My car broke down in Carmel and upon advice from a local in the parking lot we were in, I had it towed to C&C. They took my car immediately, and had the part I needed already on hand! They also did a full check while they had my car opened up and found the cause of an unrelated issue I hadn't even mentioned (my car had been running through oil too quickly), which they also fixed quickly- and I didn't have to pay double in labor! C&C was kind and empathetic and did everything they could to keep me safe and also save me some cash. Thanks Mike & folks at C&C!

It's such a relief to find someone local who can work on your car and whom you can trust. I've been looking for a mechanic to work on my Golf R for awhile and I'm thankful that I was referred to Mike and the team. You can trust what they say. Mike reviewed some work the dealership suggested I do on my car and told me what I really needed to do. He then completed the job quickly and within a reasonable budget. I will only go here to have my car worked on in the future. If they work on your type of car, consider yourself lucky, and don't go anywhere else.

This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a mechanic. I used to take my car to Firestone where they would always end up finding 5 other things that suddenly had issues and needed to be fixed right away (total con artists at Firestone). I never felt like I could trust them to be honest with me. I took my car here and for the first time in years I actually felt like the mechanic was being totally honest and transparent with me. I told him what was wrong with my car and he found and fixed the issue immediately, no catches or surprise unrelated problems popping up like I've experienced with so many other mechanics. I'm so grateful to finally have a mechanic I can trust who won't try to scam me.

I strongly recommend this auto repair shop. Yesterday, during rush hour on my way home from work, both the check engine light and the EPC light suddenly came on in my car. The steering wheel was also vibrating, which made me very nervous. Considering the safety issue, I immediately drove to the repair shop, but it was my first time going there and I couldn't find it. I called them right away, and they were very helpful. They came out onto the street to guide me to their location, allowing me to smoothly bring my car in for repairs. It was almost 5 o'clock at that time, and they were about to close in five minutes. I'm thankful they didn't refuse to help me. They managed to fix the car in a very short time, enabling me to drive home safely with peace of mind. The service is great and the price is reasonable.

I purchased a 1989 VW Vanagon in Washington State and while I was driving to Orange County, a few days later, I noticed a blinking red light on my vehicle temperature gauge. I pulled over for the evening and next morning called a Vanagon auto repair specialist who I found due to positive reviews on Google. I spoke with Solomon at C & C Repair in Monterey who was very helpful and arranged with the mechanic for me to bring it in for a check. I arrived 30 minutes later and the mechanic, David?, came out to talk to me about the van. After answering his questions he quickly diagnosed the issue and promptly fixed it. He also gave me a few very helpful pointers and bits of information about the vehicle I had only purchased 4 days previously. I tried to pay him and he refused as he “hadn’t really done anything”. I really appreciate him putting my mind at ease and helping me out of a stressful situation. I highly recommend C & C Auto Repair.

Just had car towed from BMW dealership in Seaside to these guys for a second opinion. BMW ran their diagnostic check for $300 and tons of issues showed up. They sent me a bill that was absurd! Never really inspected the car to determine if the sensors going off were really an issue or not. Will never go back there again! C&C gave the correct diagnosis and are outstanding!!! Was about to buy a new car but now get to keep mine. Found my new shop though as a result of this so it was worth the headache! Highly recommend C&C💯💯

Dave is awesome. In town for car week, 993 Turbo broke down 90 miles before getting to Monterey… not only did Dave allow me to have car towed to his place after hours, but immediately fixed my car the very next morning. I got my car when i was stationed in Hawaii, this shop was recommended to me by the only shop in Honolulu that didn't want rip me off (because of principle). I am so glad i followed the recommendation. No one touches my vehicles other than C&C since i got back to CA in 2016. The shop gives NO BS and brutally honest assessments. Something every car owner must have as their mechanic. Very friendly and flexible. They know what they are talking about. My new favorite Porsche shop. In town for Car Week and my check engine light comes on. Porsche Monterey won’t plug it in for 5 days. SMH. I call, C&C and David tells me to bring the car over.
