Avoid this Athens location and use other locations. We had our vehicle repaired here and they used a broken headlight. The replacement headlight moved constantly and would shine straight up into the sky when we accelerated and then straight down to the ground while braking. Not sure how this was missed during the repair as we noticed it immediately. The experience only got worse from this point. We frequently had to pop replaced parts back into place as they were often falling off and into the wheels and tires. When we returned the manager said it was an easy fix and would take four hours, it just needed the bumper realigned. We agreed to leave it for a day so they would have plenty of time. While there, we listened to the staff go into a backroom (near their restrooms) and argue over fixing it. During their argument, we learned that the original repair technician was no longer employed there and they really didn’t want to fix our car. They were very loud and we could hear everything from their waiting area. I scheduled an appointment and we dropped the vehicle off the night before the appointment. The next morning a lady called and stated that they had no record of our appointment. The promised “four hour repair” resulted in wasting two days of vacation only to get it back unfinished and more parts hanging off. Check out the pic of the vehicle when we went to pick it up on January 3rd after they had the vehicle for two days. This picture is in their parking lot! I popped the trim above the wheel back on so we could drive the vehicle home. I attempted to work with the location manager, John, but his aggressive attitude and lack of follow up only created more problems. He was very hostile on the phone. John really should not be interacting with customers as he’s greatly damaging the reputation of Caliber Collision. This poor repair experience coupled with his bullying attitude are something that I will never forget. The Suwanee location ended up replacing many parts to correctly repair our vehicle and their level of professionalism is a million times better than Athens. The Suwanee location needed our vehicle for an additional ten days after the Athens location initially “repaired it”. I will never return to the Athens location and will let my friends and family know about our experience. After this experience, I'm going to tell anybody with vehicle damage to avoid Caliber in Athens.

EDIT: 2 weeks after emailing the provided email they sent in the comment section, and still no reply. Not even a "thank you, we've received your email." Don't waste your time emailing your complaints either. I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. Dropped my car off for work to be done. Key fob was working when I left it. When we picked it up, the service man that worked on my car told us the battery must have died in my fob because he couldnt get it to work when he went to bring it around to us. Went and bought a new battery; still didnt work. My husband went back to caliber to get it fixed. They said they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it and suggested he go to Nissan to figure it out. My husband went to Nissan and was told that the key fob was likely dropped and could not be fixed, so I would have to get a new fob for $500. My husband went back to caliber and asked the serviceman in front of the manager when he noticed the key fob stopped working. The serviceman said it worked the whole time until the day we went to pick it up. My husband asked the manager what the next step to get it taken care of was and the manager said we couldn't prove the damage was done at caliber and he couldn't physically see the damage, so we would need to pay out of pocket for a new key fob. We have reached out to the corporate office and the caliber in athens multiple times to get answers and we have been told they will call us back or that they can't get ahold of the insurance company or can't get ahold of anyone else to handle the situation, AFTER 3 WEEKS. This is no way to run a business and so sad to see all of the reviews that we trusted to have our work done just to be treated as a nuisance.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS SHOP! They do not know what they are doing! My insurance company had me take my vehicle there for repairs after a small fender bender and wheel damage. The supposedly repaired it and charged the insurance approx. 5K. When I picked it up the bumper was not in properly and the wheel still made the same noise. I returned it to them and after another week and changing the axle I picked up the car making the same noise. I took the car to the dealership only to find out that the axle did not need to be changed and the strut mount was the problem. They absolutely had no idea what they were doing and the insurance was charged for parts and labor that did not need to be done! ALSO ALL THE OTHER PARTS THAT WERE CHANGED WERE LOOSE AND IMPROPERLY INSTALLED! THE DEALERSHIP WORKED FOR 2 HOURS TO TIGHTEN UP EVERYTHING THEY DID! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The lady at the front desk is extremely unprofessional and rude. I was instructed to come for pictures of my car to send to GEICO and she informed me I was scheduled for work to be done. When I told her I was here for pictures only she rolled her eyes and instructed me to wait in the waiting room. I asked where the waiting room was and she rolled her eyes, did not answer me and started helping the next person. The gentlemen that took the pictures was nice and informative, but I will not let them do the work on my car due to terrible customer service from the receptionist.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I felt this was worth sharing. A couple of years ago, my wife, my kids, and I were driving to Pass Christian, Mississippi when a piece of tire debris flew up and damaged the front bumper on our 2015 Toyota Sienna. We stopped at a Caliber Collision in Pass Christian, and they were excellent. They did a temporary repair at no charge so we could safely drive back to Athens, GA and complete the full repair through insurance. We were very impressed. Because of that experience — and since Allstate (our insurer) partners with Caliber — we chose Caliber Collision in Athens for the full repair. Unfortunately, our experience here was very different. The workmanship was not up to par, and we had to bring the vehicle back two or three times to address issues. At one point, a fog lamp was knocked out of place. When we returned, we were told it looked like a rock had hit it and it would not be covered. Given the recent repair work in that same area, that explanation was frustrating. After the repairs were completed, I left a voicemail with a follow-up question and never received a call back. It felt as though once the repair was paid and closed out, communication stopped. I hesitated to leave this review because the repairs were under warranty, and I didn’t want to create any tension if we needed future service. Recently, our bumper was damaged again in a separate incident, and we’ve chosen to move forward with another shop, Sky Collision, that will stand behind their work. Because of that, I feel more comfortable sharing our experience. Not all Caliber Collision locations are the same. Our experience in Pass Christian was excellent — our experience in Athens was not. **Update: in response to the owner’s reply, I have sent them an email further detailing my experience. Moreover, I explained that there would be nothing to resolve since I am getting my vehicle repaired at Sky Collision.

The best auto repair experience I've had! The crew at Caliber were super friendly and made the repair process super easy for me. My truck was done ahead of schedule, the first time a repair shop has EVER got me back on the road before they said they would. And not at a lack of quality either! The truck looks better than stuff coming off the assembly line these days! You can tell they pay attention to detail in their work. I highly recommend based off of my positive experience!

Martin took care of everything! He was professional, taking in the damage report accurately and then coordinated the rental company to pick me up. He texted updates before the automated systems could and notified me well in advance that my car was done early, giving me plenty of time to coordinate getting there. Just drop the rental at the shop and drive your car away; don't worry, they do great work! I wish they could work on my IH Scouts!
