Had a screw in my tire causing a leak and just happened to be driving by on my way to an appointment. Asked John if I could stop by a couple hours later, he said no problem and later fixed it in 15 minutes. Enabled us to get back home to NJ with no worries. Great experience, thanks again John!

My car got a flat tire and I pulled into the nearest shop. It turned out great. They were professional and kind. Got me on my way as quick as they could for a fair price. Couldn't recommend them more!

The absolute best experience I've had at an auto shop! Everyone inside was so friendly and I'm Deaf myself, and there is a Deaf mechanic there as well! Made the conversation easier! Go here for all your needs, won't regret it!

Excellent experience here. We were traveling through Boston and my tire started leaking air. I was here at 7:45 am, a few minutes after opening and they were already busy, I think I was #6 in line. They still managed to squeeze me in without an appointment and get me on the way before noon with just 2 mechanics on duty.

I drive an expensive car and sometimes you get concerns that you may be taken advantage of at an auto shop. I'm pleased to share that the owner and his staff were incredible, honest, and helped me with my situation. They've earned my trust and I'll be back if my car has further needs in the future.

. My windshield wipers were not functioning so I brought my car into the shop. Their team quickly identified a small issue, fixed it on the spot, and did not charge me for the small fix. They were very friendly and kind and I will look forward to returning in the future!

Great experience. Dropped my car off in the morning and had it fixed and ready for pick up by the afternoon. I had initially taken it to another neighborhood mechanic where they kept it for days and didn’t resolve the issue. Thank you to Brighton Auto!

Charged me $320 just to change tires I already purchased - JUST for the labor costs. On Google the costs estimated $8-$22 per tire labor costs for reference. Disappointed because they are relatively close to my house and had done previous work to the car. They were unwilling to hear my concerns after the fact. Be sure to check the pricing before getting work done. Never assume.

Great honest workers. I needed work done on my car. They were busy that day, still got it in and done that day. Even though they were busy they made sure their work was done right. I would go back to them anytime. Most friendly and honest service around.

"once is by chance, twice is a coincidence, three times is a pattern" Big shoutout to the Brighton Auto Service team for their repeated truly-honorable and professional servicing of my beloved daughter's auto challenges and needs; it's never easy being a Dad 300 miles away and her experiences with you are a comfort. Thanks for slowing a few grey hairs.

If you are looking for an auto repair shop that goes above and beyond, look no further than Brighton Auto Service. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. They took the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explained the repairs my car needed. The service was prompt and efficient, and I was back on the road in no time. What really impressed me, though, was the attention to detail. Not only did they fix the issue I came in for, but they also took the time to check for any other potential issues and gave me recommendations for future maintenance. The pricing was fair and transparent, with no surprises or hidden fees. They always call me to check in before they do any repairs and I always feel confident in the quality of work done on my car and grateful for the excellent customer service I received. Seriously, the crew at Brighton Auto Service are SO KIND! Overall, I highly recommend Brighton Auto Service for anyone in need of auto repairs. They truly go above and beyond to provide exceptional service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Had a leak in my rear tire from running over a nail. Billy was very accommodating and was able to fit me into the very busy schedule ahead of the holiday. Quick, efficient, and fair-priced, with great customer service. I would highly recommend Billy and the team at Brighton Auto Service.

I had to get my parking brake done and replace a rear rotor. I had the parts and just needed the labor to install them. The other mechanics in the area… suck. One of the mechanics I called said they won’t accept my parts because they use their own parts and tried selling me on the parts with a warranty blah, blah, blah. I hung up on them. Called another mechanic and they were so rude I didn’t even ask for a price. I called Brighton auto center. Billy handled everything so well that this review is mostly for him and the incredible people that helped him get this work done. I couldn’t recommend these guys more. Good work is hard to come by and these people just get it done.

I set up an appointment over the phone last week, dropped my car off after hours for a transmission fluid swap the next day. I called in the afternoon for an update and was told they had no idea why my car was there and that the work couldn’t be done that day. I was told it was my fault for not leaving my information despite having set up the appointment days prior. I can’t speak to the quality of work performed here but the poor logistics will not have me return. Edit in response to owner’s reply: I recognize I did not provide that information but that reiterates the point that I was not asked for it and then rudely blamed for bringing in my car for a preset appointment. I’ve never been to a shop that doesn’t at least ask for a name and number over the phone. And to your point about multiple Imprezas, my appointment was for a 2015 WRX to have transmission fluid swapped and was told your board read simply, “Subaru transmission”. 2015 is the first model year where the WRX was its own model and not based on the Impreza chassis. Blaming customers for a lack of due diligence isn’t going to spread goodwill towards your business.

My hard brake line broke on my car. They were able to take me in within two days and worked with me regarding drop off. One day turn around. Fair pricing and brakes are working as they should. Clear estimate for best and worst case scenarios. They made the best case scenario happen. The mechanics there are nice. Prices are fair. No nonsense. I'll be back.

I made an appointment for a 4-wheel alignment, rotation, and a diagnostic on my power steering system and engine, as I knew there were some potential issues. I dropped my car off an hour after they opened, expecting to pick it up sometime after noon. They didn’t end up even starting my alignment until 4:30pm, an hour before they close. Fine, I get that a shop like this can be busy. When I came to pick up my car, the price of the alignment was $50 more than what was listed on the website. Also, they didn’t rotate my tires or check my power steering or engine. Guy at the counter said “We were so busy today, you’re lucky we even got to your car!” As if I hadn’t made an appointment two days prior! Anyone with half a mechanical mind knows a tire rotation takes 5 minutes on a lift. These guys are at best overworked, and frankly dishonest and lazy at worst. Don’t waste your time or money. How they have such good reviews is beyond me. EDIT: Regarding the owner’s response: That’s all well and good, and I probably wouldn’t have made this review had this been told to me when I picked up my car. Instead, the employee I spoke to told me that y’all were too busy to check on my issues, not that you had and verified it was fine. He even spoke to you after I asked about those issues and told me specifically that you said that you HAD NOT checked them. You didn’t do the rotation like I asked, and you charged me more than was listed. How can I be satisfied with such service?

A BAD experience here. The shop is suspected did a bad job for my car. And their attitude towards this problem is insolent and rude. Basically I have done a car maintenance here, including oil change, filter change, and sark plunges replacement. The car CANNOT started and the check engine light is on in the next day with ONLY 6 miles drive. So I called their manager and report this issue. Then, he refused to take the responsibility, showing his impatient on the phone call and letting me call the towing service. Later, the car is surprisingly started by the helpful and friendly towing service guy and was brought to the shop. But the shop told me they are not able to find anything wrong… though the manager said I can bring my car to them at any time when it goes wrong, I still feel insecure. Maybe I will check this problem at somewhere else before my road-trip.

They put in a new starter and recharged my AC. They 'changed my oil' without informing me and charged me $120 for it, saying that the engine had no oil in it after I had put it in myself a month ago. I felt like I got bamboozled. They do a quick turnaround, just check your oil before dropping off your car. Edit: Changed review based on further communications - turns out I was too harsh.

I gave a star because it’s the only way I could find to add this comment, otherwise zero star I brought my car here at the beginning of October because it was jumping every time I stopped and the brakes were in bad shape. They told me there, every problem the car had and I told them all that I wanted was my car fixed so I had no issues. The repair costed me almost 1400 counting a labor of $899. Now on October the 16th my car started jumping and now with the addition that the motor stop running while driving. So the only thing they fixed was the brakes (so far who knows) And when I was paying at that time the mechanic told me”this is the part I like” Which is not a bad thing to say because it’s his job, but man, be true, be honest, be fair and professional, believe me, you will feel much better in that way. Wish you well, but I don’t think I can return here.
