A+ review for Jose and Foreign Auto Clinic. My daughter living in Boston, a great distance from Dad in Chicago had need for what we deduced was a wheel bearing replacement. She took her car to another shop that will remain nameless (rhymes with wirestone) to have the work done. Getting it back something was obviously wrong, and she took it back and was told that an ABS wire was broken as, they said, sometimes happens with this job and that they couldn't get the part right away. My daughter didn't like the treatment she was getting there and got extremely frustrated. I searched for another shop in her area and came across Foreign Auto Clinic. Jose examined the car and found that the ABS wire was not broken, and the new bearing had been installed upside down (didn't even know that was possible). The issue was corrected, and she was on her way and now running great. Price was fair, service was respectful and extremely knowledgeable. Jose now has a permanent customer.

Ran into a bit of a pickle when my car battery died on my Volkswagen. I had NAPA telling me I needed the OEM battery from Volkswagen in order for Volkswagen to be able to “reset” my battery indicator. These OEM batteries are about double the price so I’m very happy I called Foreign Auto Clinic. Ricardo was able to quickly confirm that this was not true and that I could use any battery (with the correct ratings) to replace my dead one. I was able to go back to an NAPA, get a new non-OEM battery, and now I’m back on the road. Thank you Roberto, these guys definitely saved me from getting ripped off by Volkswagen!

I don’t usually leave reviews but I felt compelled because how appreciative I am of the service here. They got my car in immediately when my brakes failed when everywhere else I called was booking out over a week. I went to Jose at Foreign Auto Clinic for more than three years for everything from an oil change to a broken motor mount. He is super friendly and pays attention to what's actually going on with your car, rather than patching one problem and ignoring something else. Jose is clear about the work he is doing, provides prompt service, and his prices are very fair. We recently moved away from the area and are genuinely sad that we can no longer get our car serviced at Foreign Auto Clinic. Thanks for everything, Jose!!!

Even though in the end he didn't have the right equipment/resources to resolve it, he helped me think through the next steps and was kind every step of the way. Ricardo and his team are amazing. I have a 2013 ML350 diesel, which I gave to my daughter 5 years ago. She recently return to MA after going to grad School in TX. The MB dealership failed her inspection. It needed a new oil pan, front axel work, and several other smaller items. The dealer's quote was more than the car was worth!!. Ricardo, did all the work, got the car inspected and did it at a substantial lower rate than the dealership quoted( the MB Dealer also charged me $250 just for the quote!!). I am very impressed with the quality of workmanship and ease of doing business with Ricardo. If you are looking for great work at a fair price for you Benz, Foreign Auto Clinic is the place to go!! One of the best service auto repair I've ever experienced. My son is a college student in Boston and need emergency repair to his VW Jetta. Ricardo treated him with the utmost courtesy and gave him a very fair price to repair the broken suspension spring. He treated him so well, we had Ricardo install new brakes and rotors while the car was in for repairs. He priced all the repairs extremely fairly and didn't price gouge like other repair centers. He literally treated us like family. I literally can't say enough GREAT things about Ricardo and his auto repair service. PLEASE don't hesitate one bit bringing you car to Foreign Auto Clinic. We couldn't be happier and will be getting our car serviced there for now on. Two thumbs up and FIVE STAR SERVICE!

Jose and his team were great. I got into an accident on my way to NYC; my car was able to make it back just fine but it needed a lot of work. I brought it in just before the Christmas and NYE holidays but even then he gave me a quick turn around (I think it was ready before NYE but I was out of town at that point). I got the car back and you could hardly even tell I was in an accident. It drives great. I would definitely go back.

Bait and switch scammers. They give you a price over the phone, then they confirm the price after checking the car in person and then when it's time to pay, they come up with BS excuses to charge more for the work done: oversight in the quote, it took longer to do the work, I didn't know X, Y, Z....geez. You can save yourself a headache and find a reputable, honest provider elsewhere.

Ricardo is the man. My partner's car failed inspection at another location (they don't do inspections here) for front end play and all 4 brake pads. Came to Ricardo and the only issue was the back brakes (which we knew needed to be replaced). Ricardo and his team got those brakes replaced in a few hours and saved us from being scammed. He also wrote a note saying the front brakes were fine and that there was no front end play so I could get it re-inspected at the same place and they couldn't say those things were still an issue. The people who did the inspection then passed the car without comment. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so.
