I had an issue where my door wouldn't open on my wheelchair van on the side where the ramp comes down. I had to leave my teenage daughter, who is in a wheelchair, at the doctor's office and go to the nearest auto repair place for help. These guys were so great! They all came out and tried their best to get the door to slide open and in the end they gave me some boards and plywood to fashion a makeshift ramp on the other side of the van. It worked great and we were able to be on our way. I really didn't know what we were going to do and I appreciated their help! They didn't even charge me a dime!

Jim is the best. I feel that all the staff are trustworthy and thorough as long as you communicate exactly what you need during the visit. I especially like that when I’m about to take a trip I can ask them to check pretty much everything and replace as needed. They also call me to verify that I want them to proceed. I have never had a negative experience at this auto shop.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with my experience from start to finish. I went in because I was told by Valvoline that my battery needed to be replaced. I called Jim's and was told I could drop off my car on Wednesday night. I called when I was on my way, no answer. I got there before close and they had closed early. I figured out where to leave my keys and guessed on where to park my car. They did call back and apologize. I get it, things happen. Next, I got my "quotes" for repair work needed. I needed a few things. I opted to do some of the work but not the battery replacement because it was going to be $300 which is rather high for this area. My bill should have been around $400 for the work I had done, but when I was giving the total, it was almost $600. Not ok. They had accidently not sent me one of the quotes that was over $150 and also charged me over $45 to test my battery which I already new was bad. They apologized again, but did not offer to remedy the mistake, except that they would "help me out next time." Lastly, when I went to pick up my car, I asked if I could pay by card. I was then told there would be a fee. I said that would have been nice to know BEFORE I came in. I totally, get that a business is charged for using a credit card machine, but let people know there options before since the fee would have cost me almost another $20. All around, not happy with this experience at all. Be wary!

Jim and all his employees are well trained long-term mechanics who really know their business. They also have Jim’s positive personality who is a serious businessman with a great sense of humor and a dedication to doing things right the first time every time. His employees share that same dedication. I had LED bulbs installed in my front headlights and backup lights in my 2003 Corvette convertible. The change in being able to see at night was spectacular. It’s a great safety feature to be able to see like all the newer car drivers can now. I highly recommend JIM. He is honest, prices are fair. He delivers on what he repaired. I am sure you will enjoy, Yes, enjoy working with him.
