Update to the reply from the company: ive still got the reciept. Tire shops definitely dont do head gaskets. I'm not normally one to leave a bad review for somebody, but our situation has gone far enough. Mid to end of 2022, we purchased a used 2010 subaru outback from a dealer in North Salt Lake. The car didn't even make it home and was overheating bad and dying. We took it back in to their mechanic, brothers auto, on a trailer. First of all, it took 2 months to get our car back. Second, instead of redoing the 75000 mile motor in it at the time, they replaced it with a supposedly resurfaced and new head gasket 120000 mile motor without asking us. They gave us a receipt showing new water pump, new thermostat, head surface, all new gaskets, new timing belt, and so on. Well, 6 months ago the water pump went bad. The thermostat had not been replaced prior to the new pump going on 6 months ago. Now a month ago, the car blew a head gasket. In taking the motor out we found a least 5 critical bolts barely ratchet tight, definitely not torqued, and others torqued well beyond spec. We were also missing a couple of critical bolts. We just got the heads back from machining today and learned that it has never been resurfaced, and only had the gaskets switched out to cheap felpro gaskets. In talking to a couple of mechanics, they describe it as a craigslist/ebay rebuild. The rest of the gaskets in the intake and everything else are suspect as well. My point being, we were lied to about the entire thing, and are lucky we made it a year. We are now having to dump another couple grand into it just to get it running again. I will never trust a cheap mechanic again. They may be cheap and quick, but is the longevity there? Sorry to be so negative but its just disgusting to do that to somebody.

Brothers auto, is thorough, considerate and does a great job well done. They made sure that I had parts that actuately fit my vehicle. And I received warranties for the parts that were placed in my vehicle.
