I recently had a muffler issue with my vehicle that I needed to have fixed right away. I decided to try Factory auto service and I couldn't be happier with the experience I had. Owen the owner was very professional and courteous and he fixed my muffler in a timely manner. I would recommend this shop to anyone. It's where I'll take my car from now on.

It is with pleasure that I write this review on behalf of my myself and husband. We have been using Factory Auto Service for a few years now and have no complaints. We are pleased with the service that we receive. We have an Acura and Civic and this company have done a great job with the repairs and maintenance. Some issues that we've had in the past weren't sufficiently assessed and repaired properly by other service providers. However, now that this company is our premier auto mechanic provider, those issues are now of the past. The owner is very polished and knowledgeable about automobiles. He takes the time to educate his clients which we appreciate very much. When our car is being serviced by the company, we are confident that they will be able to address the issue with precision and ensure that safety is a priority! They always successfully diagnose and complete the repairs and within a reasonable timeframe. We are always pleased with their services, which prompts us to be return customers. Interaction with them is easy as we are presented with options which makes it convenient for us as consumers. The owner makes us feel included, making our interactions very productive since he ensures that we have the final say in the decision. At the end of each service visit, the owner takes the time to orally provide a concrete report about all that took place and possibly any additional findings outside of the original scope of work that may require future attention. However, if while working on the vehicles, and they come across something that requires immediate attention and safety is a factor, the owner will personally contact us to review those findings with us. A notable strength of the company is their ability to be efficient and prompt! I am convinced that anyone who utilizes their service will be satisfied.

We found Owen's place by chance and found him on a Saturday. He was so kind to us and helped us look at our van. We initially thought that we needed to change our catalytic converter due to code P0420, but Owen told us we did not need to and we saved a ton of money with his honest diagnosis. As vanlifers, we have met so many bad and shady mechanics to know a good mechanic when we see one. Really grateful to Owen for all his help and great advice!

Owen, the owner and mechanic, is both knowledgeable and honest. I called at 5:45 about my cars ac compressor not functioning and he immediately dropped his project (this is after regular work hours) to take the time to diagnose the problem at no cost to me. He wasn't pushy in any way about what service needed to be done and gave a recommendation based on what you need rather than what would make him the most money. He's a good man.

On Friday, June 10, 2022 my Acura MDX suddenly experienced a light on my dashboard that reads “Check charging system”. I quickly opened google in search of a great mechanic with a high rating near my work place in Brighton. I located Factory Auto Service with a 5 star. I immediately contacted the place and I spoke with the owner about my problems and he moved his schedule around to accommodate me. I towed my car to his place and he stated that he will keep me posted. In less than two hours, he contacted me with great news. My car just needed some tightening and little work. I was very happy with the news and told him that I will pick up my car next day since I have work that day and he agreed. On Saturday, June 11, I went to see him and he gave me the keys stating that I didn’t need to pay anything because it was only a small work. With the soaring inflation and the way we are all struggling, this was highly appreciated and it showed that we can still have faith in humanity. He is trustworthy and honorable man. I have dealt with many mechanics in my life but this level of compassion, kindness and professionalism toward a first time customer, never. Highly recommended!

Factory Auto Service has not only kept my Honda Odyssey running, but have extended the life of the vehicle which is a huge savings $$$. Owen the owner is not only the best mechanic I know, he also a great guy. He’s courteous, professional, trustworthy, and most important a master mechanic. Ethical means doing the right thing when no one is looking, I can always count on Factory Auto Service to do the right thing when servicing my vehicle. Owen, the owner is great and professional. My honda civic had Air Conditioning (AC) problem, and Owen explained to me in detail what is going on and how he will fix it. If you are an HBS student looking for honest yet affordable service, I can't recommend Owen enough! I have used Owen for multiple repairs on my fiancee's vehicle. He truly cares about his customers and has provided honest advice, fair pricing, and excellent customer service each time I've visited. Not once have I felt like Owen was trying to upsell me; he always provides clear evidence pertaining to vehicle issues, explanations on how he's going to fix it, and honest quote breakdowns.

The owner of this shop Owen is the absolute best. He ALWAYS goes above and beyond to provide the best service possible. I have had several issues with my car over the last couple of months, and any time that I call Owen, he always answers right away and is willing to take a look and help me out. I feel so lucky to have such an amazing mechanic in my area to rely on. I trust his opinion 100%. He also is always super reasonable with pricing and works to try to fix any problem at the lowest cost possible. He takes the time to talk to you and explain the problem and what he does to fix it. Owen is the absolute best! He was very friendly and responsive over the phone, got me an appointment within the week even though he is very busy, and sent a quote over by email promptly. His service was top-notch: he completed a high volume of work in a short timeframe, despite unexpected issues arising during the course of service, and took the time to show me in detail the issues I was having and how he went about resolving them! Owen is the most genuine mechanic I’ve ever met! I had a really poor experience at Akiki Auto Body in Hyde Park. They tried to swindle me out of $1800 to replace standard mirrors on my 2016 Hyundai Tucson. I ended up buying the mirrors myself for $200 total and came across Factory Auto Service and saw the 5 stars, and immediately called Owen to schedule a time to get this fixed! He was happy to install the mirrors I bought and did it in under an HOUR. It costed me under $300. Owen is honest, kind and not trying to screw anyone over. As a woman, it’s far too common for male mechanics to try to trick us into paying more thinking we don’t know about cars. I’m no car expert, but I did my research on how much a standard mirror replacement should be, and Akiki’s trying to charge $1800 was fishy to me. Owen validated my concerns and we had a nice conversation during my service as well. Support honest mechanics like Owen!

Factory Auto Service and Owen came through for us on short notice! All kinds of construction around here, it was only a matter of time before we picked up a screw in our tire. Owen fixed it up, topped all our tires off with air, and diagnosed an issue with one of the tires that had a slow leak. We will definitely be back next time we need some maintenance!

Owen is the best. A kind, patient, down to earth, and knowledgeable auto mechanic and teacher. Beyond fair pricing. Me and my family have been going to him for over 5 years for car services - ranging from oil changes, side mirror replacements, battery issues, AC issues, tire rotations, recommendations for large auto welding needs, etc....
