Upon visiting California Test Only the owner / operator Willie introduced each other. He directed me cordially to the service desk. There Mary was finishing explaining the provided service to another customer to his satisfaction. It was a hot day near to the 90's F. The total time for the Test Only Service was less than 20 minutes without a line for waiting. Every question I asked, having over 30 years experience in the automotive repair field, was answered honestly and with integrity. Just moved here from out of state. Wanted a "test only" facility so there wouldn't be any incentive for recommended repairs, I was in and out in about 15 to 20 minutes. Receptionist, Gisela, was courteous, friendly and professional. While I was there I observed Mike assisting with a customer that was having some difficulty because the customer's paperwork was not matching the documents provided. Mike was calm and patient and worked with the customer to get things straightened out. This is my first ever review and I provided it because I saw a negative review on the site and I wanted to confirm that on my visit of 11-13-2017 the experience was an excellent one from a customer perspective. In fact, I went back 30 minutes later with my other out of state vehicle.

I have to say that, based on the last smog station I used, my experience here was fast, helpful, and the service, both testing tech and customer service, was a pleasure. I entered having had a bad experience from another testing station in Escondido. The prior tech was clueless when it came to my older 1989 vehicle, which requires a data relay sensor to be jumped when testing to get an accurate timing test. Willy not only knew what to do, but was incredibly nice in making sure I would be able to pass the test before they charged me. Unlike most people these days, who would take advantage to make a buck! Marisol, at the front desk, was pleasant and also helpful, knowing I had had a bad experience before, even volunteering to have me talk to the tech beforehand to relieve my concerns. Incredible! Even though a mechanic suggested a different smog station, I chose this one because they were attentive when I called ahead, and they gave me a good feeling, which was not betrayed. Great customer service. Professionalism. Kind and generous in communication. Can I give 6 stars?

This place has great service! I didn't have an appointment.I inadvertently stopped there on my way to another smog service and they gave me a discounted rate.Brenda was very helpful and friendly. Dennis and Mo got my car smogged in record time. I hardly sat down to enjoy their free coffee and donuts when they announced my car was ready! I'll be back!! Your employees rock!!!
