The level of customer care at Caliber Collision-El Cajon (especially if lucky enough to have Trevor Davidson heading up the repairs), just can’t be beat! Once my car was at their facility and throughout the repair process, Trevor made sure I was brought up to date each step of the way. He answered my questions thoughtfully, made sure I understood and never rushed, and seemed genuinely happy to be helping me. He made sure to tell me what an amazing job his detail person did on the interior of my car and was excited for me to see it ~ boy was he right! No exaggeration; it looks better after leaving this shop than when I purchased it about two years ago at Car Max!! With all the complaints from people these days, I thought it would be nice to hear feedback from someone who absolutely couldn’t be happier with their staff…. especially the kind and helpful professionalism of Trevor. It was an insurance claim and they rushed the fix. I was out of town when it was ready and told them give me a couple days to return to look at the repairs. Instead they called my mom even when the car isn’t in her name at all, and dropped the car off to her without my authorization or notifying me. Because of this my insurance stopped paying the rental I was in and I was left to pay everything out of pocket. This gave me problems with the insurance company and the rental company. Very unprofessional Alonzo.

Outstanding service! If I ever find myself in need of repairs again, this is where I will be taking my car. The repairs were done in a satisfactory timely manner and I was updated during the whole process. Trevor was my main contact and walked me through the process of getting my car back to “like new” condition. I feel safe with the repairs and have so much trust in this shop. The entire staff was friendly, genuinely concerned about getting my car repaired and back to me as soon as possible. I can't say enough about how helpful they were! Randy called me often with status reports on my car and explained everything that was being done. The manager, Matt, made me feel cared about from the moment I walked in and even drove me home to get my driver's license, which I had inadvertently left behind after filing my insurance claim. Another staff member drove me to Enterprise when they didn't pick me up in a timely matter. I would highly recommend this facility for your car repair needs - my car looks like new!

I took my vehicle to Caliber Collision on 11/18/24 for repairs. They stated that my vehicle was going to take 2 weeks to repair. They are really good on updating you everyday on the status on the repairs on your vehcile. Within one week I got my repairs done and got my vehicle back. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I brought my truck in for insurance body work repairs. The whole right side needed repairs so when they pushed back the initial estimated completion date, I was ok with that. After that, they kept pushing back the date for various reasons, one being that the right side mirror had gone missing. Another excuse they gave me was that they didn’t have enough clear coating. Two and a half months later, I’m able to finally pick up my truck. But it wouldn’t start! The battery terminal connectors were all scratched up and one was missing a screw so it was loose. I brought it to my mechanic to test the batteries and maybe get the screw replace and they found a rag ON TOP OF THE TURBO! It was burned and smoking! If I drove my truck further than that, it would’ve caught the whole truck on fire. Communication with the estimate adjuster, Trevor, was fine, but I will never get body work done with Caliber Collisions again.

I was in a car accident a few weeks ago that required a good amount of work (I was rear-ended). Alfonso and the team at Caliber on N. Johnson were top notch! They provided the BEST customer service, always kept me updated (I never had to reach out once!) did the work correctly, and were fast&efficient. I highly recommend this location and you can’t go wrong with Alfonso&Co.! Below are the before photos and one after. Most of the damage was underneath. I feel like I have a brand new car!
