My issue with this garage, that they don't fix the problems; they replace parts assuming that it will fix it. He didn't diagnose the problem properly, he just took guess and start replacing parts assuming that it will fix the car, cost me over $4600 and still have unfixed car, in his defense he run out options how to fix the car..somehow mechanic..if you would have diagnosed it and find the root cause before replacing some of the good parts, repair would have been cheaper..I took his suggestion to replace both side lifters which was unnecessary, he ensure me that doing so I shouldn't have any problems..yet car still misfire and shakes..he refused to continue fixing car or return some of the money..

It's such a relief to find an Auto Repair shop that is pretty quick in servicing a vehicle, knowledgeable in determining the problem, and is honest and has a high level of integrity. I brought in my work vehicle with a check engine light on with several codes signalling problems. Natalie kept me posted to the progress as Dimitri and the shop worked diligently to get the problem fixed (a damaged wiring harness). I got my vehicle back fixed and running great and the cost was a welcome relief from what I've paid to other shops in the past. Thank you Cal Oaks Auto Repair for your help and I will pass on your info to people I know that need their autos serviced.

Cal Oaks Auto Repair is, hands-down, the best auto repair spot you'll find! The staff is always super friendly, the repairs are done quickly, and the repairs are done all for a VERY reasonable price. My first repair was a A/C compressor on my vehicle, and by going here I saved 3 days and $500. The other mechanic wanted my vehicle for 3 days and Cal Oaks Auto Repair got it done in about 6 hours, for $500 less!! I've had work done multiple times on our vehicles and I've always been pleased. I came to Cal Oaks based on multiple positive reviews on Yelp. I brought my car in for a potential brake job and transmission fluid change. As I brake, I had screeching/grinding noise, so I thought I would need new rotors as well. I didn't end up needed new brakes, but the shop did the transmission service. I could not believe the difference in transmission shifting! I don't think my car ran smoother since I bought it. Now at 180K miles, it runs wonderfully. Customer service I got was excellent. The woman at the front desk was beyond nice. Dimitri came out to say hi as I was picking up my car and explained to me that while they could not diagnose exactly where the grinding noise was originating, they could not find anything wrong with my car. He advised that I should come back if the noise gets worse. Overall, very positive experience. I will certainly be back!

As a business owner I know how important it is to give feedback on services that you provide for your customers. Dimitri is by far the most honest, reasonable, and professional mechanic in Murrieta, hands down! I live in Rancho Cucamonga and was out on a service call in San Diego when my service van died on me. Realizing that I had no other alternative than to either tow it or take it to a local mechanic, I took a leap of faith and pushed my service vehicle to the nearest gas station around. That 76 gas station had an auto shop named 'Cal Oaks Auto Repair.' Not only did they repair my vehicle, but Dimitri and co. helped me out with a very reasonable price. I'm willing to drive out 45 miles from Rancho Cucamonga to Murrieta just to get my vehicles serviced. That's how great Cal Oaks Auto Repair is!!!! Thank you guys! i called to get an estimate on a repair that has already been diagnosed by another mechanic shop that gave me a very high estimate. the car has to be towed to that shop. when I called Cal Oaks they would not give me the repair estimate without having the car at their shop. I find that unprofessional. I owned a mechanic shop prior to this and we always gave an estimate to the clients and noted that it could change once we did the inspection in shop. that is how an honest professional company does business.
