOWN!!! Workmanship was PERFECT...What really impressed me , it's my work van n really needed it repaired to get back on the road and Bob did exactly that, had me back on the road same day to run my business!!!! Iam 60 years old and been in and out of repair shops all my life And believe me the experience with Bob at Bob's transmission was one of the best if not the Best!!!!! Took our company van to Bob to have the transmission rebuilt. Then turned around and took it back to Bob a week later to have it tuned up. While test driving it after tuning it up, Bob discovered the transmission wasn't shifting correctly. Bob immediately called me, explained he had to tear the transmission down again - and found the problem was a faulty new valve body from the factory he had just put in, and replaced it at no cost to Ecodry...Few mechanics that I am familiar would have acted this honorably given it cost Bob's Transmission money...That says all one needs to know about Bob and his service - honest, professional and they did all they could to get the van back to me as quickly as possible given they knew I use it every day for carpet cleaning jobs... No one likes to have to take their vehicle into a transmission shop. But knowing that Bob's Transmissions came highly recommended by a mechanic I completely trust, it made my trip to Bob's stress-free. After my replacement transmission arrived for my GMC pickup, Bob called to have me bring my pickup in the next day. 24 hours after bring it in, my pickup was repaired. My new transmission has a 3-year nationwide warranty with unlimited miles. Bob is a great guy and knows how to take care of a customer. I highly recommend this shop.

I called and asked a few simple questions about having my transmission serviced. Bob answered them with confidence. I scheduled an appointment and on arrival Bob knew my name, verified my phone number and got my keys. Over the phone he said my truck would be done close to noon sure enough Bob called at noon and my truck was ready. Drove my truck from the shop to searchlight and back home. Trans temp usually ran around 185/190 ish and never got above 170 on the trip. Trans shifts like new. Thank you Bob's transmissiin for your service and expertise.

This shop came to me as a recommendation. As soon as I called to inquire about the work I needed done with pricing, it felt like I had been doing business with Bob for many years. Very friendly, very knowledgeable and VERY reasonable prices. Yes, the parking situation is not pleasant and it's not a big shop. However, the customer service, pricing and knowledge more than makes up for it. I will definitely pass along this gem of a shop and continue to use them without hesitation.
