★☆☆☆☆ Poor quality of technical work: We took our Dodge Grand Caravan to caliber upon recommendation of USAA after hitting a deer. The car was drivable and had minor damage to the passenger's side of the front bumper. Caliber gave an estimate that was in the range of totaling the car, and we opted to retain the car so Calibur needed to reassemble it after partially dissassembling for the estimate, so we could drive it off. They charged $200 for their time to reassemble, however when we arrived to pick it up, they had placed the front bumper on with a couple of pieces of masking tape and used none of the hardware or Fasteners on the pasengers side that the bumper came in with. There is no damage to the bumper around the wheel well, however they did not replace any of the hardware or Fasteners that could have held-up the bumper in that area. I had to buy new hardware and fasteners which I'm sure the technicians left in the shop on the floor or in a trash can. So much for the $200 reassembly fee. I'm surprised the masking tape held-up the bumper on until I got home. When I got home I took the masking tape off and the bumper fell to the ground on the passengers side. I'm not sure what the $200 was for since this "reassembly" must have taken them all of 2 minutes. The bottom line is the car was in better shape when I drove it in than when I left with it. The front desk staff was awesome and helped in every way, however, I don't go to an automotive body shop for the quality of the front desk staff, I go to it because I'm counting on the technicians to care about the quality of their work just a little bit. And this is why I will not go back to Caliber Collision.
